"No no, don't stop, this is a great idea! We'll flip it over by pulling on the legs until it comes around!"
Robert wrapped his arms around the other leg of the table, and heaved with all of his might. Which wasn't very much.
But together, Robert and Astra made up the strength of one average sized person. And one averaged sized person could certainly flip this table over on their own.
The table came up over them, drowning them in shadow, and teetered dangerously. This plan had not been thought out very well.
"TIMBER!" Robert screamed, letting go of his leg and vaulting across to dive into Astra, pushing her out of the way of the falling table. Still, they had done it! CLEARLY ROBERT COULD DO ANYTHING.

As the table began to tip over, Astra beamed with delight. She may have been a fairy but look what she just did! Moved a hole table! (with a gnomes help of course), However she had not accounted for the table to not fall the opposite way and to instead fall on them.
Thankfully, Robert had realized this much sooner and pushed her out of harms way.
Sitting on the ground a little ways from the table, She smiled at Robet. "Thankyou! If not for you, I would have been squished for a second time today"

"A second time?!" Robert leaned on his arms to push himself up, enough to stare at the fairy in confusion. "Who the hell's going around smushing fairies? That's just cruel."
And suddenly, Robert's opinion of the Halloweentowners dropped several pegs. He was relatively certain he'd be able to dispatch them easily, if they were the kind of assholes who went around smushing fairies.
Dicks.
He pushed himself off of her, holding out a hand to help her up. "Yeah, well, don't worry about it. Gotta look out for each other, I suppose. But look!" He bent his head upward, to stare at the now upright table. They'd un-flipped it perfectly!
"Yeaaah, we did that. Up top." He held his hand up in the air.

"Well, it was kind of a accident.." Astra took his hand and helped herself up, now scratching the back of her head in a awkward gesture. "Cause, all the boils started taking off all their clothes cause I think Deacon and nuk were trying to show each other their muscles, and Petro was walking around all naked which was really weird and Jericho was being a jerk as usual cause he crashed on a cat ghoul, and then she began bleeding from he nose and then it began to gush with lots and lots of blood! I tried to see if she was okay, but she sorta passed out from blood loss I think and she fell on me"
She paused to breathe a little, then looked at the table they had pushed over and imeedately began jumping up and down. "Horray! we pushed it over!" And upon seeing Robert raise his hand, she raised her own so she could high five him.

Aislin had watched it all with a skeptical eye up until she realized they were making an attempt at flipping the table. It wasn't quite what she'd thought of or suggested but... actually pretty clever! They'd even avoided impending doom! The banshee clapped excitedly and came over to give both Astra and Robert a pat on the back.
"Oh wow! At first you guys were like... and then you were! But then you went like and the table! Great teamwork! Have you tried playing any of the other games?"

There were a lot of names listed in Astra's story, and a lot of.. nudity. Male nudity. He was liking this place less and less. ".. Well all right then. Let's hope none of that happens again." He grumbled, before grinning up proudly at Ash. She.. woo. She looked a lot more interesting from this angle. Damn. Maybe being short wasn't so bad after all..
"I played some fishing game earlier. And I beat some bear in a wrestling match. Plus there was some other awesome things I did, but I don't wanna bore you with 'em all." He looked rather smug about it. "I'd much rather hear about you g- .. uh.."
Ghouls. You IDIOT. They're called GHOULS here. You are such a worthless twit.
Robert's smug attitude dropped in place of a look at read as upset as possible, but he tried to brush it off quickly. "You ghouls." He emphasized the word harshly. "How's life been treatin' you? Tell me a day in the life of Astra and Ash, the lovely ladies of this land."

Astra felt the pat on her back, looking up at Ash and beaming at her compliment. "Thank you! and I have" she said excitedly. Theres a fish stealing game, and I'm really good at that. Theres also the wishing one, and the bat one too" Although she didn't know there was a bear wrestling match...
When Robert was about to talk about his accomplishments, astra looked at him curiously wanting to hear them, but instead he tapered off after asking both herself and ash what they did.
"u...umm...." She thought about asking him if he was going to use that word again, but thought better of it. "Well..most of the time, I go to school and learn stuff "

Go to school and learn stuff. He was so glad this job only let him hang out here for a day.
"Yeah, school. You guys doing well in there? Learning all your ABC's 'n s**t?" His low laughter was meaty, and it was still strange coming from such a small body. "What are they teaching you over there in that fancy place? Other than how to be so pretty, of course."

This time, Roberts comment made Astra blush a little. He thought she was pretty?
"w-well...ummm" She tried to think of something "Ah! we had to try find a path across a swam in gym, and if we didn't get it right we got eaten by skitter sharks..."
Wait, that wasn't a very fun class at all...

He didn't understand half of the things she was saying, but one word stuck out like a glorious thumb.
"GYM!" He threw his hands up in the air triumphantly, then flexed them biceps hard. "That is my GAME, man. I LOVED gym. I used to trump all those sissies every time." There were no skitter sharks in his gym, though. "So they're teaching you how to be tough, eh? Like, you said you were fightin' sharks? Man.. I never had it that rough. You're still here, though, so.." He reached out and pinched her cheek. "I guess that means you're one tough cookie! Maybe you could take me on in a fight!"

The sudden enthusiasm made Astra jump back, a little surprised that the small gnome was so happy about gym...and how he beat all the 'sissys'. What surprised her more was that he thought she was tough
He thought...she was tough
She liked this boil a lot
"Y-yeah...I guess so" She had never thought of herself as 'tough' before. She knew she was physically weak. Faeries were not meant to have muscles or to pull punches. First sign of trouble they usually flew away, otherwise they'd end up as a pancake.
Wait, wouldn't she be considered a 'sissy?'
When she was suddenly pinched, she 'epped' a little, rubbing the spot where she pinched her and frowning at him. Although this time instead of being offended, she just ended up looking cute, "hey, Don't pinch me! I'll..totally wallop you!"

Herryk stood there for a long moment, merely staring back at Sura. He wasn't quite sure what she wanted, if anything, and he seemed perfectly content to do nothing -- almost as content as Sura seemed to be. It wasn't until he was approached by a boil he didn't recognize that he seemed to snap out of whatever daydreams (throwing tables in a flowered field with Sura, most likely) had claimed his attention. "She is hungry," he grunted, gesturing at Sura with a beefy hand. "I will have another," he added, assuring the boil that he could, indeed, lay claim to another cap if he so desired. Herryk was distracted as Desu-chan sauntered into the area and he watched her closely. His eyes lit up when she showed off the swag that was nestled within the chest, and he could not help sidling closer to the chest so that he could obtain a pendant. He scooped up a second one for Sura, presenting it to the colossus with a grunt. Would she eat this, too? It wasn't his intent to provide her with more lunch. Dinner. Whatever. And then HE FLIPPED ANOTHER TABLE. With a bellow.

The fairy had spice, Robert had to give her that. He held his hands up as if to indicate surrender, and chuckled deeply. "Okay, okay. I guess I'll keep my hands to myself."
The sound of wood crashing had Robert looking up to see the other people around, flipping tables, and his eyes went as wide as they could go.
Two very large people were over there flipping tables. He scooted just a tiny smidge closer to Astra, and slumped in sadness.
He missed being a big guy. ):

Herryk couldn't help but clench his big hands into bigger fists and give a little flex. Destroying tables was probably more fun than it should be. Way more fun, actually.
Out of the corner of his eye (and just barely) Herryk caught sight of a tiny man and a tiny lady. The tiny lady almost looked like a pretty bird. Herryk liked birds, so the tiny lady was cool as far as Herryk was concerned. However, tiny men... well, those were kind of laughable.
"Hey little man! Little man, why you look so sad?" He was trying really hard not to laugh. Really hard.

He could hear the laughing in his head.
Robert's little fists clenched tightly, and his face darkened in anger. If he could, he would go over there right now and..
and..
His fists released, as did the breath he was holding, but his face was still red as a tomato.
Still, he figured the big oaf deserved a response. His middle finger offered him one.
