"Sure. You two were looking up on Valery Mosin, right?" Sylvia said when Harold translated what Renei was saying. Sylvia went over to a computer that was sitting on a desk in the small office. The screen brightened when Sylvia moved the mouse and she typed in Valery's name when the search bar came up. The computer had all the file names the Society had in it, and it was updated regularly to keep the cases updated. If different files were realted, they were put into the same results when the Targets name was searched. A list of names popped up and Sylvia grabbed a pad of paper and a pencil and wrote the files down. "I think most of these should be in... I don't t-think anyone was working on V-Valery before you two came." Sylvia said. Sylvia S. Harrow

Zander had made it to the 'M's and no one was around. He quickly went through the files looking for that name 'Mosin' It kept playing in his head with her majestic voice. Why couldn't he get her out of his head?! He went through the drawer quickly numerous times not seeing the file. He tried to remember who had it last, but gave up. Leaving as quickly as he came, he would call his contacts and find out what she was doing in town. But then again, he had yet to completely learn what she was.
{ooc:FML, super edit. Thanks}

╚══════════════╝ ((King, Renei has Valery's file on her at the moment. Just an FYI.))
Renei nodded her thanks and joined Sylvia in shuffling through files. Between the two of them, it didn't take more than ten minutes to find all the ones needed. There were seven in total, each one a decent width for a case file. Renei scooped them up in one arm and signed with the other, <"Again, thank you. This helps me a lot.">
Harold began Sim-Comming, and asked "Miss Sylvia, we wanted to ask you if you knew where we might find a particular book. The library here doesn't have a copy of it. It's a siren autobiography and very rare. Is there a particular place the Underground Society might keep such things? Renei thinks it'll help in her case." Renei nodded enthusiastically in agreement. She was glad Harold had asked, since she had been about to walk out. It had totally slipped her mind to ask. She hefted the files in one arm and signed, <"If you don't know, that's ok. It would be helpful even if you could point us in the right direction. You know, tell us who to ask and that sort of thing.">☞☞☞☞

"No problem." Sylvia said, giving a small smile. When the Harold asked about the book, Sylvia had to think about it for a minute before speaking. "When I first came here, Mr. Camden d-did say something about those kind of books... I think a-another building may have something like that. This one is more for storing the f-files of cases and that type of thing. I could make a f-few calls around to the other buildings and see what they have. I'm pretty sure they'll h-have something, but there's no guarentee. D-depending on where the other building is, it could b-be here withing a few hours, a few days, and at the worst a f-few weeks." Sylvia said, pushing her glasses back up since they were falling down again. "You don't have to add the M-Miss to my name, either." Sylvia added.

Even though she had inhabited earth for a while, and was used to such insane behavior without remorse, even looking down at it from the heavens, Lee was still confused. She wasn't used to actually looking so much into the victim after death. All the really knew of was when one was dead they were dead. " his soul is at peace.." She said to Sylvia. Lee had only been in the society for a week now, she saw what happened, and saw the culprit. She didn't understand what more there was to do.
She had been brought in by Sylvia so graciously after the witness of Lee splitting a rapist in half in the middle of the act. Her wings made it clear she was no human that didn't belong left on the streets. She was still ignorant as to what was going on into the society, nor did she have any personal assignments to have done to do on her own, but she didn't mind. She was afraid to interact with the others. She was still trying to feel where everyone was with her.
" Why are you still trying to find more things?] She asked with blank wide eyes.

Sylvia looked up in surprise when Lee spoke up. "O-Oh! H-hi, Le-ee." Slyvia said, stuttering badly. She hadn't been paying clear attention and hadn't noticed her before, and the 'shock' of her sudden appearance caught Sylvia off guard. When Lee said, "his soul is at peace," Sylvia knew she was talking about Mr. Camden. She nodded slightly, but remained silent until Lee asked her question. "I'm helping Renei and Harold find some things for a c-case they're working on." Sylvia S. Harrow

Sylvia's aura always made Lee feel at ease, because of her nervousness. Her stutter, her humanity, her innocence. She was one of the purest in this place. What can I do to help? She asked her dark blue eyes shining brightly. You're very troubled over this it seems...
She got up off of the chair she was sitting on, picked up her scythe, placed it back on her back, and walked over to Sylvia placidly. It bothers me to see humans in such unease states of mind.

╚══════════════╝ When the arch angel appeared, Renei jumped visibly. There had been no warning, unless there had been some aural cue, to the impending presence of the winged being. She tried not to stare in awe. The being was dauntingly beautiful, in a way that made it clear this was no ordinary human. The wings that sprang from her back were a big giveaway, too. The scythe, however, was scary. She knew that angels usually said "Fear not" in order to comfort those they appeared to, but that wouldn't be any good for Renei. She couldn't hear them.
She happened to glance at Harold and noticed he was looking distinctly uncomfortable. Every so often, he would scratch at his arm or his neck in between signs. With each movement, he seemed to waver, and Renei caught glimpses of his true form as he did. They were exceedingly brief, and only in patches, as if his human appearance were a suit that had holes in it. As the angel and Sylvia conversed, and Harold continued translating, these glimpses became more noticeable. He also began to fidget.
The presence of the angel made Harold itch everywhere. He was doing his best to hide it, but he couldn't stand the annoying buzzing that was all over his body. The distraction made it hard for him to translate for Renei and keep a firm hold on his illusion, and something was suffering. He knew it was the illusion because Renei was looking at him oddly. The longer he was in the presence of the angel, the worse he itched, and it was a struggle just to keep from fleeing the room. Finally, just when he thought he couldn't stand it, he whirled to Renei and signed frantically, <"Can we get back to work? Please?">
Renei nodded when Harold asked to leave. <"Tell Sylvia that she can just tell me who to get in touch with and I can take care of the search. I wouldn't want to be a bother."> His face was almost comical, the way that relief and consternation fought for dominance on it as he conveyed her message. Still, she knew better than to laugh at him. It would only upset him further.☞☞☞☞

"Impaled in the race, in the paling face Where forked tongues pricked the skies Choking on these words as I slither to their ear A lightning strikes their blinded mains
I am not the hand of god... I am the thorn"Lee saw these two before in bits in pieces, but they never stuck around her. She felt great awe from one, who was human and silent.. The other a demon, who was beautiful, but she felt nothing more than irritation and the usual unfortunate trait that a demon has for angels resentment and prejudice. She saw him itch, and squirm at her presence. It made her sad, and look down at the ground, for she had great sympathy for she also felt the great pain for those born as damned. She knew he was born that way, and actually had a heart under the flames of which he hid behind. It saddened her to know that he would most likely always react this way toward her presence, for they were opposite races. She felt no judgment toward him, no anger, no fear, only interest and curiosity for this creature. She had met demons, she had talked to to Satan himself after she fell from earth. "Hurts like a b***h doesn't it?" He had told her when she got thrown from the sky and hit the ground like an fallen star. She found out he wasn't what everyone said he was....He was evil alright, but he wasn't the worst of evils she had seen or smelt or dealt with.. You said the wrong thing huh? Well obviously just a couple of things.. Gabriel got it worse he has to rip the souls out of people for eternity serving him...I started a fight and now I have my own kingdom wouldn't trade it for the world! You now have your own choice.. So don't be sad.. Do what you wanted to do..Be who you wanted to be, and make the changes that he never let you.. He did you a favor. Lee would never tell a soul this, but the b*****d was right. He mocked her and laughed at her, but his words were true. She looked down when the demon and the girl walked away she knew it was to get away from her, she could smell it in the air.. Prejudice, it broke her heart, a tear left her eye. So you need help? She said to Sylvia in a more desperate helpful tone now to hide her pain, not pushy, just to help them both out. She couldn't stand the tension, but she knew she would get used to it, this was her first week. Perhaps the demon would eventually be able to hear her voice and not flee from her eventually, or perhaps that was just a hope and a dream of hers of peace that would never ever come true.

╚══════════════╝ They left together and headed back to Renei's new office. Renei could see the relief on Harold's face as soon as they left the Records Office, and by the time they were down the hall, he was completely back to normal.
<"What was all that about? You were so twitchy back there."> Her face was curious as he opened the door to her office and gestured for her to go inside. She did so, putting her armful of files on her desk. The office was bare, since she hadn't been there for very long and thus unable to accumulate all the clutter that offices tended to have. He followed her inside and signed, <"It was the angel. I'm... Well, I guess you could say I'm allergic to them.">
That only made Renei look more puzzled and she motioned for him to explain it better. He sighed, and signed, <"Demons are exact opposites of angels in every way. When one is in the presence of the other, they can feel it. It's kind of like when you hold two magnets just far enough apart so that they don't join, but they're tugging on each other.">
<"But you're only half demon, right? That doesn't help?">
Harold grimaced at Renei's observation. There were some perks to being only half demon, such as not requiring that he eat meat as close to raw as possible, or have the ability to withstand the touch of silver. But there were also drawbacks. <"Not really. In this case, it makes it worse. When you saw the angel, you felt awed and a little intimidated, right?"> Renei nodded, obviously having no idea where Harold was going with this. <"That's a natural reaction of a human to an angel. Since I'm also half human, I should have that reaction too, yes?">
Renei considered this, then signed, <"That's a trick question, though. You looked more like you had fleas or the chicken pox, not as if you were in awe.">
<"Exactly. Since I'm half and half, both of the reactions that humans and demons have to angels kind of mix together and come out in this sort of itching sensation all over me. The longer I'm near one, the worse I itch. And it was really bad because she was such a powerful angel. It felt like my skin was crawling with little prickly things, and it was driving me crazy. So it's a little like I'm allergic to them. The same thing happens when I'm in churches or near holy or blessed things, but not quite so severely.">
<"I guess that means you don't like angels, huh?">
<"I wouldn't say that. I guess you could say I feel about them the same way a person feels about an animal they're allergic to. I don't really have an opinion about them one way or the other, except that I know I'll get really itchy when I'm near one."> Harold shrugged and tried to change the subject. <"So, how about those case files?">
Renei nodded and sat down, then began to spread them out on her desk and arrange them alphabetically. She flipped them open and scanned for the crime scene reports. Just as she thought, there hadn't been any signs of a struggle. That meant that the siren was able to get in close without being recognized as a threat. She wondered if Valery just took the time to get close to and befriend her victims or if she had some supernatural power that made them oblivious to the danger she represented.
As she looked over the files and thought about it, she tried to see some sort of pattern in the victims that might tell her who was likely to be the next target. So far, the only thing in common was that every victim had been an Underground Society member. Renei turned on her computer and began taking notes on the files.☞☞☞☞

"I'll take care of the calls. It's part of my job. There's a lot of numbers to call anyhow, and y-you two need to l-look at the other files to." Sylvia said before Renei and Harold left. Sylvia hadn't taken much notice of the actuall changes Harold went through, but did notice that he had fidegted more. After they were gone, Sylvia said to Lee, "If you w-want to help me call the other b-buildings, you can. Renei and Harold n-need an autobiography by a siren for a c-case they're working on."
Sylvia picked up a phone sitting on the desk and dialed one of the numbers for another building she had memorized. Pulling out the list of numbers from the desk drawer, the other line was picked up. "Hi, this is S-Sylvia Harrow from the m-main building. Do you have any siren autob-biographies? Two members need it for their c-case... You don't?... Okay, I-I'll be sure to call them. Thank you." Sylvia said into the phone before hanging up. "Well, that's one down..."Sylvia S. Harrow

Lee raised her eyebrow at the request. She never thought that calling people was a part of this job, way different of a culture for nonhuman creatures did on earth. She didn't question, this seemed to be an interesting way of getting further to things versus walking everywhere looking for things. The whole thing that had just happened was still on her mind. Something like an allergic reaction from her presence when he was just like her only of an opposite race to put in a nutshell? Why was it like that? There had to be a cure for that somehow if there was a case other than pure racial hatred, sometimes that wasn't always the case, certainly not without communication. She picked up the phone, "Do you have any Siren files there?"she asked the next venue of the next number down the list of files Sylvia was dialing the numbers from. "You do? How many?" She looked at Sylvia and motioned to her. "They have about five hundred file sirens the guy wants to know what kind..."

Ryoku was already off to the Engineer Lab after he found his room, leaving his stuff in his bed room only to be carring only his boxed shaped weapon straped behind him, and his data pad.
As soon as Ryoku was just turning around the corner with printed signs on the wall pointing to Engineer Lab, another man ran into Ryoku without even slowing down. Knocking down Ryoku, he looks up and see's a man in white lab coat, the tag on his coat said his code name reads his name and rank. He was a Geologist and his code name was Spark.
Looking back up at the Geologist, he gave a sign of frusteration expression, and didn't exactly give a friendly aura. "Get out of the way, I'm working here!", quickly already jogging on his way out without letting Ryoku give a chance demand an apology.
The Chief Engineer openned the metal sliding door only to see a young man on the ground. Realizing it was probably Spark knocking down people like always. Offering his hand to the young fellow on the ground.
Ryoku took his hand asking what was that Geologist problem, only to be told it was small disagreement issues with their projects together.
"So I take it you're the new guy right, Rocket was it?"
"Yeah that's me, I see you're in charge around these parts".
"Yeah, come on in to the lab, about time the sent someone with technological skills, Engineers are rare to come by into the society, you'll have your own work station." as the Chief Engineer gave Ryoku a tour around the lab.
"But...we have only one task, keeping this place in working order, so you can not act independently from the lab". Ryoku gave a low whine, but kept it to himself in his head.
After a while he gets set up in his work station area and suprisingly there were lots of equipment set up, some were old, some were new.
"You better be promising as they say you are, I heard you got a thing for computers too." Ryoku saw the chief still hasn't left as was getting famulier with his work area.
"Yeah, what about it"
The Chief told Ryoku to come along as they came into the main computer room filled with rows and dozens of large generators for the looks of it. "Probably this is where they keep data records of monsters", thought Ryoku. They came ahead to the main frame where there was the largest monitor was displayed. The chief was giving Ryoku a brief summary on what it is and how it works.
Without asking Ryoku pulled out his data pad and placed it on the ground, he pulled an long cord and attached it to to the main computer.
"Whoa, what are you-"
As soon as Ryoku hooked them both up, his data pad projected a 3-D hologram in the air displaying all information from his pad, and the computer. Ryoku began moving the text displayed in the air and submitted several monster from his travels.
"Doing...", the chief gave a small smile. "You know you might be just the right man in the wrong place". The chief was amazed at the 3-D technology and had to ask"How did you even wind up in this neighborhood new guy, you seem to have quite a talent that's way beyond normal engineer would ever be around here?"
Ryoku was silent for a moment thinking about what to respond, he stoped fidgeting with his hologram as memories flooded back into his head. Memories of the mistake that got his team killed for harmless inhuman beings get away.
"I...was relocated for...disobeying a direct order...", finished Ryoku. The chief felt a ping of sorrowness in the tone of voice.
"Well we can discuss it later, seeing you're the best tech expert, just don't plan on sabatoshing out equipment..." pledge the Chief Engineer, as he turned his back to Ryoku hopeing the new guy knew what he was doing.
"Na I'm just about to close up and get some shut eye-...wait...who's the idiot that set up the security system to gameboy level?"
(Uh kinda long, and a bit off track eh?)

"Dang, that's alot of files... I think they got all the ones for the siren they're a-after though," Sylvia said as she waited for the other line for the number she had dialed to pick up. The first line said to try the Western building for the book, since they were the ones who kept most of those types of things in their care. When a voice came over the phone, Sylvia answered, starting with the same introduction she had used earlier. "You wouldn't happen to have a-any siren autobiographies o-over there do y-you? Two Society members need one for a c-case they're working on... You do? Great! Can you send it over?... Yes, t-this is the main building. You can send it t-through mail. When do you t-think it'll be in?... Tomorrow? Okay, thank you so much! Bye." Sylvia said before hanging up the phoone. "The Western building had something. I t-think its what t-they were looking for." Sylvia said to Lee.Sylvia S. Harrow

Lee looked at Sylvia with a confused look as usual when things would just go by so quickly that she could hardly comprehend. She nodded.. "What does this have anything to do with a Siren? She asked curiously. She was confused here, so many things around here were always going on at once it was hard to keep track of anything. She felt stupid, but she knew that she would eventually get ahold of things.
