Tobias placed a hand on her upper back, and began rubbing it in a circle. "No one's perfect. And no one ever said life was easy. He's angry for the right reasons, but gets mad at the wrong people. But at least he does look out for you, even if he does go about it the wrong way. Try talking to him. Get him to realize what he's doing to you. Because he's so worked up about protecting you that he might actually at least try to change. But he does have to realize he can't protect you from everything. THat's his major issue. If he realizes that, he'll get better. Focus on that. Your track record proves you can look after yourself."

"Right. I'm suppose to tell my brother is being a huge problem for me so he feels so much guilt because he'll take what I said too far. Oh, and then there's the idea of getting him to listen." She chuckled, steadily getting louder.
"I've been trying to change him for two years! There's no way he'd listen now. He's not going to do s**t.."

"THere's no harm in trying now, seeing as things have been happening. If him doing things causes you pain, he might actually listen. Especially with the whole KGB thing that just happened. If you need to, you can even use the Army's Counseling Services to help." HE took the final sip from his Dr. Pepper. "I'm sure your brother isn't so stubborn that he'll never see your side of the story."

"I've been trying to get him to change bit by bit, with little to no progress. But, if I dump everything on him, I think... I dunno. He might just break. Just snap like a kid's toy or something.. I can't do that to him.. He'd tear himself apart and I'd never forgive myself."

Lord Redtail Rathan I feel bad for not remembering which were original and noticing what's new, but I'm guessing the Merc Rules are the new ones? β°π
ππ±π₯π°π₯π’ππβ± "Well, obviously our problems didn't start just the other day." Bathsheba sighed. "I've been working to fix his problems since they began. After our parents died, I gave him some time to adjust, but he never went back. He just turned into what he is now and stayed like that.
"Nothing ever seems to work with him though. He's always angry at someone or something, despite what I do. And I think if I suddenly came out with all the problems I feel.. I think he'll realize it's been eating me up longer than he's known, and might take it too harshly. Like, he'll blame himself too much and may overreact to the situation."

ππ±π₯π°π₯π’ππβ± Bathsheba only gave an irritated sigh as she shook her head, obviously not wanting to get into that conversation and subject again.
"In the hanger, you were saying he controlled me. Especially when I admitted when I was originally on planning on joining the forces my first choice was to be a Zoid pilot and Jarid out right said he would not have it. This is not control. This is the two of us watching too much out for each other, and getting to a point of bad return if we try to fix it."

Randomly Gone Insane Still makes for an interesting read. Especially the part about the Ultrasaurus ******** s**t up in the USA.XD And Transporters can continue once Moofin gets back to me on her Gaia status. Otherwise, I kill off her characters. "I also did state that your relationship was unhealthy. And he is controlling you, though most of it is unintentional. A lot of the time, you go out of your way to risk getting him mad. Yes, you do things on your own, but there are things you do to prevent his anger. For example, your wanting to become a pilot, and him saying that he would not have it. Big brother or not, looking out for one another or not, he has no say in your plans. He has no say in your life. That's one of the reasons I offered this trip when we first met.

Lord Redtail Rathan Well, not to be cynical, but I say we spill blood soon. On another note, the whole cluster ******** of getting my house fixed in on the downward path but I'm still super busy> I just spent 10 straight hours cleaning out two rooms and we still have plenty of work to do tomorrow. Then, when this is all done I go back to work as a Tax Preparer and we're in peek (everyone's getting their W2s). I'll be fairly busy there, and although my Mom/boss doesn't like me on my iPad, when I have free time I'm sorta allowed on. Long story short for that part, is I won't be posting too regularly but I wont be gone for all the hours I'm working. β°π

We would be seperated, and I'm not that good handling bad things. And from what I understand, the battlefield is built upon bad things. And he didn't finalize my decision and leave me no choice. We discussed it. His arguments for me not to go were better than my argument to go." Bathsheba explained again.
"Whatever you might think, it's not like that. But, I suppose I can hold too much against that. You don't know what position we're in."

Tobias simply stared at her blankly as Olga removed her hearing aid with a sigh. "Do me a favor. Next time I feel the need to comfort you or try to help you, remind me of this night. Because trying to give you any advice or help is apparetly going to get ignored and thrown in my face." He turned back around so he was facing the bar, and began working on the Dr. Pepper that Olga had placed there in the middle of the conversation.

ππ±π₯π°π₯π’ππβ± "Thanks." Bathsheba hiccuped, slowly getting on her feet and shuffling to the bathroom, her face tired and plastered.
As she walked in, she caught a glance of herself in the mirror. Tired, red eyed, obviously upset. Bathsheba scoffed at herself as she turned away from the mirror, and proceeded with her business, avoiding looking at the mirror once more.
A few minutes later, she came shuffling out, her face washed up so some of the redness in her eyes from crying had passed.
"So... Anything else on the agenda?" She asked rather slowly, trying to keep her words clear.

Randomly Gone Insane Sorry, been without internet for a while. Been relying on my phone. Tobias noticed a small amount of red around her eyes, as well as the redness on her eyes themselves. H chose not to comment though, as he didn't want to cause any additional drama. "Well, this is all for you. I am the one paying for it. SO it's up to you. WHat do you want to do next? If you want to go to an actual dance club, the "Discotheque" is open till dawn."
