In our empire, it's kinda like the Egyptians, only we didn't worship cats." she shuddered at the thought of cats, she really didn't like them "We sort of worshipped dogs. Most of warriors were beast tamers and would train dogs to fight alongside them. But Xolo was different. I didn't train him, he kinda chose me. We've been together ever since. He's more than just a pet, he's like my hairless, four-legged brother. We'd do what any pair of siblings would do; play together, eat together, sleep together, even bathe together in the river. We'd even argue with each other, then make up later on. he's like me, a total badass, and an extreme fighter." Most people wouldn't talk about their pets like if they were people, but she was different. Of course, she wouldn't forget her puppy, Chico, the newest member of their family.

As she listened to her sister talk about her pets, the Mexican's girl's eyes enlarged in fear "C-c-cat? R-raven?" she began to chuckle nervously. She'd never admit to anyone, but she gets nervous around cats, more like she suffers from ailurophobia, that happens when you live near a jaguar's home and it almost tried to kill you. And in the myths of her ancient tribes, ravens were the servants to the god of death, so they were a symbol of bad omen "Oh, w-wait, you said bearcat, si? Th-Then, never mind... Hehehehehe..."

Luz Maria was taking deep breaths in and out in order to calm herself down, if she kept acting as such, people will get suspicious.
