Name: Jacen Reilly [Kraken]
Team: Omega
Location: Cissa’s Dorm

Narcissa’s invitation into her chambers felt oddly cheery and comfortable. Not to imply Cissa was incapable of cheer, but Jacen would have thought in light of recent events their fearless leader would be in a bit more of a mood.

He wasn’t complaining, though, as he bounded into and across the room, landing in the loveseat. Jacen pulled a leg up as he looked to Narcissa and her current subject. “Roland, you have some very interesting scars…” Jacen commented, watching the man in an odd form of fascination. The mop-headed Omega had his fair share of war wounds as well, but definitely nothing compared to Paladin’s. It made sense, they were both melee fighters, probably second best next to Kerrigan, and they’d both seen plenty of action. Jacen still couldn’t hold back a twinge of jealousy, as odd as it sounded. Where he came from, scars and wounds were symbols of honor, something to be cherished…

Maybe Demonic claw-marks and Laser Burns counted double or something.

And before the Paladin throws out things like ‘clothing optional’ he should consider the company he’s in. Jacen’s jacket was off in a flash, which pretty much left him just as naked as Roland, considering he dressed like a shoeless beach-bum. It was just a good thing that he left his shorts on. He’d probably have to wear underwear with this tux huh?

Whether or not Cissa would be happy with Jacen’s… less than clean jacket on her floor was something else entirely. ‘’

With general care-freeness he laced his fingers behind his head and watched Narcissa work. He had no clue how one went about taking measurements and the like, but he assumed the leader of the Omegas was especially decent at it.

“Join the Club.” Jacen yawned as Felix entered and asked if he was to be shirtless. Quickly, his short attention span led him away from watching the others- until Felix asked a certain question. Jacen’s ears perked up instantly as the newer Omega asked Narcissa to prom. Kraken’s legs criss-crossed over themselves ‘indian-style’ on the couch as he waited for Narcissa’s response, ever-present grin widened ever so slightly, on the highly unlikely chance this would cause Narcissa to show outward signs of discomfort.

Lounge -> Dorm room
Mood: Spaced

Dorian looked up and around, from a spot in the floor that he might have burned a hole into. He had totally spaced, and lost track of who he was paying attention to and what he was actually listening for. A portrait was still being done and the same people still around but his mind had completely blanked. He rubbed his forehead, then his eyes as he got up from where he was sitting in the lounge. User Image

He simply left, heading towards the door rooms. He looked ta his phone for the time before pocketing it. There was a sligth twinge of a headache he had that came out of no where. He wasn't sure why but they happened on occasion and it felt more or less like thinking too much caused it. He pushed it aside, and made his way to his assigned room and went in closing the door behind him and just falling into his bed with a small grunt. He turned over and stared at the ceiling. It was comfortable, tempting a nap but he needed to pull himself together.

(OOC: Sorry all... short summary, Father Kidney failure, blood was donated, tired and busy. Should be fine.)

User ImageShe frowned at Roland’s response… She hated when her team members made themselves out to be less than what they were. Be it through the usefulness of their abilities, or their appearance in general…She despised that particular type of self loathing. It was hypocritical of her…More than anyone would ever truly realize-- But they weren’t allowed to belittle themselves and decimate their own self esteem.

That was quite clearly her job.

“If that’s all you see…You’re not looking correctly, Roland.”, the sun goddess returned firmly, her tone filled with a layer of coldness—Sharp enough to cleave flesh from bone. Her golden head tilted, expression unreadable…It would be hard for him to understand exactly what she was thinking in that moment. Especially since she had a tendency to lean towards cryptic life lessons. “I’d tell you what I see… But then you’ll never form your own opinion. I suggest that you try again… And do it right, this time.”

A grin crossed his features that she hadn’t expect from him—And she shook her head slowly as she led their way out of the cafeteria, flaxen hair glinting in the fluorescent lights like liquid gold. He mentioned luck, and she smirked as she caught his eyes glimmer. “I did, love.”

He went on to say that the male population couldn’t control themselves, at least, that was what she got from the quip—And she couldn’t help but agree. Not like she would give him the satisfaction of knowing that. “And that would be -exactly- why men are the weaker sex.”

She paused for a moment outside of her shared dorm, seeming to consider what he’d said seriously for a moment—Before coquettishly fluttering eyelashes brought attention back to stunning electric blue eyes. “Fine then… But keep the drool, off my carpet.”

His admission that he had secrets to keep was just one more piece of information that she filed away for later. It could have been anything that was blacked out in the file…But his reluctance in telling her, only highlighted it’s importance to him. And if it was important to him… It was worth knowing. “The differences between us are vast and wide Roland… Aside from the obvious, I have bits and you have bolts issue—The main separation is in levels of experience. I’ve been doing this for a long time… And secrets on my team come back to bite me.”

“And not in a way that I like.”
, Narcissa informed casually, as if there weren’t some kind of thinly veiled threat. There always was… She should be regarded with all of the apprehension one would hold a ticking time bomb. His defiance was expected, commendable… But foolish. “And if it…Comes up on the field? Like how your bloodlust keeps coming up? I’ll throw you on the bench so hard that you’ll see stars for a week.”

She turned back towards him, coming to stand just a little closer than necessary…It was amazing how intimidating such a small woman could be. And compared to Roland, he nearly dwarfed her in size… “And if that happens…You’ll know exactly why. I can’t trust what I don’t know...”

Narcissa smiled then, continuing with her measurements, as if their conversation was very…Very different. Her temper was like the tide…Coming and going, but nor nearly as predictable. “Yes. I know those are the exact reasons you keep your secrets to yourself… But you trust me to make life and death calls for you on a regular basis. This isn’t any different.”

The conversation from that point took an entirely different turn…Away from the serious dynamic of captain and subordinate. She moved quietly, oddly appropriate with a nearly naked man in her dorm. If all of the rumors about her were true, then she should have been all over him the moment he crossed the threshold…Likely stealing his soul like a succubus. She didn’t blink at the scars…Didn’t question. She’d seen far more horrible things in her lifetimes…Enough that she barely noticed their presence. Being injured was common for their line of work. It was only Elixir’s healing ability that saved most of them the same fate… But even then, some wounds were deep enough that evidence remained.

Lucky for her, the ability she’d been blessed with eliminated scars after a period of time…She sloughed off skin cells and re-grew them far faster than the average human.

“Eleven and a half…”, she repeated with a sultry wink as she placed his hand on the end of the measuring tape—Holding it at his hip so she could measure his waist line. She moved around him in a circle…As gentle as she currently seemed…There was no way she was hugging any of her team members. Touchy feely really wasn’t her strong point. “Someone ate his vegetables.”

Jacen and Leion entered, and she shook her head when Roland told them clothing was optional. Hearing Leion’s statement about hoping all of the Omega guys were coming, she laughed darkly…It was touched with a tinge of secrecy—As if she knew something he didn’t. Truthfully, she could feel someone else coming down the hall already. “Be careful what you wish for.”

“Smart boy.”
, she commented with an almost feral grin, promising vengeance at the mere mention of treason. The Alpha’s could sport their team colors all on their own…She didn’t need her team doing it for them—Even if they were just lame enough, that they couldn’t do it on their own. “Red-Violet it is.”

Though black of course would likely predominate most of their outerwear… For some reason, Narcissa just couldn’t get behind a white tux. They made her skin crawl in a way that she didn’t at all find appealing… No. No white.

When Jacen commented on Roland’s scars—Narcissa paused, writing down a few numbers in the notebook she held. She hadn’t really…Seen them the first time around. They’d been there of course, but she’d been focused on taking correct measurements… Looking at the largest one across his chest, her eyes seemed to unfocus…It couldn’t have been easy to heal. Her voice came like a breeze in late December as she spoke unintentionally…“Deep scars.”

Likely deeper than anyone truly knew.

She was surprised at how readily her men seemed to want to strip down—Though perhaps she shouldn’t have been. Who knew that her want to outclass the Alpha’s could be a team building exercise? Catching Jacen’s jacket on the floor, her eye twitched…Kerrigan had generously let her decorate the room for the most part… And the carpet was an excessively plush white, with the fleur de lis in a pale gold pattern. “Pick -that- up.”

“Don't be a heathen. Hang it up—“, she gestured towards the standing coat rack…”And if you’ve scuffed my carpet, I’ll take it out of your hide in the next Danger Room session.”

And in walked the individual she’d felt coming a little bit earlier…Felix. It made sense that she hadn’t been sure entirely who it was because he wasn’t familiar to her yet. At least not enough for her to be able to recognize him at a distance. Everyone’s energy signature had a different flavor to it. Jacen reminded her of salty air over cold water… Leion, of a warm indistinct smell. Like the oven as it pre-heated… Felix reminded her of old fashioned shoe polish.

Slick.

“Doubtful.”, she responded automatically to his greeting, casting him a taunting smile when he asked if it was a private party… And if he should get join the shirtless. “Take off what you like… Except that if you get any bright ideas, be very aware that chestnuts will roast on an open fire.”

Her eyes rolled heavenward when the newcomer decided that his uniform needed to be shirtless… Did the boy truly have more muscle than brains? Uniforms were made to protect them…Not simply to be garish and ugly. Though she had to admit her own was quite flattering. “And why praytell—Would Aren care if your uniform contained a shirt or not?”

"Unless there's a closet you both need to hop out of."

Narcissa would have gone on to insinuate that perhaps it was Felix, that Aren had decided to ask to the Prom—But before she could get the words out, Dart was suddenly asking her to the dance…To something she really...Really didn't want to deal with. There was so much else going on...She felt it more practical that she be one of those watching the perimeter that night. She pretended not to hear him for a moment, making one last measurement on Roland—Before poking him lightly in the chest, adding a bit of a teasing, burning sting to it for good measure. “You’re done. Text your date for me and find out if she has a particular color in mind.”

She pointed at Jacen without looking, gesturing that he come forward and take Roland’s place. “You’re next, love.”

Tearing the page out of the notebook with Roland’s numbers on it, she set it down on her laptop…Picking up the tube of very red lipstick she’d been wearing. She took her time to reapply…Screwing the cap back on. Eventually she turned towards Felix—And when she did, she leaned up on her tip toes…Once again, the tiny girl in the room. Tugging his head down to meet her, she placed a kiss to his cheek—Deliberately leaving a perfect rose colored kiss mark. “You seem very… Enthused… Which is…Sweet—If you like that sort of thing.”

Which she didn't.

“But let’s face it… You’re obviously not man enough for me. It takes more than empty flattery and pretty words to take me out.”

She released him and headed back to Jacen, again methodically starting to measure him—Just as she had Roland.

“Now. If you want to try that again—And not sound like such a simpering bloody Alpha…Be my guest. Insult me again, and you won’t go to prom with eye candy on your arm…You’ll go without arms.”

There were two reason's she even...Considered going anywhere with this Omega. The first, being that he was safe...Not like other individuals, who would go unnamed... She felt no more draw to him than she felt to any of the other men in the room. Funny, that her dorm was filled with half naked men, and she had no interest... The second reason was due to what company she'd seen him keep.

He was guilty of willfully befriending Omega Kryptonite...Who would be just -so- excited, to see her with him at the dance.

Narcissa proved her existence of being human when she continued to call him a catch. Fact is he had to admit that he was attractive to somebody. The question is who in the world found him attractive. Apparently the girls here found him as such, but he had to wonder what they were fed as children. Clearly there was something in the water for that to be the case. Then again, Sonja saw something in him that he didn’t. But he wouldn’t let her know about that, something he doubted she’d understand. Considering the circumstances.

“If you remember my file, I didn’t exactly grow in an environment where my opinion, or any regard to my own physical appearance, mattered that much to others.” Dom practically didn’t give a s**t about him, he was lucky at times to hear a good night from him. It was usually a loud yell, “Get the ******** outta here you ugly b*****d!” followed by the occasional bottle being thrown at him. Those were the first scars he had, picking glass out of his shoulders. By the time he was old enough, he realized that the best idea would be to get the hell out of there long before he even said something.

Roland then quickly retorted to her comment about men being the weaker sex, “Women can be just as bad. The difference is that they try and deny themselves more. We accept and embrace our urges.” he had to admit that she was somewhat right. Were men weak? In some ways, but women were just as bad, “I’ll do my best with the carpet. Perhaps my shirt will be good for the task.” a joking grin dancing along his face.

He was seriously enjoying this back and forth.

When she got into the nitty gritty regarding his own demons in the closet he had to admit she was right. Secrets with team members could prove dangerous. Despite Roland’s admittance to her experience in this, he felt that some information he had could not be divulged. Frankly, the whole doppelganger thing just was NEVER going to be unveiled, or at least until he felt confident she wouldn’t burn him alive. And the fact that he had some issues, which could result in him getting benched, he had to give her that fact.

“Believe it or not, that bloodlust has helped keep me alive in cage matches when we were younger. It’s how I survived. And it’s getting under control, in my own way. You‘ll know more about that once I‘m confident in that.” “Noble” was, as far as Roland and Dr. Grey were concerned, proving to be a useful tool in managing his anger. The disparate persona in his crazy little brain would be useful.

Her comment to his eating vegetables elicited a chuckle from him, “I was a growing boy. I hit five foot when I was nine. I grew fast for my age.” She measured him with a meticulous degree, seeming to take his physical form in like an analysis of something rather than someone. Leion made a snaky comment about the clothing optional quip, and frankly he wasn’t too alarmed by him looking at him. People and their sexuality didn’t phase him at all. So he wasn’t bothered at all. Jacen on the other hand seemed to hold his scarred body in regard. He realized that the islander was likely raised in a culture from warriors, so a reaction like this is something he should expect. However, he figured it’d be better to give him an idea that this was not to be proud of. Looking to Narcissa, he noted that she was taking in his “work of art” as how he could joke about. Hearing her say something about deep scars, he had to agree.

“Deeper than you could ever know.”

Turning to his aquatic teammate, “Rewards of a misspent youth Jacen. I’ve been fighting since I was nine years old.” and he was right about that. He had been fighting for half of his life. Violence is what he grew up with, it was what he lived and breathed. He was not the type of person to revel in this. Granted, he could probably trade stories with Jacen, “Ever care to hear some stories, feel free to ask Jace.”

She placed a finger across his chest, a slight burning sensation on his chest, as she said that she was done, “Careful now, don’t want to leave another scar. Though feel free to leave some burns at another point if you like.” he began to throw on his clothes as he noticed something that nearly made him s**t a brick.

A picture of the woman he loved had fallen out of his pocket, nearly right in front of her. He thanked whatever god lived in the sky for letting the photo fall so it wasn’t visible. With a quick response, he grabbed the photo his right hand and quickly thrust it into his pocket. God knows what would happen if this picture got into his team leader’s hands.

Fiery flaming death would be within his future.

“I actually don’t have her number, though she has mine. I‘ll be getting a smoke, and likely wandering about.” he quickly added, right before another teammate came in. He identified him as Felix, their resident speed demon. And he did something that could described as possibly very brave, or very very stupid.

He asked her to Prom. Her response was initially one that was notably her traditional, the other half was not to be expected. She was considering say yes. Good for him, he hoped. He walked out of the room and popped a cigarette, ready to light it as he got his way to wander the mansion.

Name: Christian Spencer
Codename: Sidetrack
Team: Omegas
Location: Outside - Porch
Current: Surprisingly refreshing conversation

“Will they?,” Christian said, questioning Isabella’s comment about the nightmares. “I know a month is probably too soon to tell, but… it honestly seems like they get worse the more time passes.” When he said that, he sighed deeply, knowing full well that whatever issues he was having were slowly creeping to the forefront. The question was more than innocent though; the nightmares he had were occurring at an alarming rate and seemed to get more and more violent with each passing day. Sometimes, he wished he could just ask one of the resident telepaths to wipe his mind clean of those events, so he could be a good little soldier… so he could go back to being himself. He knew that line of thinking was wrong… and possibly even the less than moral Ms. Frost would take exception to those thoughts as well.

Whereas his expressions hardened slightly while thinking about the nightmares, it was only momentarily. The look on his face softened somewhat when she reached out and gently touched his shoulder. Why she did, he wouldn’t know or ask. He was surprised though that he didn’t outright pull away when she did. Contact with another person was something he had been avoiding since he was mauled a month ago.

Christian’s attentions were definitely caught when Isabella spoke of what her dreams were, what she perceived to be a normal life for her would be. He didn’t quite know the lass well enough to think it, but for whatever reason, her choice of lifestyle did not surprise him in the least.

“Ma’am, in all honesty, I think that life you want is still attainable, MRA or not,” Christian said nonchalantly. “I mean… I’ve seen Dr. McCoy and Mr. Wagner walkin’ around here looking more normal than even myself. So… bogus legislation or not, there’s still a chance.” He only could offer a shrug after saying that. Somehow, he had a feeling that someone like Isabella would loathe to live a life of pretense, even though no one could or would ever guess that she was a mutant. Heck, by his estimation, there were only a very scant few that he’d trained or served with that could outwardly be called mutants.

“Y’know… I’ve been givin’ some thought on what I’d do if I never got picked up by Mr. Summers all those years ago,” Christian said, shifting the conversation a bit. “And I’m not sure what I’d be doin’ if I never came out East.” He did know one thing; he’d still be helping his family out, even with his parents return back to the West Coast. For as standoffish as he was, there was one solid constant in his life and that was his family.

"Maybe I’d get into law enforcement. Maybe military life. Who knows?” Again, he shrugged after saying that. He’d kind of made it a habit to ‘stick up for the little guy’ as it was. Christian could not quite keep track of how many buttkickings he took standing up to the schoolyard bullies… and that’s not mentioning how many times he took a licking because he was trying to protect his sister. Perhaps, if he ever had the chance to get away from Institute life for an extended amount of time, that’d be worth looking in to.

He smiled wide when she seemed genuinely flattered by what he had said. It was definitely easy for him to say, because he fully meant it. It seemed that his tenure with the junior squads had him wind up under Isabella’s leadership more often than not… despite the fact that he was a card-carrying Omega. In that time though, he’d gotten to see the woman operate on the field and witnessed how she treated her troops. His memories drifted back to that antechamber in Belasco’s castle shortly after his hand was injured by those demons. And she took the time, which wasn’t much at all, to ensure that the bleeding was stopped and he was still operational. She cared that much about someone’s well-being, someone she hardly knew and someone of the opposite side of the coin… that showed him exactly what kind of person she was. At least to him. His admission of holding respect for her obviously went hand-in-hand with that.

Christian could only hold an aloof grin on his face when Isabella mentioned she held respect for him as well. Quizzically, he raised an eyebrow at that notion and looked her dead in the eye. She respected him? Why? What did he do to earn respect from one of the squad leaders? “Thank you, ma’am,” he said, his voice trailing off slightly, “I honestly don’t know if I’ve done anythin’ to rightly deserve it. But it is… definitely a nice change of pace to hear that from one of the team leaders.”

After his voice trailed off, another silence hung between the two momentarily, Christian’s thoughts drifting off again. This time, he was thinking about all of his old friends that he’d met just by being here at the academy. And out of the three really close friends he had made, only one remained… one who was still on the other side of the Alpha/Omega coin. “Y’know…,” Christian said, questioning things aloud, “I wonder why I wound up on the Omegas and not the Alphas. Not that I had much say in it or anythin’.” He sighed again, mostly at the very public musing he was making. “But I also know there ain’t no turnin’ back. Just gotta play what cards yer dealt. Right?”

Name: Leonardo Rossi
Team: Alphas
Location: Lake - Mansion
Prom Dealings… How High Maintenance…

User Image
Tara laid out her terms and conditions, which seemed reasonable. Leonardo wasn’t the type to force himself onto someone, much less someone he hardly knew. Truth be told, he didn’t know that much about Tara personally. Sure, they had been together during the Halloween incident, and chatted up before… but where was she from? What sort of things did she like? Again, Leo wasn’t really thinking of pursuing a relationship with the earth-mover, but still… he was taking her to prom. It would be nice to know her a bit better before showing up with her on the dance floor.

She left, giving a slight wave of the hand during her departure. “Don’t worry, I’ll let you know,” he called after her, only turning his head briefly in her direction to make sure the sound reached her ears.

The question still remained… where was he going to buy a tuxedo? He didn’t own one… not even from home in Montana. All of his SHIELD belongings were understandably gone from him. Buying one didn’t seem to be an option, since transportation off of the campus was restricted… and there was the off chance that he might be recognized by the media or the police. That wouldn’t be good. Maybe one of the professors had an extra tuxedo he could borrow? Let’s see… which of them was his size? Warren? No… there would be gaping holes in the backs. McCoy was a no… maybe Scott. Scott was a bit taller than Leo, but there was probably something that would fit him.

Either way, he’d find something to wear; no doubt.

Finally deciding to get up off of the ground, Leo stretched his arms behind his back, letting the endorphins run to his head before releasing them, sighing and standing up to full height. He rotated his right arm a few times in a windmill motion as if he was throwing a baseball. Briefly, he took a peek at his left wrist and rotated that as well… there was a faint clicking sound that resonated from it. He only guessed that it would stay like that forever. His leg didn’t bother him anymore… it was just sore on select mornings. There was also a slight twinge of discomfort sometimes on runs, but considering that it was a re-grown limb, it performed well. Like new, almost.

Leo started to make his way back to the mansion, humming the tune to ‘Sunday Morning’ by Maroon 5 on the way. His spirits had been lifted by Tara and Bella substantially… a great weight had been lifted from his shoulders. Now he didn’t feel completely and wholly responsible for the mall riot. Which reminded him… he needed to find Aurelie. He had only seen her once after the incident… and she was unconscious for that, so it didn’t really count. And while he was at it, he might as well find Reggie and Katarina. There were things he needed to explain to them, too… like how he wasn’t in SHIELD anymore… and that they should probably keep his past involvement with the agency a secret.

Finding his way approaching the porch, he spotted Bella with another man who had been at the mall, Christian. He had been torn up the most, he had heard. Gutted, or something like that. Leo got a small sympathy pain in his stomach just thinking about it. It was good to see him recovered.

“Christian, right?” Leonardo asked, hoping that he didn’t interrupt the conversation. In actuality, Leo knew the man’s name was Christian, but stated it as a question in order to not make himself look like some weirdo who had memorized everyone’s name… even though he pretty much did that. “It’s good to see you out of a cot and into the open,” Leo smiled, leaning against the porch railing. “Not many people would have pulled through what happened to you. Probably not even me.”

Turning his head to Bella, he asked, “Hey Bells, would you happen to know where Aurelie, Reggie, and Katarina are?” There wasn’t really a sense of urgency in his voice, but rather a curious tone etched into the way he spoke.

"A lil cabbage patch here and there always gets the crowd going." Dimitri joked. "But im sure you're better than me though and if you're not you can always steal some moves."There was nothing wrong with stealing dances moves. Especially when the robber made the dances looked more cool and nooone was getting arrested that night. When it came to it Dimitri knew how to dance on the floor, or at least, make it seem like he knew what he was doing with his body during the process. Whether it was doing the bankhead bounce or some popping and freezing.

Everybody liked popping and freezing.

"And since its a dance i'm sure they'll have the electric side somewhere in the music library." Dimitri assured Daylia, just in case she couldn't steal any moves on the dancefloor or if everyone just sucked in general. He was even nice to chant the lyrics that went along with the electric slide, just in case Daylia thought the electric side was something Raine did in the halls in tube socks. Plus the lyrics were too Alpha(pun intended?).

"Sliide to the left. Bamp! Sliide to the right. Bamp! Cha Cha Ya'll."

Dimitri then proceeded to do his version of cha cha'in, which was mini shoulder bounces, keeping his closed hands together while doing so. One had to improvise when they were sitting down doing the cha cha. All he would give in response is a cheeky smile and a laugh in the end.

"You don't have to worry about making me look bad. Im wearing bunny slippers so pratically anything is okay with me haha." Just in case Daylia wanted a sneak peek at the hares she was welcome to do so while Dimitri tilted his feet up and down; the closest thing the bunnies were close to talking. She joked about how she'll be turned into a crisp from her omega leader; if Dimitri knew her more and was around he would take her word for it if she didn't go up to her room. "Well if you get put on fire just stop drop and roll..I'll toss some gasoline on you to kill the flames." he jested.

Dimitri liked that Daylia was okay with watching some movies if things began to get weak. When she said that part of him just wanted to skip to watching movies with her; get some one-on-one time. It looked liked he was gonna have to bet on red and blue on this one; red representing that the prom would be a fun experience and blue representing that prom crashes and plan b would go into effect. As for a plan beforehand Dimtiri's answer would have been the mall...key word, mall. Unfortunately his roomate and another teammate of his not too far from his location kinda made that impossible. Seriously, the one with perhaps the most experience when it came to espionage, couldn't even pick the red heels from the blue heels? Luckily Dimitri was too laid back and woudl just joke about it if Leo decided to open up to the Playboy.

"We can get some food maybe an hour of so before prom." he suggested "You know? Just something to hold us over till prom is done since they think cookies, punch and strawberries is equal to a vegas buffet."

Waiting for her response or an alternative, another girl creeped into their conversation, asking if the prom was mandatory. But before both of them could answer, another one of his Alpha members answered that questioned for her, but was curious herself just in case. "Nah, as far as i know prom's optional. If it turns mandatory though prom will officially be weak. But you guys aren't going? If so then why not? No dates?"

Daylia nearly regretted asking about the dancing immediately. She could hardly believe he actually said ’Get jiggy with it’ She closed her eyes and shook her head. Though of course from there it didn’t get any better. Cabbage patch? A small smile broke out on her face as she placed her head into her hands. "Wow." It was all she could say. God what had she gotten herself into? Already she knew it would be… Interesting to say the least. Though if it would be a good thing or not was still up in the air.

Daylia looked back up to Dimitri as he mentioned one of those follow the lyrics songs. It didn’t sound any better than the chicken dance. Heaven forbid if she got sucked into that one. She opened her mouth to say something, but before she could, he began to sing the lyrics, and even shimmy along with them. Again she could do little more than close her eyes.
"Wow, all I can say is, wow." She chuckled with him. "I really hope I can stay away from something like that. No offence of course." At least he didn’t mention slow dancing or something like that. "I just don’t think I could bring myself to follow the instructions of a dance that is actually in the song."

The Omega couldn’t help but smirk at the comment about his slippers.
"Yeah, how I wish I could wear something like that, but no, I’ll probably have to settle for heels. The most uncomfortable things in the world." She shook her head again. "Really no? Just gasoline? No piss?" She asked as she perked a brow. "I see how you feel about me." She sat back in her chair again, this time folding her arms over her chest, doing her best to give him a disapproving look.

"Awesome. Dinner sounds super, expecially if that’s all they will have there. Not much to nibble on." She had been expecting something more. Not steak or anything, but at least some of those too cute to eat finger sandwiches or even a pasta something or other. "Well, you can pick the place. I don’t care, and will pretty much eat anything." And it was true. Daylia liked food, all kinds of food. Again, it was a wonder that she didn’t weigh 400 pounds.

Daylia turned as she heard someone say her name.
"Yeah that’s me." She said before someone answered the next question about prom. Her brow rose slightly towards the blond that had spoken before turning back to Hoshi. "I don’t know why it would be mandatory. That would seem a little silly. But then again, this school is odd." She said with a shrug before turning back to Dimitri. He had asked them a few questions of his own, though of course, who would want to say they weren’t going because they didn’t have a date? Oh right, she had said something like that earlier.

Daylia pushed herself away from the table and stood, taking her tray in her hands.
"Well, I better go see Cissa before it’s too late. I’ll catch you later." She said giving Dimitri a nod before doing the same to the two ladies that had addressed them. "Ladies, I hope you change your minds about going, at least to see Dimitri pull off the cabbage patch if for nothing else." She said with a grin as she glanced back at Dimitri before making her departure.

Daylia had left the cafeteria after dropping off her tray and headed to the girls dorm rooms in search of Narcissa’s. It didn’t take long to find it, and there was another one of their team members already leaving. So it was going to be boys and girls. She closed her eyes and sighed before continuing on.
"Hey." She said in greeting to Roland. "She set anyone on fire yet?" She couldn’t help but ask the question. Roland looked slightly worried or possibly unnerved. Or of course Daylia could have been mistaken, though hopefully it didn’t have anything to do with Narcissa’s temper.

Daylia had turned around as she passed Roland, walking backwards. She didn’t want to seem rude after asking a question, but she also didn’t want to stop on her way to see the red queen. She knocked on Narcissa’s door before cracking it slightly, not wanting to be intrusive, but also wanting the blonde to hear her.
"Got time for another?" She asked. Of course she wasn’t just going to barge in, that again would be rude, so she waited for a response from within.

Name: Brown, Farren Brown but you may call me Mother Nature

Location: Lounge

Snarky Remark: "Remember those good old days, you know, before we went evil?" "Yeah, good times." "I said before, not when." "Oh, man, those were the pits."

╘════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╛

User ImageFarren's heart soared in excitement when one of the Alpha's mentioned Isabella. The song-tress still kept the Institute as her stomping grounds and that fact lifted the uneasiness that had settled in the pit of the floramancer's stomach since she had met with Scott & Emma earlier in the day. Now the only real question Farren was interested in getting answer was the whereabouts of Teagan.

Farren nodded at Lillian's explanation of the energy rolling off of her in waves then dropped her hand back to her side. She remembered what it felt like when Rogue had tapped her a few years back and the floramancer wasn't up to experiencing that void again, that feeling of losing herself so intrusively, be it accidental or otherwise. So the source she should be scouting for was Narcissa, Farren's command leader as of today. Things were looking up if the Omega's were led by an ambient energy weilder. Oh happy day.

"You're spot on. I'm a greenery manipulator, basically Mother Nature incarnate." She nodded at the others as she formally introduced herself, forcing herself to keep her face clear of emotion when her eyes landed to Rob. She didn't know him, shouldn't project the malice she held deep inside towards the pyro. He wasn't the one who branded her as the mutant she was, wasn't behind the razing of the outposts in Limbo. As far as she knew, Rob wasn't evil. She was at the Institute again, and he deserved the benefit of the doubt, especially if he was on Isabella's team.

For a moment, Farren's heart clenched, but then she breathed through the tightness in her chest. Realistically she wouldn't be able to serve under the song-tress, along side of her was manageable and what the two did well. So it was a small bit of wisdom for the PTB to assign the floramancer to the other team. She just hoped the two would see each other sooner rather than later. There was so much catching up to be done.

"How long has you guys been at the mansion? It feels like ages since I left and I haven't ran into any of my old crew. You see, I started out under Evie's care on the New Mutants team." Even now, remembering her early days on the student based team, brought a small smile to Farren's face. So many good memories, strong friendships established before it all proverbially went to hell in a hand-basket. Before Apocalypse arrived and she embraced her dark side. Before the distrust from the others came to full light. Her hand reached up of its own accord to brush the physical and permanent reminder she possessed at the base of her neck, reminder of how deep the distrust ran.

"Is Teagan still around, do any of you know? Her, Isabella, and I were pretty close, back in the day." Even as the words passed her lips, Farren felt rather silly. Like one of the those middle-aged creepy dudes who spent all their days at a bar, with nothing better to do than reminisce on the 'good ole days' to anyone who would listen, and anyone who wouldn't.

"At least I've chosen a side."

Bianca gave Aurelie a small smile as the blond mentioned it being big to her. "Thanks..." It was clear that Aurelie didn't want to talk about what she had done or why she had done it so the moment the blond answered in the manner in which she had Bianca nodded. "I understand." The umbrakinetic hoped that it was clear she was willing to drop the subject considering the telekinetic clearly didn't like the attention surrounding the bomb. Personally Bianca probably wouldn't have considered that one a win either if it had been her handling the bomb. She didn't even consider her fighting with Toad a win either.

Aurelie then chose to thank her for allowing her to have some privacy before further saying that the raven haired girl was welcome at her bedside at anytime should she ever land in there again. "Okay I will visit you if you end up in there again though I am with you on hoping you don't." As the blond mentioned everyone that had visited her the first few days Bianca nodded knowing that she likely would have been just as overwhelmed. "It does sound like a little much. Why would they bring your homework by anyway? Surely they didn't expect you to actually get very much of it done? You did almost die after all." Shouldn't they have just given her like a pass or something until she was better?

Bianca smiled as Aurelie mentioned her nurse and what she had been in a past life. "A few of them did seem a little nun-like didn't they?" Nodding as the telekinetic mentioned being very tired when everyone decided to bombard her Bianca continued. "I can imagine. Sometimes people have the worst sense of when they should visit or not. It's why I tend to just check up on people instead of visiting to avoid overwhelming people." It was sometimes best to not say anything at all after all and Bianca tended to stick to that not wanting to bother someone needlessly.

Aurelie agreed with her about what Bella thought and despite feeling like Aurelie probably had more to say on the subject she didn't so Bianca let it drop. No sense in dwelling on depressing things. The umbrakinetic nodded as Aurelie made the comment about it being a happy day considering it was her first day out of the ward. The blond then made some gestures to make it seem like the place was for crazy people causing Bianca to smile faintly. Hearing Aurelie speaking again Bianca sighed. "Yeah we really shouldn't have dwelled on what could have been or even should have been..." Trailing off Bianca looked to the side.

Bianca let out a small laugh at what Aurelie had to say concerning the frog incident Bianca had as a child ."I would have shrieked like a banshee had the thing landed on me." As the subject turned to dissecting Bianca couldn't help, but agree with the blond. "Yeah I don't know why they make us do something like that. I fail to see how knowing what the inside of a worm or frog looks like could possibly help me in life." Shrugging afterwards she gave the blond her attention again.

The conversation moved again and as Aurelie commented on Aren the umbrakinetic nodded again. "I can imagine." Bianca was sure that were she to meet him and he made such jokes she would be blushing a lot. She didn't do very well with such jokes after all. With the topic turning to prom and seeing if Bella had a dress Bianca gave a faint nod. Bella probably did have appropriate dresses. "She would probably let both of us look if she was asked..." Trailing off Aurelie seemed keen on her going and Bianca was silently thankful that at least someone seemed to want her to go. Maybe going with a friend didn't sound that bad.

"Maybe..." As she spoke her phone went off and after holding up a finger to let Aurelie know it would just be a second looked at the message.After reading she got a small tinge of pink that crawled into her cheeks. Had Bella been listening to everything they said? Fingers moving quickly over the keys she sent something back to her. 'Thanks we might have to take you up on that.' Turning to Aurelie she decided to relay the message. "It seems Bella is completely fine with us raiding her clothes for dresses if we want to."

Hearing Aurelie comment on what her dresses tended to be Bianca gave a small shrug. "I dunno mine seems to be pretty mixed. I don't really know if I have any dresses that are prom appropriate." Hearing Aurelie's offer to crash prom with her near the end Bianca smiled. "That sounds like it could be fun." Hearing Lillian's greeting Bianca smiled. Aurelie began to converse and Bianca fell silent letting them talk. That is until Aurelie asked Rob about prom and then hinted to knowing someone that needed a date. Going red instantly Bianca looked at Aurelie with slightly wide eyes silently pleading her not to do what it was she was planning.

Rob admitted to forgetting about prom and Bianca hoped Aurelie didn't mention her. She wouldn't be a very good date after all. The green haired woman's question received a response from Lillian and Bianca silently thought her powers sounded very very useful. Lillian then chose to ask everyone else about their powers and after Farren and Rob spoke of theirs Bianca cleared her throat. "I am an umbrakinetic. I manipulate darkness..." Hearing Farren ask some more questions Bianca shrugged. "I have been here for at least a year or two." At the other questions Bianca didn't know the answers to them so she didn't mention them.

(OutOfChocolate: If anything or anybody was missed shoot me a pm.)

User ImagexxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxOmega - library

The native's brows climbed on his forehead when Raine mentioned that the girls, no matter which team they were on, were attractive. It was a mostly true statement, but Aren could think of a few that just didn't quite meet his fancy... but he'd never be so rude as to say it out loud – while he'd been raised on a land of savagery, his mother had instilled some sort of respect in him. He'd keep the opinion to himself, even if she wasn't here to whop him in the head for straying. The phantasms of when she had were enough to keep him on the straight and narrow – most of the time, at least. “We aren't in shortage of pretty ladies, that's for sure.” He mused, smiling as his eyes fell to Raine, as if to emphasize that very point.

She made a good example of just what he'd been saying.

It's almost enough to make me not want to go back to the rez when I'm done with school here.” He joked, never dreaming that he'd ever stay with the X-men beyond getting a basic grasp of his mutation. Aren Aquene belonged in Montana, the way the sun belonged in the sky during the day.

Casually, the Montana native suggested that Raine could potentially get the scoop of which girls were still available, and she agreed enthusiastically to do so, making this all the easier. “See? This is just perfect.” The size shifter remarked, still trying to compile a list of names for the newer Omega. Though, the mention of him being all “spruced” up elicited a small chuckle from him and quickly caused his attention to drop; he had, never in his life, taken to putting on a suit. “Me too, actually. It will be interesting to see if the barbarian in me cleans up well.

Maybe he should talk to Cissa about that suit after all... Even if he had doubts that she'd help him upon discovering her hunch about who he was taking to prom had been dead on; she'd never particularly cared for the spark-plug brunette. Why exactly, other than the fact that the girl was an Alpha... Aren really couldn't be sure. But he knew the Omega leader well enough to know, that sometimes all it took was sporting black and blue for her to garner some distaste.

Another smile pronounced the dimples on either side of his mouth when Raine dished on the color, already imagining what the dress might look like. “Red... I'm pretty sure I can work with that.” He teased, his mind shifting to what flowers would work best with that color. “And I'd hope waffles were involved, I fell in lust with you after that first bite.” Aren said, ever smooth as molasses; he returned her wink with one of his own. Though the truth of the statement was there, hidden underneath his gentle prodding. The native had found her very interesting and sweet – a relief from the tension that had built up between Shandra and himself.. Napi, that was still awkward to even think about.

Unable to help himself, the native chortled at Felix's good humor when he mentioned that he required a change in uniform – in some ways they were just alike: funny, mutants, Omegas, but most importantly, very self-assured. (He preferred that description to conceited.) “When you petition for the uniform change, let her know I feel I should be extended the same privilege.” Especially since he was accustomed to going shirtless at home anyways. Never before had he even considered that it might have been unorthodox to do so... Most of the men at home preferred to be free of a shirt... and normally wished that women shared the same inhibition. ”I think I once caught ki'somma staring long enough at my abs that I was tempted to wipe the drool from the corner of her lips.” Aren stated loftily, chocolate eyes melting with his amusement. ”She likes men in leather... between the two of us, I think she'll go a bit batty.” Not really, but he liked to pretend as though he had that effect on her.

“It'd be unfortunate to have it separated from the rest of you....” His hands went up to cover Raine's ears, as though to protect her and staged a whisper. “The way I see it, Napi gave me two heads, all the better to use both to think when the other gets tired.” He nodded then, agreeing with his own assessment before Felix departed in search of a prom date. “Good luck!” Aren called out, probably a bit too loudly for where they were standing.

Is there anywhere in particular you'd like to eat, that's been dubbed safe by the administration, or should we embark on cooking a meal ourselves?” It was a little known fact, but he did have a few skills in the kitchen. While he'd never be the next top chef, Aren's mother had cooked every evening... and with just boys in her family, she'd made an effort to teach them the basics.

Mostly authentic Siksika recipes... But he could make a few pasta dishes as well – the food network at three in the morning always proved to be interesting. “Or, I could just eat your waffles... and we'll get you fruit toppings.” Another laugh indicated that he'd meant for the remark to be ambiguous, something he had managed to make an art of since coming to the academy.

It's up to you, really... I'm a male, who tends to eat whatever is available instead of opting to be picky.

Aria let out a hysterical laugh, knowing that her friend didn't realize what she just said. "Oh please! Like I would want them straight! The crooked ones are much more fun!" Her laugh continued and she rolled backwards, finding her own joke quite hilarious. Although, it could easily be mistaken that she was batshit crazy. Either way, Aria didn't really care.

Aria had stopped speaking when Quinn began speaking again. "Yes, seriously. I have no problem asking him, and if he has a date..." She smiled and winked now, "I can take care of that." She let out a groan as the girl began speaking. "Oh, please. It's prom. We don't even know half the people going, what does it matter? Not like you two are going to go have crazy sex in one of the bathrooms and get preggo. Well, who knows." She smiled and laughed again.

while Quinn fumbled in her bag for her comm unit Aria picked her's off of her lap, where she had placed it. "Well. Looks like that's settled, and it seems to be a good time to see if anyone else is free for me, and Mister Hot Southern Boy is there." She giggled and stood up, placing a single iPod bud in one of her ears and sliding the iPod into a pocket after turning it on and the volume down so she could hear Quinn. "Let's go." He placed her com unit in the other pocket and hoped it wouldn't fall out and walked out of the room, waiting outside for her friend. She was going through with this, or she would be carried there over Aria's shoulder.

~~~~~~~~~~~~
As the duo neared the bedroom of their leader she slowed down, she had asked someone for directions on the way here. She knew, of course, where it was... or at least the area of it. She was kinda bad with places. She walked up in time to catch another girl (Daylia) at the door. "Make that room for three! Two fresh meats here for the slaughter, just be careful of my partner she could melt you." Aria was naturally not nervous at all, what was the worse that could happen? She would get lasered by a giant death beam of sun energy? Didn't sound too bad, could be slowly diced up and eaten. Now that could be quite terrible.
She stood with the new girl and turned to smiled, "Hey, is it true she burned someone for simply glaring at her? Heard the rumor, and honestly that'd be kinda bad a**." The words weren't really whispered, because honestly she didn't care. "Oh, I'm Aria by the way, and the silent but deadly one here is Quinn" She gave Quinn a gentle smile before turning back to the girl.
All Aria had to do was get through this without throwing a punch at one of her comrades, easy enough right? As long as non of the men decided to hit on her, well at least the cheesy pick up lines, she could deal. Now, if one of them gave her a Harry Potter pick up line? Well, that's another story.
Objectable Obelisk Concurs: Added a bunch at the end so we're there...
User ImageShe found herself nodding her head in agreement when Lillian stated that it was a pleasure to make their acquaintance; it was easy to say the same when the girl seemed so upbeat. Rob had sauntered up just after Bianca had asked what Lillian's power was, but it was seemingly forgotten just for the moment as she greeted the pyrokinetic – happy to see him outside of the infirmary.
Much to her relief, he glossed over the incident that had landed to so many people in the hospital wing, and Aurelie released a breath, unaware until that point that she'd been holding it at all. She extended a smile to him, “I can imagine... you were always running around akin to a chicken with its head cut off.” The blond teased, wrinkling her nose with humor. “It'll be good to relax for a bit.” At least for him, she on the other hand, would happily be spending her time doing whatever didn't resemble laying up in a bed, strapped to IVs and such.
Admittedly, the idea that her teachers had been so prompt to give her the classwork, recordings of the lectures, and the assignments that she would need to email in before returning to class seemed a little rigid. She'd not thought too much of it; fast tracking pharmacy left little room for error... and getting too far behind would be a nightmare to catch up. So she smiled, shrugging her shoulders to dismiss any ill will Bianca might have otherwise felt towards the blond's professors. “When you put it that way...” The young woman said with a slight snicker, one to cover the shudder that passed down her spine when her friend pointed out that she'd nearly died. ”They could have allowed me the time off... but eventually I grew bored enough to get it all done anyway.” And she'd be just a few lessons ahead when she returned to her classes in the next week. They'd given her lessons in advance when they didn't have a release date for her clear bill of health.
More giggles bubbled out of her when the umbrakinetic agreed with the description of the nurses being more suited to a convent. “Maybe we'll get them habits for Christmas this year.” She joked, though finding that the idea had merit. No doubt they'd miss the humor in the gift... What was that old adage, “it was the thought that counts?” Somehow, Aurelie didn't think that it would apply; someone would take offense..
Later, the common subject of prom was breached, and it had set the gears in her head to work – trying to figure out just who would be best as a date for her dark haired friend. Both girls had stated that they weren't sure if they had any dresses that would be suited to the night – a problem considering neither were inclined to go to the mall. Not that it bothered the telekinetic too much; Dom had asked her to stay in, and she was more than happy to do so.
Slyly, she'd segued into fishing a date for Bianca... and Rob fell directly into her trap. Perfect. “Oh really?” She asked coyly, only her sapphire eyes giving away her intentions before she spoke. “See... this lovely lady here has found herself without a date for the evening... And seeing as you don't have a date as of yet either... maybe you guys should go together; I'm sure it'll be a lot of fun.” She'd worded it perfectly; who could say no to that innocent of a suggestion? And with Bella inviting them to raid her closet – something that Aurelie didn't really have intentions to do unless she spoke with her about more pressing matters – everything was going to fall exactly in its place.
Farren had tapped the copycat's power, and it was then that they circled back to Bianca's original question – she was a mutation mimic. Interesting. “Makes sense... I'd doubt that it'd be pleasant to brush shoulders with people in the hall constantly and switch powers like a kid messing with the lights.” Aurelie mused, her head tilted in contemplation.
Lillian extended the same inquiry back to them, and Aurelie was silent as everyone divulged into what their mutation did, deciding to answer last. “I'm a telekinetic specializing in transvection, currently.” Meaning, she still had so much to learn... considering her power was so versatile and could be used for more than levitating things.
The floramancer seemed to sparkle to life at the mention of Bella, and asked questions that few here would know. Despite her time spent on the campus, the telekinetic only barely recognized the New Mutants team name, but couldn't place Evelyn or Teagan... Really she'd not spent too much time fraternizing with the other students outside of her team. Leaving Julliard had left her in a place in her life, where she'd not wanted to be around other people for a long time. It'd been draining... but anyone with ears would have heard the team names... especially after she'd been put on one.
Sorry.. I don't recognize the names... but maybe Bella would be able to tell you more about them?” She asked, tilting her head enough that she had to push back her blond hair, a particular lock always seemed to want obstruct her vision.
"Let me believe it's not me. Not my eyes, that you see. I've only just begun... I can be anyone."
Katarina exhaled slowly…Realizing almost at the exact same time as Gideon did, that much of what they discussed they weren’t likely to agree on. While he was more like her than any other at the Xavier Compound…He couldn’t have been further away. They would simply have to agree to disagree.
The conversation shifted, and she merely listened as he spoke. He was honest with her, brutally so, when he explained that a pack mentality wasn’t something for him…Katarina wished that she had been so lucky. Having family, no matter how they were brought to her, made it so that the Contessa always had bargaining chips…Katarina, by running away, had everything to lose.
It took her much too long to realize that the woman wouldn’t destroy her shifters and were’s to find her…They much too valuable, especially with her absence. But no one that she knew of in the facility in Rome could shift as well as she could. Not to both man, and creature forms…Not so often, and not so well. So she would need everyone left over from her circle just to get by…
Gideon agreed that they couldn’t change one another instantly, that they couldn’t help what they were…And some of the burden seemed to slide from her shoulders. To know that there were others with lives full of death and destruction that didn’t want them. She couldn’t say that they were filled with fear… Because Katarina didn’t fear, the Contessa. Didn’t fear H.Y.D.R.A….Not in appropriate levels. She was confident that she could keep cutting down the agents that were sent after her… But how long did she want to keep running. Forever?
He was right in thinking that she didn’t like to discuss the Contessa… She could remember marveling over the woman as a child, no matter her cruelty. She was beautiful. Powerful, and strong. Katarina had wanted to be just like her for so long…That finding out the truth had broken something within her. Something that couldn’t be repaired. The same something that drove her from Rome like the hounds of hell were nipping at her heals.
Her gunmetal blue eyes remained on his when she brought up his…Woman, for lack of a better term. She had to be…To change such a creature so completely…He didn’t respond, and that was answer enough for her. The invisible threat lingered in the air, that if she caused harm to the little Latina, that he would sever her head clean from her shoulders. Or worse things…Things that would let her life linger, in torment.
Katarina found the unspoken threat acceptable.
“So you do know what it’s like then…To have something to lose.”, she murmured, her voice no more than whisper to anyone else… But she knew Gideon had hearing that was better than average. He would hear…Though he may not understand. For all she knew he could take it as a threat…Though it was anything but.
Katarina had tried to escape the Academy, on more than one occasion… But each time, she’d been shut down by one of the telepaths. It was almost as if they kept tabs on her. Had Gideon always been perfectly accepted at the school? Or had he lived under the eyes of unending scrutiny as well?
Her darker thoughts cleared when Gideon agreed to run with her. It had been so long since she’d had someone to run with…Who understood the wild, and the human that she hid within the animal form that she took. Even if Gideon couldn’t shift…Somehow, he counted as beast enough on her radar.
She asked him to run with her for several reasons…Some related to protection—Others, completely unrelated. Sliding to her feet, she followed him when he bid they go with a coordinated grace…She walked to his left, because she was right handed. Old habits died hard. His comm started chirping as she mentally decided which creature she wanted to be… A black panther was her treasured favorite. Sleek, and fast.
"Don't be sad when I run circles around you, Gideon."
So she went with her gut instinct, choosing the quick creature… When she wanted to intimidate someone, she often chose one of many forms of tiger…Siberian was no doubt a favorite. Roars from animals that size tended to make grown men went themselves. She had a feeling that she would need all the speed she could get to keep up with X-20.
They exited the building, and she let her body shift…Just as it had in the mall. It wasn’t pretty. The human body was clearly never meant to be anything buy human…Unless God had a very odd sense of humor. She dropped down as her spine lengthened, her legs shortening—Landing on full formed paws with retractable claws. Fur bloomed across her form, blurring and shifting like an oil painting… Sooner rather than later, she became a dark, large feline beast.
As always, she had to meet the animal mind… And then let it slide beneath her own. She couldn’t ignore it… She needed the animals instincts, to be the animal. Katarina moved forward and brushed her flank against Gideon’s thigh—Before taking off at a rapid clip towards the woods and lake. The notion was easy to understand, though she could not speak as a human, while in animal form.
Wandering about, and into others...
Roland came out into the hall quickly, his thoughts rushing with the notion that Narcissa witnessed his quick actions to get the picture. Panic had begun to bite in the back of his mind, his heart pounding like a drum. He couldn't let her see that photo, he was lucky that no one else had seen it. It was a surprise Aren hadn't seen the damn photo. He couldn't bear to imagine what the consequences of his leader seeing that photo would bring on him. Likely a lot of pain, and a lot of fury on her part. He wasn't ready to deal with that just yet.
He was brought to a start when Daylia said hello to him, he smiled and calmed down a bit more, "Hey. And as far as I know she hasn't. Though she did leave a little burn on my person." he answered her question quickly, fumbling the cigarette in his mouth.
"There should be plenty of room for you, but you may want to prepare yourself. Jacen is lacking much in the clothing department at the moment. For measuring purposes." he quickly added, felt that warning her would be a good thing to do for her sake. He made his way out towards the outside of the complex. Lighting his cigarette, he walked around the grounds. His thoughts wandered to what may happen during the Prom, likely to be a night to remember.
It was through this pondering of future events, he happened to come across Gideon, the newly minted Omega. Despite him being a former Alpha, Roland was not one to have a problem with all this. However, he had to wonder when he saw what appeared to be a large black cat beside him. The animal seemed to be challenging him, tempting him.
Taking a drag of his cigarette, he murmured to himself, "Here kitty kitty." and continued on. Whatever the hell was going happen there, he did not want to know about right now. He was not out to cause any more problems, especially if they involve a several hundred pound cat. In his thought process: <******** that, came to mind. He continued to wander, making his way to the porch. Bella, Christian, and Leo sitting there. They seemed to be enjoying one another's company, and he thought it be best to at the least just sit and soak in the sun. Dropping the now smoked cigarette, he made his way over to the porch, he sat down quietly not trying to make himself obvious. He liked this kind of thing, but he wasn't one to make himself too open. His golden eyes scanned the other people on the porch, his fellow Omega and the two Alphas beginning to have a conversation.
"Afternoon everyone." he said to them quietly, just ready to relax and enjoy the day.
