Emma took a deep breath, training should be easy enough. She looked at the first skill and began to practice. All she was doing was using the scythe to bring the enemy closer, nothing too hard. She pulled the scythe away from her back and cringed a little. She'd never used something like this before so it was odd...she would still try to get the technique done.[1/3] She gave the scythe a few practice swings to get used to the weight. It wasn't horribly heavy since it was just a curved blade on a stick, but the blade part made it top-heavy. She dropped the scythe on her shoulder and relaxed a little bit, it may have been awkward to hold, but swinging it felt perfect. "Now...on to the skill." Emma may have been a bit unfocused, but she was back in the game now.[2/3] Emma brought her scythe out to where an opponent would probably stand in opposition to a giant bladed stick. She pulled will all of her might against...the air and nodded, that was a pretty simple technique. Emma picked up her book again and moved on to the next skill. "I'll have this mastered in no time." Emma said, sounding more and more robotic each time she spoke.[3/3]

This next technique involved something Emma didn't have, a good swinging arm. She never played baseball before so her strike was weak. The best thing about this technique was if she hit somebody with Damnation first there would be no escape from Grave-Robber. She swung at the air and produced less than perfect results. "Hmm..."[1/3] Emma tried that again, getting a better swing at the air. She wasn't sure, but it might have been half as perfect as it should have been. "I'll call that one close." Emma said, noting she was halfway done with this. She prepared herself for one last attempt at the skill before finishing off here.[2/3] Emma swung again, if a person was there she would have sworn she'd hear a crack when it smacked them in the face. It wouldn't do any signifigant damage like cutting them would, but it was nice enough for her. She opened her book again and looked over the skills. She spotted the next one and took her stance again to begin practice. "Just a few more, maybe..."[3/3]

The next one was one that did a little bit of cutting damage, but it was about how powerful her knee strike was really. Emma was curious as to how well she'd do in a battle. She spun her scythe vertically like a staff and listening to the sound of it cutting through wind. It wasn't a perfect scythe, but it was still a scythe, she could respect that. She examined the scythe and shook her head as she lost focus, she still had to train.[1/3] She swung her scythe vertically again and raised her knee to where an enemy's chest would be. She could envision herself knocking the breath out of them. "Not until I master this." Emma said, trying to keep her mind from wandering. She still had a little more she could do.[2/3] Emma continued her training and completed the technique. She yawned and looked in her book once more. "Not much more I can do...I'll be here all night if I try." Emma said, putting the book down again and taking her stance. "Time to move on."[3/3]

Emma set herself a target area and aimed for it. She ran forward and planted her scythe in the ground. That was pretty much it for now, she wasn't going to try somethign she wasn't ready for. The skill seemed simple enough though, just kick your enemy as hard as possible, let the momentum take care of everything.[1/3] Emma tried again, aiming a kick at her invisible target, but not striking yet. She was a little cautious, if she messed this up she'd look like an idiot. "One last time." Emma encouraged herself to continue.[2/3] Emma tried one more time, imagining Fenrir where her kick landed. "Perfect, that's all." She put the style book in her bag and "sheathed" her scythe for now. "Now let's see what trouble I can stir up." Emma said as she left.[3/3][/exit]
