Alpha - Music Room - Thank God I'm on the Alphas She wasn't sure if any of them had actually followed her or not, but for a brief moment she found herself hoping that they decided to stay behind. She felt bad enough that there were two of her teammates in the room that saw her little outburst, one of them new. The last thing she wanted was for the others to think that she was some sort of emotionally unstable girl that let the littlest things get to her. But then, to her momentary angst and then happiness, she heard Rob's voice next to her, asking her about her musical history and choice in instrument. She let out a laugh, sniffling and running her fingers back through her bangs to get them out of her face. " Since I was little actually. I don't remember much about my parents, but I remember my mom really liked Jacqueline du Pre - she was a famous cellist. I guess I just started playing because I thought the music was beautiful. And the cello is such a passionate instrument - it has such a range and can play pretty much any type of piece and portray any emotion. Not to mention, it looks great on a college resume." She meant the last part as a joke, but it was completely true. She'd even written one of her personal statements on her connection with the cello and it's impact on her life. Of course, a lot of it was a bit…exaggerated, but the admissions board would never be able to tell. Leonardo approached, offering his words of wisdom for the situation. Apparently, her facade was wearing thin today - but at least she found herself surrounded by friends. Of course, his validation of her mental acuity would go a long way to improving her mood. What girl didn't like compliments from cute boys? Offering him a genuine smile, her hazel eyes moved over to Aurelie, to whom she realized she had never been properly introduced, as he mentioned that they were about to head out for some adventures in town. She wanted to make sure that she wasn't interrupting anything - though the girl was just as friendly as she could ever want. When she said that no one likes Cissa anyways, so she shouldn't even worry about what was said, Raine laughed, brown hair falling about her shoulders as she tossed her head back slightly. As the girl introduced herself, affirming the offer to accompany them into town, she gave her a genuine smile as well. It was then that Tsukino entered the room, setting up and singing a pretty recognizable song. It was amazing how many of them had some sort of musical talent - why didn't they go on tour or something? Raine offered the girl a small smile before turning her attentions back to Aurelie, wanting to let the girl practice in peace. " Aurelie - that's such a pretty name, though I'm sure you hear that all the time. Anyways, I'm Raine. I'd love to go, but I don't think going out in the pouring rain would be the best idea. Especially when my powers aren't completely under control at the moment. But you guys go ahead and have a great time. Hey, are you all going to Roland's dinner tonight? It seems like everyone in the whole academy is invited." When Tsukino's song was over, she offered the girl another smile, though then another song resonated from the doorway, Raine turning to see Varis. He was leaning there, singing in gaelic - as if she had any doubt of his national origin before. He finished as well, finally entering the room. It was suddenly getting pretty crowded - funny how any other day of the week it would be virtually abandoned. With this much musical talent around, it was going to be that much harder to get a quiet practice space from now on.

Name: Leonardo "Renaissance Man" Rossi Team: Alphas Location: Music Room What’s With All of the Singing? Aurelie confirmed that she wanted to go off campus and go do something. The question of his favorite spot outside of the school came up… and frankly, Leonardo wouldn’t be able to answer it. He hadn’t been into town much… actually, not at all. Leo had been devoting the past six months to studying and training. Getting outside the walls of the mansion hadn’t really occurred to him until just now. Still, he would guess it would some sort of secluded restaurant where few traveled… somewhere with a corner seat… he liked having his back to the wall; paranoia and all of that. Leonardo was glad to see that his speech hit home to Raine… at least he knew that his experience in S.H.I.E.L.D. could help people… but you know, not in the elbow in the face sort of way. It seemed to brighten her mood somewhat, and that’s all Leonardo needed to know that he succeeded. Aurelie then seconded his proposal to allow Raine to go with them to wherever they were going, which she politely turned down because of complications with her ability. Leo should have thought of that… his old S.H.I.E.L.D. teammate Emma used to have the same problems… but not to such a grave extent. The only time he had ever seen it in action was when she was doused in water for torture… but that’s a story for another time. Then someone started singing… turning around, Leonardo saw that it was Tsukino singing… something he couldn’t exactly identify. It was rather random to say the least. Yeah, sure, it was the music room… but wasn’t there some sort of conversation before breaking out into song? Leo found this odd… oh wait… had they suddenly been teleported to another dimension? Some sort of dangerous, horrifying dimension where everyone broke out into song? Leo shook the feeling off. No… that was ridiculous. Right? No… because then Varis started singing… and not just randomly singing, but randomly singing in a different language. Leonardo’s heart beat went up slightly… oh god… this was worse than Halloween Town! After taking a few deep breaths, Leo told himself to calm down… everything was okay. This wasn’t an alternate reality… it was just his new teammates were… eccentric. Yeah, that was it. Leo looked over to Aurelie, and he hoped that she didn’t start singing. “Well, sorry you can’t come Raine. Maybe on another day, huh?” he looked back over to Aurelie, giving a sharp nod towards the door. He wanted to get the hell out of there before Zac Efron… or worse, Justin Bieber… showed up. Leo started to slowly make his way towards the door, using small back steps to give Aurelie the hint. Raine mentioned something about Roland making dinner. “Roland’s dinner? I don’t think I’ve heard about that. Maybe we’ll drop by later.” And with that, he turned fully around, giving a short wave to Tsukino, Varis, and Rob before stepping out into the hallway. He waited to see if Aurelie would follow or not.

I am temperamental And I have imperfections And I am emotional I am unpredictable, I am naked I am vulnerable, I am a woman Code Name: Siren Team: Alpha Location: Music Room - Then Towards the Library Ability: Sound Manipulation Singing: Fire bad-- Tree pretty █║▌│█│║▌║││█║▌│║║█║█║▌│█║▌│║║█║█║▌│█│║▌║││█║▌│║║█║█║▌│█║▌│║║█║ Eventually… Isabella seemed to find herself alone on the bleachers. She waved to those that came and went… Bidding Gideon a playful smile, and a chaste kiss to his cheek as he left… But after a point… There was no one left that spoke to her, except the wind carrying far away conversations to her that she shouldn’t know about. Thankfully, Isabella was a kind…Tactful person… Otherwise, there would be some very embarrassing stories far more public than they should be.
The songstress could smell the ozone in the air... Cautiously, her emerald eyes glanced towards the slowly graying sky… There were some of the elementary kids in the far left side of the court yard cleaning up some equipment from mutant ball. Paige Guthrie watched over them, carrying a whistle that she blew every so often when they got too rough… They were too young to be sent home for the holidays with unexplainable bruises and burns.
For those of them that had a home to go back to, that is.
She contemplated just…Remaining on the bleachers, remaining in the rain when the storm came… Just to… Relax somewhere quietly-- Even if it was soaking wet... But that was before her comm went off, with a nasty message from Narcissa. But it wasn’t just her comm… She heard dozens of them go off in the distance. Of course. The woman loved an audience—Of course she would broadcast such an insult. She stared at the electronic device on her wrist…Unbelieving, that already, before dinner had even hit—There was already a problem.
Truth be told…Things had been so hectic with outside threats…She’d made the very, very stupid mistake of not warning the new members about the dangers inside the Academy.
Namely, warning them of the Omega leader.
That was her fault—It was all on her head, if something happened to one of them. No matter what happened, no matter who’s fault it was…No matter what was said.
It was her job to protect them, warn them.
Her hands tightened into small fists as Narcissa’s words made her frown deepen, her tones filled with vitriol… As par usual, insulting to her team members. To herself. A deep seated anger started to burn within her, one that was…Unfamiliar, and somehow like an old friend. Usually she could ignore it… Let it go—Be the bigger person as Scott put it.
But today it just grated on her last nerve.
For years… Even before leading a team…When they were both newbie’s themselves, she’d put up with Narcissa’s cruelty. Mostly because she’d actually been friends with her team leader—And that bond had kept her rear out of the fire dozens of times over… Bella wasn’t sure what it was…Narcissa’s own insecurities coming to a head, or just that her heart was made of ice. Long ago….Isabella had pitied her. Pitied her, because of the slew of awful things that had happened when they were teenagers… Because of the former Omega leader—The one that came before her—The one that had made her into the beast that she was now.
She’d always been rude, short tempered… But it was only getting worse with time.
Isabella was tired of the unwarranted ire being leveled at her team. Especially at new members, who didn’t know any better. Who, Narcissa knew—Didn’t know any better. She was taking advantage of their unintentional ignorance and exploiting it.
If she lost one more Alpha, because of the blond… Bella shook her head, her lips pressed into a thin line as her eyes went flat…If she lost… Just -One- more…
Her palm came down hard on the metal bench, the sound echoing unnaturally as she pushed herself up, auburn hair swirling in the wind as she moved swiftly—Her form blurring, as if her edges were sketched and smeared by an artist painting as she came to her feet—Walking towards the school with enough poise to give any ballerina a klutz-complex.
Her resolve was forming, as layer after layer of insults came back to her… How she’d even thrown herself at Gideon while they were on Catalina—Just to spite her. And that had been before the drugs.
Anger was strange emotion for Isabella… Of course she’d felt it before…Dealt with it many times. But she never indulged it long… She didn’t let it take her over, give her tunnel vision. She believed in keeping a clear head… In keeping neutral. She took a lot of Scott’s examples when it came to leading her team… But enough was enough.
She walked into the school briskly, moving in a straight line—The quickest route to the music room...Why? Because she'd been able to follow Raine's footsteps from the Library, the moment the message was sent...She knew any of the Alpha's that she'd been around a week or more, by footstep alone... She had a photographic memory when it came to sounds.
She pressed a button on the side of her comm, and used her ability to move it to the right frequency-- Too unnerved to do it manually. Not bothering to announce herself, her voice was something Narcissa would know… She uttered one sentence, the faintly Latin lilt to her words more prevalent because of the sharp tone she used. “You and I need to have words, Solaris.”
The auburn haired woman used her ability to move faster than the average individual... And came to a stop just in front of Leonardo-- Her expression strangely hard. Isabella loved life... Loved her friends-- Loved her teammates. She wasn't the hard, mean person that being the leader of the Alpha's demanded of her... Visually she scanned the man, taking note that he was fine-- Before she moved to the doorway beside Varis-- Who oddly enough had just stopped singing. She would have found it entertaining, endearing, even-- If she wasn't preoccupied with making sure that her team members hadn't been made examples of.
"You're all fine?", she questioned-- Letting her eyes tell her the story. If any of them would have been touched by Solaris...Injured by her, they wouldn't be able to hide it. Usually when Narcissa threatened.. She followed through. Her eyes lingered on Raine a moment, before they flickered towards Aurelie-- Unsure of who had been in the library or not... It was the quickly fading footsteps she followed. Rob, the quiet one-- And Tsukino were also there... All in good health.
She breathed a faint sigh of relief, her eyes closing for a moment-- Before she smiled faintly, trying to ease the tense expression on her face for their benefit... Despite the anger that stirred her. Gently, she caught their attention..."Listen, All of you..."
"I don't have many rules... I really don't. But for your own good...Stay, away, from Narcissa. I know that she likely started it...But...", she sucked in a deep breath, choosing words that Scott had drilled into her. The same warning.
She felt hypocritical then... Because she was about to do the very opposite. Silently, she apologized for that to those present... Practicing what she preached was always something she tried to do. But it was necessary, to give them that warning... Narcissa pushed people until they snapped... And then decided to finish the fight in the most damaging way possible. Isabella would never agree with her leader status being reinstated so soon after Limbo... And this was a prime reason why. But Emma had her reasons... And as Scott had often playfully intoned...Emma got her way.
"But. Be the bigger person. Fighting with her won't get you anywhere-- Except, a weeks stay in the infirmary... And a shiny new target on your back when you're free." "I'll... Take care of her for now. Just try and enjoy your day.", She didn't wait for a response, but smiled again at them all... Though nothing in her emerald eyes showed anything akin to humor... Turning, she slipped back between Varis and Leonardo-- Headed straight for the Library.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Team ↠ AlphaxxLocation ↠ The Kitchen Eli continued to eat the delectable treat, or so he thought it was delectable. So much peanut butter in between the toasted slices, each bite oozing out the peanut butter, perfectly mixed with honey and bananas spilling over. As he downed the last bit of sandwich and licked the honey and peanut butter off his fingers, he heard someone yell "Hey, you're that one guy!".
Deducting that, he only recently returned and someone recognized him, he shifted his head over a bit to see Jacen waving. Eli in turned waved over, and with a dry mouth responded, "Hey man, how've you been? I'm terrible with names, but I do recognize your face, you're the omega guy with the octopus mutation, correct?" He asked. The people who had the mutations or transformations intrigued him a lot. He wasn't sure what it was. But they fascinated him; of course, the science nut of a side to him.
Hopping off his chair, Eli moved to the sink dropping the plate and empty glass of milk into the porcelain cleaning center, only after he had clean the sandwich contents that spilled over by licking them up. Then returned his attention to Jacen. "How goes it? ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ If you could flick the switch and open your third eye, and see we should never be afraid to die. Omega Cafeteria Trying to get to know people. Orchids powers were pretty cool. ”Oh my. That’s really neat…and practical to boot. Bet it saves money on getting it cut and colored.” Okay...Megan was a little jealous her hair tended to keep straight and didn’t take a curl really well. She tried to die her hair a darker color and it simply bled out and wouldn’t keep the color so she gave up on that idea. So Megan just tried to keep it at a manageable length and only used curlers when she had to make herself look nice. Megan laughed and held up a clawed hand. ”It’s easier for me to eat finger food then try and wrestle with a utensil.” Then again she usually could eat with her fingers she just had to make sure she washed really good. Spoons were the toughest for her to manage for a lot of logistical reasons. ”Pizza is always good. It’s a shame there weren’t any peppers on it. Or if they had any it’s already gone.” Megan had a taste for spicy foods and usually for her it was the hotter the better. On the subject of Narcissa both Orchid and Christian had their opinions and they made Megan chuckle a little bit. ”At least it won’t be boring...” Then she got the broadcasted message and it became clear that the Omega leader had no problem speaking exactly what was on her mind. Megan wasn’t sure if she should laugh or be nervous. She drew in a breath. ”Yyyyeeeeppp...not going to be boring at all.” She nodded at Kerrigan when she mentioned the danger room session. ”Keep your head down, nose clean and follow orders. I can handle that...no problem...what I can’t handle...fine crystal and any fragile, easily broken or scratchible items...” Hey, if you couldn’t laugh at yourself then who could you laugh at. Besides she had people ask her to handle such items when she first got here. It didn't go so well. So with that it was time to do something about the last slice of pizza. She applied the remainder of her condiments to it and began to eat.

ℜ@√℮ Ѻмεℊα- Conversing with the enem- Alpha "Not doing anything wrong, but you look very suspicious doing that." Leion said his stance still a casual neutral as he looked the other boy up and down. He saw his eyes look him up and down and glance towards nearby puddles, not that Leion could make anything out of that small motion. Leion's eyes brightened in color for a moment "There's no need to worry about me, worrying about attacking unless you attack first." he thought that statement over in his head after saying it, but it didn't sound like he had meant it to. "But there are less suspicious ways of getting a better view just so you know." though that was a bit hypocritical of him to say since he knew Jacen climbed the building all the time, in fact it had just happened earlier "Leion of the Omegas, you?" Leion asked realizing that he hadn't introduced himself or asked the other guy's name yet. When questioning someone suspicious wasn't that one of the first things you were supposed to do? Leion didn't have to much practice with that, then again it's not like he was a police officer or ever been sent off to question people alone. Leion + James ~ Evans

He thought about it and then realized that it was possible, but he was only minding his own business. He was minding his own business when those angry people came at him too...Well he had to stop doing that for the moment. It was good to know he wasn't doing anything wrong. It was better to know he wasn't going to attack unless he attacked first, so that sort of made him leave his defense up state a little. He still had reasons to keep his guard up.
"My name is Marcel. I'm an Alpha." The other did introduce himself which made his inferences correct about him being an Omega. It was also good to know he wasn't going to attack him for being on the opposite team or anything. Then again; he had yet to find that out, which made him nervous and brought his guard up just a little bit more. It didn't hurt to ask him about the place or pry information from him. It was better than doing what the others were doing for the moment. They were talking about singing before they departed for their destinations last he checked. That sent so many awkward vibes down his spine. He liked music, but him singing just felt odd and he wasn't for it.
"I'm..." he said trying to word everything right. He wasn't really good at explaining things thoroughly enough. It usually left people trying to figure out what he was trying to say. Omega, Location: Kitchen Long story short.
Jacen gave Roland what he would expect to be a summarized story of his life. South Pacific islander, with an octopus mutation, interesting. He thought to himself as he took in that information. He pondered to himself if he had any overt physical characteristics that could identify him with his ability. He remembered in a lot of his fights those that had an animal mutation they tended to have characteristics or features that resembled the animal they were similar to. Giving him a quick run-over with his golden orbs, he noticed nothing overt at the moment. Likely in combat these characteristics would show up, but for now it was nice to know that if he was stuck in the water he’d have someone to lend him a hand. Narcissa’s anger-fuelled rant over the comms were, in the exact definition of sarcasm, a wondrous tune to Roland’s ears. He could feel the hate pour through the speaker. It was truly, one hundred percent, brutal, hatred.
Without missing a beat: “I’ve heard of Muir Island, I’ve heard it’s an interesting place, then again we’re in a pretty damn interesting place as well.” he remarked, “And good to know you are good in the water, I’m not much of a swimmer to tell you the truth.”
When Jacen asked about his deal, he decided to just go with what he thought, “Well, I grew up in New Orleans for the most part. I was given up by my parents to a bookie to settle a gambling debt. When my powers activated the age of 8, my “dad” had me put into mutant-on-mutant cage fights in which people would bet on whether I lived, died, or I wound up killing the other guy. My powers are simple: I generate protective armor that enhances my abilities a bit, and I can generate weapons when needed. However, I can only maintain them for so long, before my metabolism goes into overdrive in order to maintain the armor.”
After a pause, he then added in where Logan fit in, “I guess you could say that Logan kind of feels responsible for me. He found me after my last fight, bloodied up and in all kinds of hurt two years back. He brought me here, and after two years of physical and mostly psychological therapy, I stand before you now.” Well, that felt good to be able to say that, almost like a weight had been lifted off his chest.
As he told his tale he failed to notice that someone else (Eli) had entered the kitchen, finishing up a sandwich he made himself. He recognized him as someone from the party, he had the face but not the name. He hated that kind of thing.
“Hey you were at the party last month right? The name’s Roland.” he extended his hand out to shake, he remembered he was an Alpha but he felt obligated to make friends with people, regardless of teams

Daylia Astralloxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Team Omegaxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Location: Mess Hall, daw, my cupcake is gone. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Daylia had indeed noticed that two Alpha's, Tara and Dimtiri, who had also taken note of her. Dimtiri she remembered from their little trip to Halloween Town. She had spent most of her time there handing with him, though the other girl she didn't know too well. She had been the zombie, right? That was all Daylia could recall about her. She smiled back to them before making a 'cheers' gesture with her chocolate cupcake. They hadn't really invited her over, so she stayed where she was, noming on her cupcake.
Daylia watched the people come and one, one of which had included someone she hadn't seen on the teams before. A new member? Though of course for what team she didn't know. A sigh passed her lips as she licked the frosting off of her fingers, savoring the taste of chocolate. She eyed her tray for a moment as she decided what to go for next. It was the hamburger. She doused it with ketchup before taking a bite.
More people came, though this time it was some from her own team, Kerrigan. She had motioned for Daylia to join her, and her soon to be possy. "Hey." Daylia said in a simple greeting. Their tables were close enough that she felt getting up and moving would just be a waste of energy. She watched as the others joined Kerrigan at the table. So there were other new members for their team too? Nice, at least Daylia wasn't the newest anymore.
Daylia couldn't help but chuckle as Kerrigan finished her food and lifted the question ban. Her eyes went to her com though as a voice sounded through it. It was Narcissa, the Omega's fearless leader. She winced slightly at the harsh words, and instantly felt bad for Bella. She didn't really understand why the two teams were so against each other, the Alpha's that Daylia had met were nice enough, especially Bella. But then again, Daylia hadn't been on the team long herself, though the bias feelings wouldn't affect her much, after all it was her policy to treat others nicely until they did something to piss her off, and so far, there was nothing to be pissed about.
After the boss's voice left the com, Daylia turned her attention back to the others, and of course one of the first questions out of their mouths was about their leader. She couldn't help but laugh at the comment offered by another member, Christian. There wasn't much for Daylia to offer there, so she just listened. Another one of the new members spoke up, saying something about wishing their boss was terrible. She shook her head, listening to Kerrigans explanation of their boss. It was interesting to hear how others interpreted Narcissa.
A small sigh Escaped Daylia's lips as she continued to eat her hamburger. It wasn't as good as the chocolate cupcake she had finished off, but it was better than just eating a whole bunch of sugar like she wanted. ""

Omega Ability: Psychic Laceration Location: Library- Danger zoooone. ”You have so little faith in me, Aren.” Dominik countered, the ‘loan shark’ comment causing his countenance to give way to an obviously feigned bout of hurt. It slipped quickly, however, since between his present situation with Cissa, and the amusement he found in his friend’s quips he couldn’t very well hold onto any guise for too long, ”But you’re absolutely right. I definitely don’t give anything out for free.”
”Wait- the housewives of what now?” Olive irises flew to his team leader’s face again—a feat not difficult to achieve, since she still insisted on using him as her personal throne. Obviously, the reference had flown far over his head, the Slovene teenager not so keen on television…much less reality television. That s**t was…well, s**t; no way to put it eloquently, so far as he was concerned.
Aren soon provided the Slovenian with a small segment of reprieve, however temporary, and the young man lifted his gaze to trace circles in the ceiling…he wasn’t even going to touch the damn threesome idea; not when he could opt for silence and hope (fruitlessly) that Narcissa would forget she was sitting on a person, rather than a chair. What drove his attention back to the scene, this time by his own volition, was the segue to the blackmail topic… Dominik’s eyebrows rising yet again as the blonde offered a brief explanation. Something in her words immediately caused the Slovenian’s body to tense, his eyes to flash just briefly- slathered in a malice which most, if anyone at all, would understand. It wasn’t necessarily anger on Narcissa’s behalf—but that sort of exposure…that invasion into someone else’s privacy…
In Dominik’s eyes, almost nothing could be worse or more worthy of punishment. ”Good.” He murmured, the idea of the kid being gone from the Omega’s obviously setting well with him. Ultimately, the guy should have counted himself as lucky; as much as Narcissa might refuse to bring physical harm to her teammates…Dominik held no such qualms. She did well not to let his name slip.
Cissa seemed abundantly less concerned with the situation, however (albeit still very much enveloped in the antics of the Alphas still lingering nearby), her head whipping in a way that bade flaxen tresses to tumble over her shoulders, a chuckle indicating that she found his query amusing…
—probably not a good sign, actually. Sandy eyebrows quivered and furrowed when she asked him to list off the classes he currently sported an ‘F’ in, the answer requiring a little thought…seriously, he really didn’t linger on that s**t. At all.
”Uhm,” The first word which left him, if it could even be called a word, indicated this plainly, ”Right now…” He tilted his head languidly to the side, lengthy tresses masking yet another thoughtful expression, ”…Tactics,” Scott was a ******** bore; Aren could attest to that, ”Algebra…” He had no issues with math; he had massive issues with homework…
”…Gym.” And then the follow up –which never failed to make his Native American friend crack up, ”Again.” Yes. He was repeating phys ed. As in, he’d already managed to fail it once over. The young man threw his team leader a slightly helpless shrug, already anticipating the sort of reaction such an admission would spawn,”Apparently, you have to actually show up to that class to pass it.” And he could count on one hand just how many times he’d done that so far.
”A C?” Seriously? He couldn’t help the dismay which radiated from the statement, head again falling back against base of the chair. Done. Defeated, ”I guess that means I can’t skip s**t anymore.” Which meant that, inevitably, life was about to get a little more dull, wasn’t it?
Were he asked, Dominik might have claimed that nothing could have presently distracted him from the despondence which a ‘C’ average birthed in him—and he would have been <********. Wrong. Narcissa’s lips against his cheek sent him thrashing back into reality, the heat which seeped from them forcing a few perplexed blinks on the Slovenian’s behalf. Almost instinctively, his mouth fell open to drop more assertions about personal space…only for him to snap it shut just as quickly, the realization that it’d be fruitless catching up before words could truly form. Again, Dom’s brow furrowed, the look now so imbued in him that he feared it might become permanent; her breath was hot against his ear, and when he spoke he ******** prayed, that the words would be in English,
”Glad to hear I’m good for something.”’Huh. Maybe there is a God.’
It was all he could do not to laugh at the ‘retard comments’, the Slovenian somewhat determined not to fan the flames between Alphas and Omegas any further. He…honestly didn’t care; to do so would indicate that he gave a s**t about much of anything outside of his own little bubble, and those close to him –Gasper, in particular- would attest with much chagrin to that simply not being true. But his sense of humor was admittedly skewed, so the slight struck him as funny regardless.
Narcissa’s eyes lit up suddenly, and the expression which drew over her pretty little face did well to reveal the genre of thoughts which lay beneath them—for a moment, Dom wondered if she’d forgotten about her little promise not to singe his pants. And despite the lack of heat drifting from her, he wondered if he should take advantage of his strength and move her gingerly to the seat next to him. But opted against it; in the long run, it might not be the healthiest choice.
Breath filtered from him again when she started speaking into her comm, letting her anger fall instead to the Alpha leader. ********, if he could come out of this day alive, and without permanent scarring, he really didn’t care who fell victim to the diamond heiresses’ anger. Bella sounded back almost immediately, her words hinting at a soon-to-be confrontation, and again the Slovenian’s spirits sank. If she was coming to them, then he wasn’t quite out of the woods yet.
”For the record, I passed Government.” By some miracle, or perhaps just with Kitty Pryde’s sympathy—either way, it ******** counted. ” So I’ll let you two be, so far as the whole tutoring thing goes…” Whatever Aren’s thoughts on the matter, Dominik found no joy in the idea of anyone tutoring him, much less Narcissa. Especially if she insisted on doing so from her current position.
The situation was awkward enough already.

Scorch Robert Mason Jr.
Alpha - Team Music Room - Location Contemplating what happened in the Library - Currently Rob found himself oddly captivated by the brief summary Raine gave as to why she chose the cello. Even so much as to offer an honest chuckle at the obvious joke at the end. He didn't even like the classical rubbish. Well... most of the time, anyway. He discovered found out a while ago, that if he was around someone playing an instrument, regardless of what they were playing, he'd stop and listen and probably enjoy it. That was when Leo approached, offering consolidation and compliments, and Rob's focus eventually took in Aurelie as well. Apparently they were headed out. Rob failed to see the logic in escaping the academy in the weather that was currently brewing, not to mention to current anti-mutant campaign. He had to have been feeling sick or something, for again, foresight told him going out now was an idea worth passing on.
Then a voice broke in, and after turning around, he saw that it was Tsukino's. Now, an instrument was one thing, Rob could quite easily lose himself in the prowess of a practised musician, but seemingly random singing? Rob did the polite thing and kept quite with his opinion. Yep, he had to be sick, maybe some kind of cold. When her song ended, conversation took over again, leading to something about a dinner. Again with the awkwardness of being new. Rob brought a hand to his face, hunting down a phantom itch as he considered just how long this day would be if he kept running into that wall. Not that that thought got very far before Varis broke in, responding to Tsukino's song with one of his own, and apparently in his own language. Yep, this was gonna be a long day.
Then the tone in the room changed drastically as a familiar voice drifted in. It would have taken Rob a while to place it if he hadn't seen it was Bella, team lead. That meet and greet already felt like it was years ago. A feeling that wasn't helped by the expression now worn by the once cheery Isabella. The warning... The talk that she gave almost made Rob's stomach drop from guilt. Almost. Maybe if he really cared that much about Narcissa it would have. As it was, however, his current opinion of the Omega team leader was that she was an angry Chihuahua with a stick up her... Okay, so the talk had some effect on him if he couldn't even finish the thought. Definitely sick; maybe his breakfast was a little less than fresh? "She really knows how to lay on the guilt," he risked solemnly, ignorant to just how sensitive Bella's ability was. Her hollow smile had done a number on him, he couldn't believe the contrast from earlier. "Did... Did I do something wrong?" he asked modestly. Thinking back to the Library, he was the only one that had actually spoken out at Narcissa, and he'd do it again, he'd just rather be sure of how bad the collateral damage actually was first.

Now we're lyin' in the shade Sharpenin' the blades of our rivalry Untidy lies, they could never disguise The truth behind the door Feelin' grow nearer, then disappear again some more _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
The initial shock that washed over her couldn't be hidden from her features. The sweet girl that Aurelie may or may not have bruised her feelings was staring at them. Singing. Singing. Staring at them while singing. The telekinetic blinked once. Twice. Nope, this wasn't a dream. The Asian girl had just broke out into song, like she was a cast member of Glee.
Which made her want to listen to the lyrics, follow them the way the kids did in the show... and her heart definitely was behind what she uttered softly to Leo so that only he could hear. “Well... that is nice.. but I'm quite sure I won't be the most awkward duck on the team.” Though she said it, it was done with a light-hearted smile to indicate she wasn't being malicious. Just relieved, and she let a few of her walls come down when she knew she might fit in just a little better here now.
Varis too chimed in – his song not at all in ; and Aurelie felt as though she were in a real life musical. Were the teams always like this? She cast a wary look to Leo, the only one of the group that she knew at all. People didn't even do this at Julliard – a school for the arts.
Raine pulled Aurelie from watching the other two new alphas, remarking on her name. “Thank you.” She said, smiling graciously at the compliment. She'd not mention her given name (though now it'd been legally changed and eradicated from her records) had been Mary, a common name in her family's chosen sect. Her mother's name. “Yours is unique as well. Very pretty... and reminds me of spring time.”
At the invitation to dinner, the blond tilted her head. “I don't know who Roland is... I'd not want to intrude. But, I'll give it a firm 'maybe.' ” Depending on if Lexi wanted to go, because she had promised to have dinner with her. And one didn't start off on the wrong foot by being flippant with plans, even if they were made on the fly. “It sucks you can't go with us... but Leo promised me a good time on the town. I'll definitely share the details later.” In any other instance, she may have suggested they stay behind, work something out that the brunette might be able to partake in... but at the rate things were going, Aurelie might have been expected to do a dance number.
Bella made a cameo, only confirming what Aurelie must have heard a dozen times today. Do not engage in war with Narcissa Lucanea. After all the harsh commentary regarding the Omega leader, she didn't think she'd have one problem in making an effort to avoid the girl. If she was that volatile, the telekinetic didn't want to get into it with her. “What..?” She didn't have the chance to finish the question before Bella was gone.. What was she planning to do?
Rob asked if he'd done something wrong, and she clearly didn't have an answer for him; not knowing exactly what had gone down that had caused Cissa to go postal over the comm devices.
Leo's head bobbed towards the door – obviously he didn't want to be in the musical phenomenon that was apparently sweeping the school either. “Have fun practicing guys! You both sound really good!”
With that said, her feet made a swift departure of the room, and she breathed out a huff of relief. “A bit random... but at least we know it won't be boring on the teams, right?” She said, smiling as she rocked back and forth on her heels. “So, where to? And what do you think Bella meant, with the whole 'she'd take care of her' business?”

xxxxxxxxxx ➸ ▬▬▬ O m e g a ' s ☭ SIZE Shifting Native______________ Library, there will be casualties... book burning about to commencexxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
“No, Dom... I just know you well enough to know that a $2.50 bag of Doritos doubles in price.” Aren joked, shoulders shaking with laughter. The thought of this place being a library had long since been abandoned.
Aren shook his head at Narcissa's reference, knowing it had to be something that came on tv... something that Perez Hilton would be a part of. She went on to with the reference, and he could only guess that her calling him a girl was the least of insults she hurled at him. The Slovene , too seemed as genuinely confused as the native did over the housewives deal, and Aren allowed him to pose the questions over the matter. Normally when he asked about pop culture references, Cissa lied through her teeth to see if he'd believe her. But she turned to the native shortly after, talking about why blonds were teases instead of pleasers, which only caused the lopsided grin to grow enough to make his dimples more prominent on either side of his mouth. “I knew I always liked brunettes... it all makes perfect sense now.” His thumbs pointed back at his chest and his chuckle came out in a soft but deep timbre. “Native... poor. Free is always good.”
Her jibes only continued... and as always, Aren didn't back down. “I'd prove it to you, but you'd have to lose your status of being a tease, ki'somma.” He shook his head in feigned disdain, clicking his tongue against his teeth with a “tut tut” sound. “I can't go ruining your status now, can I?”
“But just so you know...” Aren started.. and then cocked his head to the side, as if considering something very important. “Oh never mind... it's not fit for your virginal ears.” Teases, after all... were too inexperienced to know some of the inner trade secrets. And Aren had a feeling, that no matter how close they got to this line... neither of them would be the first to cross it.
If only the fun could have stayed... if only. Going back and forth with Narcissa was becoming one of his favorite past times, but the new kiddos were ruining it for him. For shame, because even still, he couldn't bring himself to hate them merely because of the colors they sported.
Shocked that someone had been that callous didn't even begin to describe Aren's initial thoughts when Cissa recounted her experience with the blackmailer. “Good... I don't think someone like that belongs on a team.” The size shifter voiced honestly. “What on earth would he have hoped to accomplish by trudging up bad memories anyway?” Though his voice was even, he was pretty sure that if he caught wind of just who this kid was, he might be tempted to kick his a**. No one deserved to have something like that shoved in their face.
Dom had a minor freak out... and the native couldn't help but look smug at her remark back to him. “He'd not be of use to anyone else either. And there are lots of rumors flying about after his hopping on a stick for so long... ”
The dirty look she gave him about his logic however, wiped the smug expression from his visage pretty easily, if only for a moment before he bounced back. “Ki'somma.. you're positively cruel when it comes to competition, you know that?” So evil, it was cute. How could one tiny little slip of a woman be so nefarious all the time. “But if the SPED kid is a savant in a subject I need help in...” It wasn't that Aren was stupid – he just flat out hated anything taught by Scooter, and really, really hated American Government. (A name he found slightly racist in jest)
“But if that's what co-mingling is.. I'd love to see how my bolts fit with your bits, ki'somma.” He remarked happily, adding a “Sooner rather than later” shortly thereafter. She fluttered her eyelashes at him and Aren let his eyes go skyward. “Tease.” He let out, heaving a fake sigh, his face deadpan while he said it.
The Alphas nearby continued, and it only made for Cissa's mood to sour once again. She spoke into her comm, and his eyes only widened when she dropped his name. “Very civil ki'somma... I feel the need to be proud.” Because she'd not blasted one of them yet. Then again, none of them had pulled a gun on her or one of her team members. It was an experience he wouldn't recommend anyone else.
“I think, if you tutor me in US government, I'll need to teach you the hierarchy of tribal people. First lesson.. we don't call the leader 'captain' but 'Chief.' The Omega leader let the subject of the Alphas die there, taking an interest now in his course book. “What sort of fee do you look to incur upon me?” He asked suspiciously, knowing that it would be something she'd find immense amusement out of... and something that may make him have knots in his skull.
Dom went on to list the classes he was failing, and Aren couldn't help but snigger at the mention of phys ed. But he bent to Narcissa's will prettily easily, throwing in the proverbial towel on what grade would be acceptable. And watching the British woman plant a kiss on Dom's cheek? Highlight of his day. “Dom... when a woman kisses you, you're supposed to kiss her back.” He rolled his eyes, as though he were talking to a child. “And you probably only passed by the skin of your teeth.” Aren said despondently.
Bella's voice sounded... and Aren tensed involuntarily. This could not end well.. but his money, if he had any would go to placing a bet on Cissa. While Bella looked to be stronger – the Omega would do what it took to win. He cast a look at Dom, the gambler in him apparent.
He said nothing though, settling back into his textbook... “Might as well study until you fork over the notes.” He lied, not wanting to get into the middle of this.

So you think I'm alone? But being alone's the only way to be
Lorelle~Ace Team:Omega Location:Hallway/Cafeteria. Ability: Power-Augmentation ________________________________ “You wanted to see me, Ms. Frost?” Lorelle asked walking into Emma Frost’s office after closing the door behind her. Emma looked up from the files that she was reviewing on her desk to look at Lorelle… and what she was wearing.
“You never cease to amaze me with the clothes you wear.” Emma said looking up and down at the outfit Lorelle was wearing for the day- a dark green tank-top, jean shorts, black stockings with one or two holes, and a pair of combat boots that had seen better days.
Lorelle frowned a bit at her old teacher’s comment about her clothes; but didn’t say anything about it knowing that wasn’t why she was called here. “Anyway, I know this is late but you are being prompted to the Omega’s as of today. There is an orientation, but I am sure that it is over by now”she paused to study the girl over again before going on “Your team leader is Narcissa Lucania and hopefully the omega’s will have a danger room session soon…So you may want to get I contacted with her. Any questions, or comments?”. Lorelle stood there staring, at Emma like she had just told her the biggest lie on earth; but after a minute or two she knew that Emma was dead serious“No…?”.
The blonde nodded her head, went back to reviewing the files she had, and pointed to a com-unit on the edge of her desk “Well then Ms. Manson, have a nice day and don’t forget your new com-unit”. ~Time Skip: An hour later.~
She wasn’t to sure about her feelings on being promoted off her training team and onto one of the junior x-men teams. On the Brightside, this was a good opportunity to work out her ability more and use it more on other people. But on the bad side...“I could slow the Omega’s down.” Lorelle said out loud to herself in the middle of the hallway; musing over the meeting she had had this morning. After the news of her new team-placement she had went back to her room, called her roommate (who was gone for the week) to tell her she would be moving out of their room soon, and had picked up her sketchbook on her way to the cafeteria; thinking it would be best first to eat something before looking around for her new team leader and/or team members. The whole time thinking about the pro’s and con’s of being on the Omega’s. Shaking her head, as if she could shack her thoughts and worries away, she walked into the cafeteria headed straight for the lunch line.
Her lunch tray soon filled with a nice sized slice of chocolate cake, French fries, and a bottle of sweet tea. Walking around for about few seconds she spotted a table with five girls and a guy at it. The girl with the long red hair (Knoxx) looking a lot like the girl she had seen walking with a blonde one, who now that she thinks about it her roommate had told her was the ‘Fames Omega Leader’. Feeling brave and somewhat sure of herself, she walked up to the table and in her soft-spoken voice asked her“You’re an Omega…right?” then added lamely“I’m...new..to the team”.
She failed at introductions.
