Somehow the fairy was able to get back to the edge of the lake, sitting there and drying off a little before she attempted to get back across. This time she made she to hope acorss as fast as she could, jumping onto the edge of the tank and snatching a Ghost egg before getting the hell outa there!

Fully expecting to be hit by fail fish, Marosa grimaced as he was smacked right in the forehead, blinking as he reached up to take a Ice Fang PP Move that had been thrown at him.
He stared at the gym leaders for a moment, and then decided to book it before they started to throw those smelly fish at him.
He grinned to himself. A PP move, how very lucky~

Riley was briefly reminded of the time Israfel had allowed some of Cthulhu's eggs into the ocean, as she was buried in fish once more. She remembered the day fondly - the ocean bubbled and roiled, killing so much sealife. Ah, death.

The festival was.... not as much fun to peruse anymore! Malodore slogged through the wet, stopping every so often to kick, slap, or otherwise flail at a chomping fish. Really, this was entirely unfair after all it had done to save the festival...
... And now things were being thrown at it, too?! Ugh! It had half a mind to go home... but something interesting splashed at its feet. Huh? It bent down and picked it up.

Quite a stretch of luck, Vero was having. Not badges, no, but in non-fishy projectiles. This, however, rather than being pelted by a minipet, something much smaller tinked off his armor.
"Hum . . . Let us put this to use?" it murmured as it ducked back out of sight before the pair could reload.

This time Roch picked up Jackdammit, held him in front of his face and let the damn cat get pelted with the fish he seemed to love so much. Surprisingly, both of them were okay with this decision. Would wonders never cease?

Nyyrikki was bound and determined to steal something from this booth now. They wanted to up their security? Bring it, sucka.
It all sounded good in his head, but the moment the first fish hit him in the face he turned tail. He'd have to find another way to bypass this thunderstorm of ugly little fish.

Back for more eggs, back for more fish to the face. Sebastian was prepared this time though.
If by prepared you meant he brought a book to smack some of the fish away with.
Either way, Sebastian was going into the gym, and he wasn't coming out until he got something. Even if it was meaningless, he wanted to at least try for those fish eggs! The ones being thrown at him were long dead, but the ones in the buckets still had a chance!
So Sebastian braved the gym. He burst through the doors intended to just make a running dash for the bucket. Couldn't catch him if he was too fast! The gym was oddly quiet though ... too quiet. They were just loading their fish cannons, right? That's why it was so quiet. Sebastian started running anyways- he wasn't going to take any chances.
When he got to the buckets, he was practically bouncing up and down. Fishy friends were all his! He was going to cuddle them and love them an-
There was nothing in the bucket.
Sebastian pawed around and even picked up the bucket. Nothing! Then all of a sudden, fish came from out of nowhere. It seemed he'd tripped a trap! Where was Admiral Ackbar when you needed him? Sebastian booked it for the door, and just as he'd made it out, something shiny hit him in the head. What was it with these Trick or Treaters giving out weird objects? Whatever the reason, Sebastian through it in his pocket and continued on with his day.

Back for fish smackin', fish stealin', and badge gettin'. This time, she brought her minipet, Soul the Soul eater to come by.
"Okay, we'll go in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, now!". She burst through the doors, and planned to run fast to get the fish eggs. Suddenly, she slipped on something.
BAM!
The quiet gym suddenly become noisy, since everyone's was throwing fish at Minnie. "CRAP! RUN SOUL, RUNNNN!!!" Minnie run as fast as she can, and then, Break, threw her bade at Minnie. Soul was behind Minnie, so Soul catches the badge in his mouth.
When Minnie was outside the gym, she saw a shining piece of gold metal in Soul's mouth. Soul spitted it out; its a badge! "Good Boy! Lets go show this thing off... 8D" Then Minnie walks away with a happy face, and a badge!

Ulmuka really wanted their badges.. REALLY. But he had to get close to them to even ask. They didn't seem to want anyone going near them, perhaps for fear of stealing their precious eggs. He had to admit that it was a valid fear after what he'd seen early on in the festival.
Despite the fact that he seemed to understand their plight, it didn't stop them at all from pelting the strix with fish. Herryk had been right about not eating them though... this particular batch was rather stinky.

He should have left Clef in the room--not that he had actually LET Clef out of the room, but now Clef and Jackdammit were chasing each other all over the festival, tackling the other and beating on the other before getting bit and racing away. It was like a violent type of tag. Roch had given up running after them and was just following casually, his hands in his pockets, his little sprite ghoul, Riff leaning against his neck, rubbing it with her head.
She seemed to think this was a date. He wasn't going to tell her differently. When he got to the booth where the fish was being thrown one hand came up, covering his little sprite protectively. She was trying to peek through his fingers when a PP smacked him in the face. He grabbed it, rather surprised at the lack of fish, and slipped it into his pocket before walking on.
Riff seemed a lot luckier to hang out with than Jackdammit was.
