So, how is this idea compared to my other attempts at vampire roleplays?
  I like it! [Thank you very much; I'm happy to hear that~]
  Meh. Mediocre, as always. [To each their own.]
  This idea is bad and you should feel bad! [I choose to feel jubilated instead.]

"Bring your entire band tomorrow night and give me a good show. If I like what I hear, the gig is yours." Anya replied smoothly, not too keen on doing any sort of meetings during the day. Those always took so long, perhaps even long enough for the sun's rays to boil her thoroughly. Such a nasty thought, it was.

Zen nodded his head in agreement, “Very well, I shall bid you farewell.” He nodded his head in thanks and found his own way out. She was certainly interesting and he wouldn't mind finding out more about her.

Once Zen was home, he contacted his band with potentially good news. They were excited about the try outs tomorrow night.

After the girls talked for maybe an hour, and Marie drank enough water to ward off any hope of a hang over, she felt it was time to get some sleep. Though her meeting wasn't until tomorrow night, she still wanted to get up at least by noon so she could make she was prepared. Bidding the girls goodnight, Marie went back to her room, locking the door behind her. After clearing her bed of the few art supplies and whatnot that had been tossed there, she quickly undressed and slipped into one of her nightdresses. After turning off the lights she got into bed, pulling her thick quilt over her. She had thought that with her excitement for tomorrow that she might have had a hard time getting to sleep that night, but quite the contrary, in a matter of moments she had fallen into a deep sleep.

Having eaten, Neil licked the blood off his lips.
"Filling, but this is no way to eat. Fatty as hell."

{Yes, timeskip. To noon or the start of night?}

((I'm fine with either, just make a note that Mahlah hadn't returned yet. And I'll fill in the blanks afterwards. 3nodding ))

(Why would it be noon? Start of night's fine.)

{Mostly for the humans' sake. But night it is!}

The previous night, Anya had failed to find herself anything even remotely worth feeding on after Marie and Neil left. She felt as if she were starving, and because of this, she looked clearly irritable as she paced about her office. So thirsty. So impatient. It didn't help at all that Mahlah had yet to return. She seemed to give off an aura of tension, of somehow adding at least a little annoyance or rage into the hearts of those near her. Thankfully, she was currently by herself in her office, where she could not influence the local peons humans that frequented Vice.

Neil was sitting at the bar, nursing a glass of wine. He couldn't wait to drink that girl's blood. He was certain that it would taste much better than that... horrendous meal he had partaken in the previous night.

Only the insane have strength to prosper...

Mahlah

The night had fallen over what had been a stressful, soul crushing day. Mahlah had stayed in the streets, bits and pieces of a shattered memory from the night before. It tried to convince itself that it wasn’t to blame, that it was a beast that had been unleashed when it saw its friends shot and hurt. It tried to convince itself of that, but the fact remained that it was responsible for ending a small number of human lives. Though the constant scrubbing, the colour of blood was off of its hands, but the smell remained, awakening its guilt time and time again when it wasn’t wandering the streets in a haze. It was constantly drifting in and out from a nightmare laced daydreams and blurring the walls of what fragmented memories it managed to pull out of its conscious and mix it with those dreadful ‘what ifs’ that warped and twisted its mind and perverted its already unknown past. It had literally walked all over town that day, it had actually passed Maries place a couple of times, though it wouldn’t have known and even if it did, it wouldn’t have actually been in a state of mind to acknowledge her loggings. Mahlah was sitting under a tree, limp and almost lifeless, its eyes stared out blankly ahead of it. The chill of the night slowly brought it out of its penitence and it stirred awake. Slowly it pulled itself up, still bloated and uncomfortable with the vast amount of vitae that it gorged itself on in its frenzy. It slowly made its way back, it decided that it was safer to keep its mouth shut and act as though nothing happened when it went to the Club. It was going to have to face Anya sooner of later, perhaps it was better to just bite the bullet and take whatever came from Anya. It had a feeling that it wasn’t going to be well received when it finally got back to the club. Either Anya or Neil was probably going to jump on it when they smelled the blood on its hands. The smell was driving it almost insane, it couldn’t imagine what sort of effect it would have on a full blooded vampire.

To make matters worse, it didn’t know what happened to the other dogs were that were once apart of the pack that it fed, did it kill them too in its blind rage? Did they escape? It hoped that they were safe wherever they were, that they were alright. It would… make it up to them if ever saw them again. It would bring them home, it was sure that Anya wouldn’t mind. After all, they were cute… at least it thought the were. It hoped that Anya got to eat something last night, she got rather short of temper when she was hungry, it was something of a blessing being a Dhampir, at least it didn’t have to consume blood on a regular basis, as long as it fed once a week it was fine, and to make matters even more simple for itself, it could feed on animals too. They tended to be a little easier to come by. The club was already getting full when it arrived, it decided to move around to the back entrance, avoiding the crowd that was gathering inside. When it was inside, its breathing got a little more rapid as the anxiety of facing Anya right now, not sure what she was like as far as being in a state of mind. When it got to the door, it paused as it felt the dread growing in its stomach as it felt the influence of Anya’s bloodline power. It swallowed hard and knocked on the door. It waited till Anya allowed it in verbally before it quietly opened the door and stepped thought. It avoided eye contact and kept its coat clenched together with a fisted hand.
“Good evening… Aunty Anya.” It said quietly. Hopefully she didn’t miss its presence during the day. It would rather not be the focus of additional agitation. The veins around its eyes were starting to darken and its skin slightly becoming more porcelain in complexion as it struggled against its ‘beast’ that was rattling its cage now that it was in the full presence of the Mother. It didn’t want to make things worse and it was doing its best not to take a ‘flight or fight’ mentality because of that unstable and uncontrollably vampiric blood that coursed though its veins… it had a rather… bad feeling about tonight.

..only those who prosper can truely judge what is sane.
