For the Akira Style, do I need to go all the way to Takumi to buy a pair of fans or can I just say I bought them in some shop from Konoha? Takumi doesn't have anything listed for blade fans. Or maybe they count as small weapons?...

They count as small weapons, unless you buy the larger variety akin to Temari's. I just picked up a small, flimsy wooden practice fan from the dojo until I can find the time to head out there.

No problem. ^_^ Genin have to get permission, but Chuunin+ do not, pending a village's own regulations.

in light of the one buki, and two taijutsu styles being fixed/revamped and all, i would like to put it out there that Ressuken has been down for nearly a year, and now that i have another taijutsu style it erks me greatly that the one i wanted is still not up. I was told if would be added after the time skip, and i understand that it may take some time, but with mini arcs and possible guild arcs coming into play it be nice to be at full strength and knowledge to deal with your evil nasty bad guys.
on another note, if someone is incapable of completing/fixing/working on this, then i have asked and told people on a repeated basis that i am willing to help with anything/everything. Although i understand that i m not a mod and not a crew member that not receiving work is alright, but when you guys are apperently swamped and need help, having someone willing and able to help being pushed off to the side is kinda dissapointing. If there is any issue with my work and my ability to help, you may ask AandOE as he has called on me for a few items to help him with

Hm...I wouldn't mind some help with Taijutsu styles, as real life things have been coming up lately. I think it's up to Shin or one of the vice captains, though.

I have a suggestion, if there isnt already there should be a requester choice type of mission. That is rank depends on what the users missions entails through out the event. For example Fuyu could give out a baby sitting mission to younger ninja to take care of her child while she trains. Then if they like say get attacked or the house blows up their mission rank goes up and becomes fairly rewarding, or say the child is proficient at genjutsu and they have to put up with it all day.... >.> surprised

There's a mission called "Higher Up's Request" in the D ranked mission thread. Is that the kind of thing you're thinking about?

No, it could come from anyone. Like the mission would just be one of those miscellaneous types. Where a villager requests a couple ninja and they will get instructions when they arrive. The instructions themselves could be anything from find my daughter a date to go bury the corpse of a guy I murdered at a bar last night, lol. Higher Ups Request would work for my case but it would only work for ninja requesting ninja for unknown reason, not villagers requesting ninja for unknown reason. xD Just a thought.

If a jutsu costs 3 posts to learn and I have a total of -4 post reduction, would I just automatically learn it?...Say I'm learning a C rank genjutsu at the academy. -3 in attribute, -2 in academy reductions, and the original post amount is 5. Do I just learn it automatically? Or what? Also, I have a -3 post reduction because my rpc is chūnin genjutsu class and has the Sakkakugan
