GM POSTThe house shuddered and all the conveyor belts vanished, dropping the hunters to the ground, which had suddenly became softer. There was a noise that sounded like a groan before the whole building vanished altogether, leaving the hunters in what looked like a swamp. In front of them was a green sewer pipe, open at the top...
That was probably their exit.
[CONGRATULATIONS! Your group has successfully completed the puzzle! Please wait while I prepare your next room. In the meantime, your group is cleared to go visit your Hub! Don't forget your entrance/exit posts!
I will quote-summon the group back here when the next puzzle is ready. Please return once that happens as you cannot enter/exit the group threads in the middle of a challenge. Thank you!

The muck wasn't so bad. Harrison realized he had exactly the right shoes for it. He still held onto B0nez, expecting something to smash into him at any minute.
Instead, it was mostly quiet. Just in front of them, something that might have been an exit. ...Or an entrance.
"Uh, speaking of."
He peered up into the sewer pipe. He couldn't quite see into it, and even though it felt dangerous, like the slide, the color was familiar. "I think this may be our pipe," Harrison said. What do you think, B0nez.
I think one of them should go first.
I think I don't feel like sticking around here any longer.
Harrison took an educated guess, and dropped in.
Exit to Hub.

"R-right! Right! We should er! Head along! Before something else tries to kill us, ahahaha..." He straightened his glasses, wobbling backward as he gave Candace's hand a squeeze, "Hopefully this one won't lead to more madness, huh? Although I suppose that's doubtful, ahaha..." Desensitization. Perhaps it would eventually set in if he was subjected to more madness?
Only time would tell.
And she had kissed him. And had... had agreed to... and they had LIVED...
Still looking flustered, he gave her a timid salute, still reeling a bit from battle, before swinging his stockinged feet over the pipe and sliding after Harrison.
Hopefully they could find their proper uniforms, or at least a change of clothes beyond the pipe.

"I don't want to schmooze later. Clearly I want to do it now." Came Candace's retort to Harrison's tease, grinning Jerry's way. How precious! He was like a lovestruck teenager after she'd kissed him! That was adorable! She was good until the house shuddered. The house shaking never meant anything good, it always led to more ridiculous shenanigans that resulted in them being covered in rainbow slime or having crocodiles thrown at them.
Seriously? Crocodiles? Where the ******** did that even...whatever.
Candace gave a cry of surprise as the belt underneath her vanished and she landed on the ground, or rather..in the ground. In muck. And swamp. And just...ugh. Got to be ******** kidding. She glared at the pipe and angrily hummed a random little tune to herself. The last time she had allowed herself to believe she was living a video game she had killed ten people, her own teammates included. She didn't want to do that...this time. Not to Harrison or to Jerry. No. A glance was cast up at the two men before she got up, picking muck and slime and plant life off her body. "The house can't kill us, Jerry. We have a date. You promised." She said simply, letting him take her hand and following him to the pipe with the reluctance of a house cat being carried to a bath tub full of water. Do. Not. Want.
But she had no choice. They both went in before her and she refused to stay here any longer.

The room was dark and very silent... Reaching behind them, the door they had entered from had vanished, leaving only smooth, solid wall.
It might be time to think of a way to look at their surroundings.

Entering from Backyard
"This is worse than the alley," Harrison muttered, stepping into the dark. Not even a few blinking, broken streetlights. Nobody shuffling around.
It was just dark.
Harrison put one of B0nez's blades through his belt loop, and dug out his flashlight, running it across first the wall where the door had been, and then the rest of the room.

Jerry was floating, positively floating behind Candace as she carried him by the hand like a love-struck balloon... but a needle was quickly put to that feeling as darkness enveloped them. J-just... just a lack of light. Just an... an interlude before they turn them on. He breathed deep, hand suddenly clenching Candace's a bit *too tight*, "Are... is... is this it? C-can't do... do anything in the dark, do you have a... a lighter or... or Roar's eyes glow, yes! Yes just.. just a little light and ah... ahaha..."

Entering from Backyard
"Alley?" Candace gave Harrison a confused look, letting him go so he could dig around in his bag. She had woken up tied up in the room he'd found them in, so Candace knew nothing of the alley Harrison had ended up starting off in. She tried to free her hand from Jerry's but he started to squeeze it, and by squeezing she meant he began to strangle it within an inch of its life. Ow. Ow. Ow! "Ow, Jerry. You're hurting me." She told him as gently as she could, tugging at her hand. He didn't have to let go she just wanted him to relax. Was he okay? Did...he not like the dark?
Humming softly, Candace used her now free hand to find her own flashlight, looking behind them to scan the wall. The door was gone. "I hate this house." She gestured to the wall. "Door's gone..."

The door was gone. The door was gone and they were locked in the dark. Immediately, Jerry's weapon was summoned in his hand, his breathing quick in the shadows behind Candace as he let her go, jerking left and white, "I h-heard something did you hear something I swear I just heard something!" There wasn't anything to hear but the sound of his own racing heartbeat, but he fired wildly into the darkness all the same, Roar's blows echoing around them.

GM POSTThe flashlight would reveal certain things - for example, that they were standing in front of a wall and behind a wooden desk, dusty from lack of use. There was a projector screen at the side of the desk, pulled down but coated with a thick layer of dust, just like the desk was. On the other side of the room were wooden steps leading up to a double door - all in all, it looked like the lecture hall of a university, with all the student desks and seats removed.
The bazooka fire hit the stairs, destroying a small section of it.
The room then started to shake a bit, and water started to pour out from the ground at the top of the room, cascading down the steps to pool around where they were currently standing. Water was also pouring into the hole that had been formed when Jerry had fired his weapon... It would seem like the steps are not as stable as they look. Quote: OOC: The way across is an invisible path. The invisible path is horizontal and vertical; there are no diagonals. It is your choice whether or not you wish to make a straight line across it; keep in mind that in doing so it may hurt. You have been warned. -> The white crosses shows where the tiles had been hit by Jerry's weapon. -> Hint: Rather than just ONE path, there are simply 'safe' and 'unsafe' tiles. -> You may draw your character's path from start to end, and I'll simply tell you if he/she stepped on an unsafe tile when I check the thread, or you may go one step at a time. Example, putting in OOC brackets [Moving from F1 to E1.]

Candace was still looking around, trying to find a way out until Jerry suddenly let go of her hand. Huh? Why was he...? In the darkness of the room the glow of Roar's summon was obvious and she gasped, whirling around on her heel and pointing her flashlight at him. "No, Jerry. No. You promised." But it was no use, he began firing anyway. Candace threw her arms over her head and ducked. Just let him fire. Maybe he'd shoot a hole in the wall that would let some light in..that'd be nice, actually.
You sure know how to pick 'em, Candace. Harrison was right. He's a real livewire. Atropos groaned, and Candace was sure that if she could she'd be rubbing her face in frustration. Candace glared down at her rings. Shut up. He's obviously got a problem with the dark...we'll just have to work on that. Candace was not going to let Jerry keep doing this. Not if she had anything to say about it. But the bazooka did hit something. What was...
...Wait...
Candace paused and pointed her flashlight away from Jerry to look around the rest of the room. Her heart pounded furiously at what she was seeing. It was her old lecture hall, or one that looked eerily similar to it. She backed away until she felt the wall against her back, dropping her flashlight and pressing back against the wall as much as she physically could. No. Nonono. Why this room? This was..this was that room! The one she was supposed to..! NO!
The shaking room sent her sliding down until she was sitting on the floor, eyes wide and body pressed tightly against the wall. What was that noise? Was that...why was there water? Swallowing hard, Candace grabbed her flashlight and slowly stood, her balance shaky at best.
"Wh..what the hell...?" Candace held her flashlight between her chin and her chest so she could lift the bottom of her robe with both hands. "This is...somewhat normal, actually." In comparison with the rest of the rooms this was very normal.

"Yeah, a flooded auditorium. Real normal. I hope all this isn't from a busted toilet."
It felt like a scene out of Titanic.
"Water is better than needles, let's go through it and get out of here. There a way besides the stairs?" Considering the hole, and the waterfall, he didn't think that was their exit. Then again, where were they supposed to go? Up? Down? Up the stairs was the only pair of doors. Harrison put the flashlight in his teeth, and desummoned B0nez, bending to hike up the overalls. He stood again with the flashlight in hand, looking to Candace for a decision.

"I'm... I'm sorry..." Jerry gasped, hugging the bazooka despite the spines scraping against his cheek. "I just... I don't..." He relaxed a little as the flashlights and dim light of the room revealed the water and rows. "I haven't been in a... a lecture hall like this in years," He managed. Pretend the previous freak-out hadn't happened. Just... just play it cool.
"You... ah... don't suppose there's ah... piranha in the water, do you? Ahahahaha..." The laugh was a bit manic, but at least he had stopped firing.

"It's more normal than a room full of magic slides that jizzes rainbow spooge all over us, or rainbow costumes, of being attacked by singing apes with flying crocodiles." Candace retorted, kicking her legs a little in discomfort. The water was rising...what if it got so high they drowned? Were the steps really the only say out? Candace sighed and looked down at her robe. She was already tired of carrying it, icing in and just letting it go; a little water wasn't going to kill them...hopefully. They'd almost laughed to death, so Candce was ready to believe almost anything right about now.
Candace's frown returned as Jerry commented on having not been in a lecture hall for years. "...I have." she mumbled, somewhat ashamed. She hoped they didn't ask anything more on the subject. Whatever it was it was enough to bother Candace a great deal. It was making her nervous to be in here, the one room in her school where she had admitted defeat and deemed her life to be completely over, that she was better off dead.
That WAS technically the route she had gone, wasn't it?
"From the looks of it we have no choice to get up the stairs. But I bet you anything this is another damn trap, so be careful." She told both men as she began to trudge forward, her movements slowed. Her the increasing heaviness of the steadily soaking robe. Jerry's concern and followed laughter had her stopping, pointing her flashlight down at the water. As crazy as he sounded her had a good point. "Guess there's only one way to find out. Come on, we don't have any time to waste if this water is just going to keep rising like this."
