No chips. No wins. And no attention. Riley leaned back, having not said a single word. She hopped off of her perch, and gave those she knew a soft wave instead of a verbal goodbye, before heading back to her own booth to close up shop.

Oh! Teasing! Of course! Haha...ha...and here she was worried she'd have to go adjust some of her dresses for Riley! A joke. It was...a joke. Riley was a very good actor. Oh boy. Junko giggled nervously, still looking unsure. It was just a joke, but Riley was very convincing sometimes with how serious she sounded about things; she was admittedly envious of her ability to make people believe just about anything sometimes. Junko sighed, though she was smiling again. Oh, Riley. She perked up though when she heard her name, looking over to Aislin as Nukpana introduced her and Riley to the new ghoul. But she didn't get much time to speak to her just yet, because the next moment she heard her name in a voice that made her whirl around. Tomoko?! Whe--oh! "Tomo-chan~!" She squealed, hugging the little kitsune ghoul and nuzzling her cheek against hers. Awwwww! She was so scared! Why?! It was just open house at the school! No fog, no--ah, what has Hellma said they were? The not-reapers. No not-reapers! And no giant rings of death and...and stuff...it was okay! Nothing bad had happened! Or would happen! Junko cooed quietly to the little kitsune for a few moments, trying to comfort her and keep her from crying.
Wait, what? Junko blinked and looked up again as Aislin spoke her name, putting her head on top of Tomoko's between the ghoul's ears. Wait, wha--oh! Ohhhh! Okay! This was Aislin! "Oh! You're Aislin? It's very nice to meet you!" She would have said more on the subject but Aislin suddenly climbed up on the table and started...leaning toward Nuk...
It made her think of Sarias toward Seiji, unfortunately. The ghoul frowned darkly and looked from the banshee to the skinwalker, her hug around Tomoko tightening briefly and her hair twitched. Off. Off, off, off. No. Off him. Off! Junko stayed quiet lest she say something completely stupid, releasing Tomoko to just rest her arm around the kitsune's shoulders. "It's okay~!" Yes, she was intentionally going to draw as much attention away from Nuk as possible. Junko had a slightly too sweet smile on her face. "Like I said, I failed eleven times! I bet if I tried again I'd fail..again." She spun the wheel to prove her point.

...Well damn! She'd actually kind of been hoping to prove herself wrong with this whole failure thing. Junko chuckled and just gestured to the wheel. "See?"
Hmmm..maybe if she kept trying! Just..just one more time. Yeah, one more time wouldn't hurt. Junko turned the wheel one more time. Maybe if she tried really hard she could just make the ball drop in the spot she needed!

Okay, so this was becoming an addiction for Junko. The problem was she would never admit this was addicting. Nope. She could quit whenever she wanted! She just didn't want to yet.

Since the booths were going to be closing up soon, Astra thought it would be high time to spin the wheel again while she had the chance, and try to add some more chips to her total count. She was very happy with what she had so far, but it couldn't hurt to try some more, right?

"Yahoo! I'm getting really good at this~" Astra cheered out loud, then noticed junko was there and promptly shut her mouth. While she had been doing very well, junko hadn't done so well and it didn't feel proper to sit there and jump for joy when the person next to her hadn't won at all. Quietly she spun the wheel again.

She hadn't won that time either, but she still had one more spin to go. It was all good though, Astra wasn't sure what she was going to do with allt he chips she had so far!

Israfel was back and he had a plan. He was going to drop his balls. All his balls. Each and every ball he had at once. Why? It was simple.
He doped one and it was like watching the wheel mock him. So close...yet never to be. His ball failed. More balls? More to drop, more chances to not get ball failure. "Pardon, excuse me." Wiggling his way to the wheel he didn't even wait.
He dropped his balls on the wheel hard.

Mot had left this booth a loser once before. This time, he was back for revenge. With Lizzy on one arm and hope in his heart, the reaper approached the booth and the roulette wheel. His unseen eyes glared at the object, imagining showdown music playing to this event.
"Okay Lizzy, here it goes." He released the ghoul and gave the roulette a go.
Success! He had won two chips! "Now that's what I'm talking about!"

She actually didn't get go of the reaper despite having arrived at the booth. Instead, she tossed the first ball into the wheel and watched it go.
"Ohhh, good job Mot!" She cheered when the wheel came to a stop. Too bad the luck didn't apply to her; she didn't really feel upset though. Instead, she just let out a soft 'Aw!' before picking up the second ball for try number 2.

Despite how much fun everyone else was having, Nuk was overall pretty bored by this point. Don't get him wrong, picking up chips and giving them to the winners was pretty awesome but... really, when you thought about it... not all that awesome at all. In fact, he was pretty much feeling like a monkey at this point, half bent over the table to stare boredly as the other people chattered and rolled, chin propped up on both palms, moving one occasionally to pick up a chip and place it in another student's hand. There weren't all that many questions anymore either, so he didn't even have to speak. If 'the powers that were' even remotely trusted the other students to distribute and take their own chips in a fair manner, he wouldn't even have had to have been there at all. He could have been at bruteball, where he really wanted to be, or at Fitness intimidating all the little incoming freshmeats that walked by.
... naw.
The thought of Fitness brought Nuk's attention over to the booth that stood not one down from his own, separated only by a poor, single table between them. It was popular as always, but through the crowd it was easy to see Riley's purple skin, letting him know the mindflayer was over there being as charismatic as always. It really was no wonder there were so many people in Fitness -- between the appeal of the club itself and her overwhelming ability to convince people to come, it was surprising she didn't have an army by now. In fact, it was this thought that made Nuk sulk the most, watching as she was not bored out of her mind while he totally was.
Grabbing one of the (many) failed fliers he had created, he flicked it in the booth's direction idly, watching it soar through the air.
