Rhone sighs and taps one of the horns on his head.
"Max....please give me my hat back."
"Oh, alright...but only because you asked nicely."
She tosses the hat to Rhone and he places it back on his head just in time to notice Lilith and Kai talking with some members of the group.
"The winged guy was actually hurt pretty bad, but that had nothing to do with you guys."
He approaches Lilith and places his right hand on his chin.
"Trying to shove your way into the group...if you can call us that...after successfully stealing from under our noses and likely from me?..."
He glares at Lilith for a few moments before his mouth curls into a smile and he starts chuckling to himself.
"You're quite bold! Or maybe just insane...either way, I quite like it. I figure you've earned the prize you made off with....though if it's one of my experimental exspheres, you'd better at least let me show you how to use it. If you screw it up, it'll likely just explode and produce unwanted side effects."
Lilith and Kai gained Hunter's attention too.
"Hey! It's the people I helped out in town!"
He runs up to the and stands next to Rhone, waving frantically.
"Hi, people I just met a little while ago!"

((yaaaaaaah, srry bout that... spent the last couple nights studying for 3 tests, ended up only having 1 the others were pushed back till next week. Give me back my lost time! crying ))
Ilene broke her glare and turned away from the male wingfolk, "Fine, act like an a** if you want!"
Sol was glad Ilene decided to give up for the moment. But he still avoided eye contact with Sirea, he learned long ago that he couldn't keep composure when somebody used that on him. He was happy that her attention shifted back to the odd looking wingfolk. He then noticed the two people that stole... whatever it was, earlier in town, he walked up to the group, "Yah, ain't your fault ended up being a pin cushion fer everyone here. Though I think it'd would only be a six on the ole wound-o-meter." He grunted, as he twisted his neck again getting another kink out of it. "Sol Morris, nice ta meet cha, by the way, as long as there's gald in it fer me, you can use me anyway you like Hun." He added a wink at the end and crossed his arms.
Ilene walked closer to Azriel and Sirea, watching Sol change his tone so quickly, "Moody little piece of..." She noticed Seria waving in front of Azriel face, "Kinda rude if to wave in someone's face, if you ask me Seria." She looked at Azriel with a worried glance. It kind of did look like she wasn't all there at the moment.

"Or maybe we have met one before and just didn't realize it..." Azriel murmured, at this point, staring absently at Rhone without realizing it. That is, until Sirea was waving her hand in her face. By the time she snapped out of it, she noticed his horns, but Rhone was covering them with his hat by then. Shaking her head, she finally replied, "Yeah, I'm fine," and blinked. "Aheheh...sorry about that, sometimes I think too much about little things."  Noticing Lilith and Kai enter the scene, her gaze shifted to them curiously. "Hey, what are they doing here?" O.o She started to quietly draw closer to where Lloyd and the others were gathering so that she could listen in. Lloyd laughed heartily for a bit at Max's childish behavior. He too noticed Rhone's horns, but mentally shrugged it off. They must've been a very well-made costume accessory...just like Azriel's mismatched wings were...right? Then he'd wonder why Rhone wanted to hide them under his hat, but for now that wasn't of too much importance to dwell upon. When Lilith and Kai approached, Lloyd faced them. "Took the words right outta my mouth, Rhone." ^_^ After a quick pause of thought, Lloyd remembered something he found the opportunity to ask about now. "Hey! Now that we can actually have a talk with you guys, you mind telling us what was that all about back there?" He pointed his thumb in the direction of the gates, referring to that commotion earlier that ended with General Laurence. "And whaddya mean you could use us...?"~~~ "Tsk, tsk, tsk...Her Majesty thought she found a potential ally, but she certainly is going to find this questionable..."Sitting atop the stone walls of Sybak's perimeter were what appeared to be a short young woman with downward-curving horns and a little girl. The former was looking in a thick book with black leather covering, while the latter was staring intently at the gathering. "MOTHER...THAT TALL ONE WITH THE LONG RED HAIR...IS HE ONE OF YOUR KIND?" Her speech was monotone and robot-like, akin to Tabatha's, but sounded more childish. "Hmm?" Her gaze did not avert from the book---she did not need to, because whatever the "little girl" was seeing, she could see in motion on a page in her book. When she asked her question, the view on the page zoomed in on Rhone. "Oh, certainly not...but it does strike a little curiosity as to why he looks similar to my kind when I sense nothing but Elven blood. Certainly one to keep an eye on, if he might stay around our charge for a while."The woman closed the book and tucked it under her arm, then looked to her companion with a warm smile. "I believe there is nothing more to see for now. Come, Lilina. We must return to base and report our findings."The "little girl" nodded at her "mother" and proceeded to sit in her lap. Then, a black cloud enveloped them both; once covering them entirely, it shrank to make them disappear.

"What? No fish?" Rin asked Eduardo. "What's wrong with you? Fish is brain food." gonk He tilted his head slightly before giving a shrug. "Oh well. Beggers can't be choosers." Turning his attention to Lilith and Kai, he too would walk over to Rhone's group.
Hearing Ilene, Sirea glanced over to her. "Hey, it's one way to tell if she's all there or not." ^.^; She said then her fox ears twitched within her hood from hearing Azriel's response. "Deep thinker, are you Miss?" She said. "For a moment there, I thought I brought up a bad memory on you." sweatdrop She looked over to Lilith and Kai then looked back at Azriel. "Are those two friends of yours?" She also started to make her way over to Rhone's group.
Colette looked to Sol when he approached them. "Oh good, you're alright." She said with a soft smile. She turned her attention over to Lilith and Kai, though Lloyd had already asked about what the whole deal was. "Is there a reason for your actions?" She asked to both Lilith and Kai. She hoped that the two would shed some light about the incident from earlier.
"Use us? Is there going to be food involved?" Rin asked then looked around. "Is it just me or is this crowd getting bigger?" sweatdrop

"uh not exactly...the leader of the Taurus Brigade has it out for us. As for what happened in Sybak we were retrieving a stolen item for our client, that was taken by that noble"

"as for your uses to me...we will have to wait and see; just know that you have piqued my interest and very few things do."

"Heeey, nothing's wrong with me! Bacon's also brain food, and it gives you muscles!" Eduardo walked after Rin. "Nothing's wrong with fish, but..."
He looked around as he reached the gathered mass of people. What are they talking about? I'm confused enough right now. I should listen in. He stood behind the others and listened. "What's this about food, Rin?"

Rhone chuckles and turns sideways from Lilitha th Kai.
"Peh, Aselia knights...bunch of pompous idiots that talk a big game, but in action....pitiful. Besides...me and my pals aren't too fond of the laws, either, given our profession. I'm not sure who you're trying to join, but if you're referring to my crew specifically, I only have one condition..."
He points to the still robed figure.
"I can't trust a man if I can't look into his eyes. Let's see your face."
Max taps Rhone on the shoulder and lightly punches him in the forehead when he turns towards her.
"Ow! What the hell??"
"Don't be rude! Maybe he just wants some privacy! You're trying to cover those horns on your head, why can't this guy cover his face?"
"That's different! I couldn't care less if people see that, I'm a freak already. People seeing that doesn't really add or take away from their reaction to me. Hell, you KNOW why I wear this hat!"
Meanwhile, Hunter was eying the two with curiosity.
"Yeah, Rhone, way to set a double-standard..."

Lilith's eyes narrowed "Kai remove your cloak"
Kai tensed up
"you heard the man, he wants to see your face"
"v-very well"
He nervously removed his cloak to reveal what seemed to be a young man, One of his eyes were blue (most likely his original eye) and the other red. His entire body covered in stitches and was a patchwork of different skin. He looked as if he had been cut up into pieces and then stitched back together.
"Please don't be afraid..." he said nervously running a hand through his blond hair
Lilith smirked.

Max flinches a little at Kai's appearance.
"Yeesh....that looks like it hurt."
Rhone crosses his arms and grins.
"I don't know what the hell you got into a fight with to get so banged up, but you're clearly still standing. You've more than earned my respect...Kai, was it?"
He extends his arm to Kai for a handshake.
Hunter, not sure what he's looking at, just scratches his head in confusion and mutters to himself.
"Must've gone somewhere above his level..."

"Ahah, sometimes," said Azriel in response to Sirea. "And, uh, for the record, it didn't at all." ^_^ When asked about the two newcomers, she glanced at Lilith and Kai and continued, "Actually, I haven't met them in my entire life until today." O_oLloyd held his chin and nodded at Lilith and Kai's initial answers. "I see. I'll take your word for it...I mean, if you've still got the nerve to come up to us like this after all that, I guess you've got nothing to hide." He smirked a bit, at that. He was also inwardly surprised to learn that those horns were real, but again, this wasn't the time to prod about that. "..." emotion_8c Azriel was a wee bit saddened at Rhone regarding himself as a freak, but was also a tad disapproving at his demand of Kai as she could kind of relate. What with having something she couldn't be too open with herself. "Y-yeah, I kinda agree with your, uh, friends there about the double-standard... Some people just need---" But at this point, it was too late; Kai agreed to reveal his appearance. Staring at the stitch on his visible arm with wide eyes, Azriel began to rub her own as if she could feel such a wound on her person too. "...ow." eek In a second, she realized she must've been rudely gawking, so she followed up with, "Oh, don't get me wrong, I'm not scared. I've seen worse." From the mindspace, Oscuro eyed Kai intently, rubbing her chin. "Hmm..." She noticed twinges of darkness surrounding him, which made her curious. After a moment, she removed her hand from her chin and started snapping her fingers. "...What am I being reminded of here, again...?"Lloyd was also gawking at Kai, but without realizing it might've been a pretty rude gesture. "I get what you mean, Azriel. That looks like it'd still hurt up to now. eek No offense, but...I'm surprised you're alive."

"He's not alive, he's been dead for ten years now." Lilith replied stepping closer to Kai
"if I may"
"I'd rather you not, but I suppose it would be better to get it out of the way..." Kai groaned
Lilith took a small knife out of her bag and cut the stitches around Kai's neck, causing his head to fall completely off; his body catching the falling head
"Im undead, so my limbs tend to fall off from time to time...as I said before please don't be afraid" the head said embarrassed
Lilith put the knife back and pulled out a small sewing kit.

"Oh dear.." :Whoah, whoah, WHAT THE F-""AWESOME!!!!"
"Awesome? His head's off!"
"Nah, it's just a flesh wound."
As Max and Hunter continue bickering, Rhone adjusts his hat and grins.
"Heh...well then...guess the thing you got in a fight with was death...and you won. Wish I'd had someone like you to give me a hand around 400 years ago...or hell, even just a few years back, now that I think about it."
He crosses his arms and looks at Lilith and Kai.
"Well, you two have introduced yourselves...I suppose I should introduce myself and my crew."
Max and Hunter stop fighting and their eyes seem to light up.
"You mean we're doing the official introduction?"
"Ugh...I hate the official introduction..."
"Well, too bad. Me and Hunter outnumbered you on the vote."
"You know it's awesome."
"...I'm going to kill you both for this."

Sirea smiled slightly when she heard Azriel's response. "Oh good. I would've felt bad if it did." ^.^; Her fox ears twitch within her hood when she heard Rhone telling Kai to remove his cloak, which was having her feel uncomfortable. And then he might tell me to remove mine as well. She thought to herself.
Rin glanced over to Eduardo. "Those guys said that we have caught their interest or something." He said with a shrug then he watched Kai remove his cloak. "Gadzooks!" eek "That really looked like it had to hurt."
Colette placed a hand to her mouth when she saw Kai. "Oh my..." She said with wide eyes. She then turned her attention to Lilith when she said that Kai has been dead for ten years. "He's...dead?"
"That's what I'm wondering as well." She said, wincing a bit from seeing Kai's appearance. "I mean how is he moving around and such if he's dead? It must be pretty painful for him to move around." Her eyes widen when Kai's head fell off after Lilith had cut the stitches around his neck. She tilts her head a bit when Kai explained that he's undead. "Well, that explains things." She said then shook her head. "I admit that seeing you like that does look really....painful, but I'm not afraid."
"I'm not afraid either, though that....that's just freaky." Rin said, scratching the back of his head. "Then again...we got some freaky looking people in this crowd. Myself included, of course." He grinned as the 'fuzzy belt' around his waist would unwrap on its own, turning out to be a feline tail. His feline ears perk up when he heard Rhone mention about introductions. "I think we should all introduce ourselves as well."
