Lena just looked back and forth between the two individuals in shock. She had never seen a prisoner of war treated like this. Sometimes they came to Vienna to be tried and sentenced. This was very unusual. They were joking around, and Jarid was even smiling at him! But, they seemed okay with each other, and Jhala did make a point. She'd be surrounded by protection, including her own security guards. Lena shrugged off Samuel's hand and spoke to him softly, firmly. No one could hear what she was saying. Moments later, though, Samuel finally shrugged, not looking pleased at all, and stepped back with the other guards. Lena turned and smiled at the two. "Okay, then. I'm ready to go."

"Oh, but that wouldn't be painfully ironic enough.." Jarid replied with a grin before he looked down at Lena. "Let's be on our way then. Try not to touch anything, or I'm sure laser sights will warm your body from the cold weather." he instructed her as he began walking forward.

Zahzi "Oh, but that wouldn't be painfully ironic enough.." Jarid replied with a grin before he looked down at Lena. "Let's be on our way then. Try not to touch anything, or I'm sure laser sights will warm your body from the cold weather." he instructed her as he began walking forward. Lena chuckled at Jarid's statement. She looked at him and grew confused, though. Was he not joking? Were there really lasers? "Uh. You're joking, right Sgt. Caymen?"

Sergeant First Class Jhala "Hunter" Yadav, 1st IAU, Oriental Alliance "Today we march to War, my Brothers! We March with our Swords, Our Guns, and Our Zoids. For Victory! Until Death!" Jhala couldn't help but laugh. "Well if you are the one to bring me in the next two times, I'll accept the Bladey. But only if it's grey." He got serious for a moment at Lena's comment, then shrugged. "I doubt it. After all, this is a highly sensitive area. I mean, just one wrong move and lasers will slice you up into juicy little Europieces.' He gave Jarid a sly wink.

"I'll be sure to use a gray pen." Jarid grunted before looking from Lena to Jhala. "Yeahh...Best to not do anything suspicious.." he replied with a smirk.

Lena's eyes went wide and she nodded her head slowly, seriously, not having seen the looks between the two men. "Alright, I'll make sure to do that. Than you, Sgts. You lead the way and I will follow."

Jarid looked down at Lena and nodded. "Well, the Storm Sworders are still out, so you can't really take a good look at them." he told her as he began to slowly walk into the hangar. Slow, so that they could be seen following him. "That being said, the other Flight-Zoids are still here. Along with the Zoids people actually need guts to pilot." he grunted, referring to the Land-Based Zoids.

((It's easier to make jab at Tobias when he's there. And FYI, Lena's favorite Zoid is the Storm Sworder.)) Sergeant First Class Jhala "Hunter" Yadav, 1st IAU, Oriental Alliance "Today we march to War, my Brothers! We March with our Swords, Our Guns, and Our Zoids. For Victory! Until Death!" "You have weird ideas on guts, kid. With the exception of the Iron Kong, Red Horn, Cannon Tortoise, Pteras, and the massive Zoids the European Union pilots use, all Zoids require guts to pilot. Especially any Zoid that excels in Melee combat, such as the Liger Zero models, the Blade liger, the Storm Sworder, and the Rev Raptor. Because you have to get up close and personal." He gazed longingly at Sub-Zero. He knew he'd probably get shot if he went over there alone.

"Yeah, but the problem with having the Storm Sworder in that category is that you're going too fast for anything to be a threat, making it somewhat boring." Jarid replied with a shrug.
He then looked back to Lena. "Shall we get going?"

Lena looked up at Jarid in shock. "Piloting the Storm Sworder, boring? Are you mad? You can't be serious." {{You know, this entire time I had been RPing Lena and hearing her voice in my head with an American accent. I just now realized she's from Austria, so she'd have an accent! *facepalm*}}

((Lena is officially my favorite person for that. XD)) Sergeant First Class Jhala "Hunter" Yadav, 1st IAU, Oriental Alliance "Today we march to War, my Brothers! We March with our Swords, Our Guns, and Our Zoids. For Victory! Until Death!" "If you heard the intel reports that the Alliance compiles, you would disagree. The Storm Sworder is the biggest threat to any Aerial Zoid. It's a flying Blade Liger. Or at least that's how the Union put it. Boring is the Pteras. Loafing around all day up in the sky where no one can touch you. Besides, speed is essential in any battle, land or air. I've talked to Lightning Saix and Zero Jager pilots before. They talk about their Zoids the way Stor Sworder and Raynos pilots do." He looked over at Lena, and shrugged. "He's a philostene. Can't expect much out of him."

"What I mean, is that there's no contest with a Storm Sworder. The moment they appear in the air, you might as well just stop trying. At least when Gray takes the field, you have a chance of hitting me." Jarid replied, looking over at Jhala.
He then looked over at Lena. "This is all just MY opinion, of course."

((Cuwen has asked me to relay her posts whenever she is at work, due to guilds not working with proxies.)) Cuwen Lena looked at Jhala and frowned slightly. "I may not agree with him, but I would not call him a philostene, if you beg my pardon. He simply has an opinion... however wrong it might be. And I always think you should expect the most out of people. They might disappoint you, but I'd rather have someone expect something great out of me than assume I am worthless." When Jarid clarified his response, Lena turned and looked at him, nodding at his statement. "Ah, I see... So in fact, you're praising the Storm Sworders! It is the other pilots that you believe would be bored. That I agree with you on. I may have never piloted one before, but when you see them out in the sky, you know that no one could beat them..." There was a wistful tone in her voice now.

Sergeant First Class Jhala "Hunter" Yadav, 1st IAU, Oriental Alliance "Today we march to War, my Brothers! We March with our Swords, Our Guns, and Our Zoids. For Victory! Until Death!" Jhala decided not to respond. After all, it was still relatively unknown to anyone outside of the OA East. It was still a prototype. And a classified one at that. "I might be mistaken now that it's been a while, but the Storm Sworder only attains Mach 4 through afterburners. And Afterburners are finite. The Storm Sworder can't do Mach 4 very long. At most, it's only marginally faster than a Raynos." He shrugged. "Alliance intel reports."
