Meme gave a soft sigh and nodded. "Okay." he said as he made his way to the bedroom again to get dressed before he went to the dining room for some breakfast. He sat down in the dining room chair just in time to see the servants place trays of food on the table. Meme began to fill his plate with food but eating by himself was quite lonely.

"Just a little after 7 am. The kitchen is preparing breakfast, I don't think you'd want to miss it." he said softly, knowing the boy liked food but because he was a peasant Kuro was sure that he wanted to taste some of the yummy foods that were here at the castle.

He sat at the library desk for two hours, writing letters and signing orders that would be delivered when he needed them. His guests' rooms were to be made first, with his father as far from him as possible without offending him. Next the food had to be brought in, along with extra guards who would follow the bidding of him or the princess and no-one else; guards who would protect Meme and anyone else not staying in the main house.
Finally and most urgently, he stood up to deliver the messages he'd written to arrange the trip leaving in an hour or so. Easy when you have servants who can pack, make food and sort everything else that needs doing. Including two carriages: one with his mark on, one without. Rufus had specific instructions for the unmarked carriage not to be seen anywhere near Kuro and Akito, so no-one could connect the dots.

Trapped. ♫♪♫♪♫ Akito Nakamura ♪♫♪♫♪ Akito brightened a little when he heard of the food available, unsure whether he'd rather have the sleep or the food. Still, he wanted to check up on Meme and the plans for the day, so he smiled and thanked Kuro. "Could you lead the way there?"
Then he blushed, looking away. "I-I hate to ask this but..." he bit his lip and looked at Kuro with a sigh. "W-would you help me with my food? I'm worried I'll embarrass myself - my hands don't feel that strong yet."
He was usually capable, so it hurt to have to ask that of Kuro. But if he was handling anything hot and he dropped it...

Meme finished his breakfast and managed to grab a couple scones with a cup of coffee. He went to the library to search for Rufus but instead bumped into him in the hallway. "Oh, there you are. I snagged you something to eat and some coffee." he said tiredly, handing the man the hot cup and the treats wrapped in a napkin.

Kuro stood up and fixed the bed Akito slept in before he snuck into Kuro's. "That is not one of my duties." he said softly. "Come, knowing Rufus there isn't much time for us to eat. He will want to get everything done soon." Kuro said as he lent Akito a hand to help him up and off the bed.

Rufus smiled at his husband, yet he had too much to do. So he kissed Meme's cheek awkwardly - his hands were full of various letters and his head with different tasks - and started past him without taking the food. "Thanks. But I have to get this done. I'll see you at lunch."

Trapped. ♫♪♫♪♫ Akito Nakamura ♪♫♪♫♪ Kuro's reaction threw Akito for a moment, but he got angry quickly. Instead of letting the Butler help him, he strode off on his own. He stumbled a little, but it was better than accepting Kuro's help. Couldn't he see what it meant that Akito had had to ask for help eating his food? It was humiliating!
But at least he could walk almost normally, and he was damn well going to do so!

Meme watched Rufus walk away without any food, he understood Rufus had so much on his mind but surely even the Prince needed to eat. He gave a soft sigh and placed the food on Rufus' desk in the library, hoping he would eat it soon.

Kuro noticed Akito hadn't taken his hand in his attempt to stand which wouldn't have bothered Kuro much at all if he hadn't seen Akito stumble a bit. He rushed right to Akito's side to help him but it seemed as if the male couldn't care less about Kuro's help. He gave a soft sigh and followed him to the dining room. Once they entered Kuro pulled a chair out for Akito to sit in, trying to be as helpful as he could.

A crash and a curse sounded from around the corner. Rufus was sat in the hallway, trying to pick up all the papers. "Looks like it snowed... stupid..." he muttered.

Trapped. ♫♪♫♪♫ Akito Nakamura ♪♫♪♫♪ Akito deliberately picked a different chair, kicking it out and sitting down. "Thank you. But you don't have to help me any more, since you're obviously busy and it's not your job."
He looked longingly at the coffee, but picked up the orange juice with a tiny wince and poured some into his glass with shaking hands.

As soon as Meme heard the crash he came running toward the sound, almost running right into Rufus in the process. "Are you okay?" he asked worriedly, hoping he could help the man with whatever he needed. "Maybe you should take a short break Rufus." he said softly, helping him pick up the papers on the floor.
}{ Kuro Suji }{
He watched Akito sit in a different chair and gave a soft sigh. Now he understood what was going on but how else was Akito going to find out if he had the strength to do even the most basic tasks himself if he didn't force the boy to try. But now he could see that his wrists were still weak. Kuro quickly went to Akito's side and steadied the pitcher for the boy so he wouldn't end up wearing the liquid instead. "Your wrists may still be fairly weak, and you may not be able to lift heavier objects on your own, but I'm sure you have strength enough to lift a fork." he said softly, grabbing the plate in front of the boy and filling it with some eggs, sausage, and a couple pieces of toast. He wasn't sure how much Akito was able to eat so for now this would be satisfactory. "Just try." he said softly, placing the plate in front of him before serving himself and sitting at least one chair away from Akito, seeing as the boy wanted some space.

Rufus shook his head. "I knew I shouldn't have slept. It's a crazy plan and there's so much to do and they're supposed to leave in an hour or so!" He accepted the papers and thanked Meme for handing them to him. Then he paused. "Are you up to anything just now?"

Trapped. ♫♪♫♪♫ Akito Nakamura ♪♫♪♫♪ "I meant with coffee. If you pour coffee with hands that shake, you scald yourself." He informed Kuro, picking up his knife and fork. "I hated to ask, but I feel exhausted." He cut the food delicately, watching the slight tremors that went through his hand. The blood circulation was better now, but not 'fixed'. Still, he managed to eat half of his breakfast before his wrists gave out.

Meme shook his head innocently. "Nope, what can I do to help? I could check to see if Kuro and Akito are ready yet?" he asked curiously. He wanted to go see if Akito was feeling any better today as well but if his Prince needed him elsewhere then that is what he would do instead.

Kuro nodded and poured the boy some coffee, dropping a few sugar cubes and pouring a little cream into the dark liquid, thinking the boy wouldn't enjoy the bitter taste of black coffee. "I understand." he said softly, noticing Akito had given up on cutting his food. "I know it's difficult to perform the simplest of tasks, given how badly hurt your wrists were. But it's important to exercise the parts of the body that are recovering, at least a little." he instructed, sounding much more like a mother than a butler, especially when he cut the rest of Akito's food for him.

Rufus checked the papers, then selected some that would be easy to find. "Could you deliver these for me? The last three in the pile are for Kuro and Akito, so you can go to them last. The others need to be given to the servants, so if you can go to the kitchens they'll tell you where to find the people mentioned on the papers. They should be easy to find. Is that ok?"

Meme smiled and accepted the papers. "I'll make sure this gets done!" he said happily, scampering off to the kitchens where he was given the general areas in which the other servants worked in. Meme made sure he tracked them all down and that they each got their paper before heading to dining room where he saw Akito and Kuro.

Kuro noticed Meme enter the room but this time didn't bother standing at attention since he was still eating, technically the boy was intervening with his mealtime, which was his break time. "You aren't done, you need to eat more Akito. Just slow down a bit." he instructed rather strictly when really if Rufus found out that Kuro let Akito go through with this plan on an empty stomach, it would be Kuro who would get yelled at.

Rufus went in the opposite direction, grumbling about the size of his castle as he went. He had at least twice as many papers to deliver, which took him roughly and hour since he had to make sure everyone knew what they were doing.

"A bit restless but otherwise okay. I just got done helping Rufus. Hurry up and eat, he's just about ready to go." he instructed, handing the two of them their papers before going off and finding Rufus once more.

Kuro received the paper and handed Akito the one with his name on it and began to read carefully. "Hurry up and eat as much as you can." he said softly, thinking they still had a bit of time before they had to get ready and head out the door.

The note said we had an hour from when we got it, right? So I'll be back in an hour." Yet when he stood, his legs started to buckle for a moment before he stood straight.
