.:Ophelia Mae Riviera:. Ophelia stepped into the room, pausing to look around. She was ill at ease being in an unfamiliar place, having lived on the reservation her entire life. Until now, at least. She sighted a woman behind the front desk and made her way over, her bag slung over her shoulder. "Excuse me," she began in her soft, even-toned voice. "Is this where I'm assigned a room?" she asked.

Looking up from the mass of books and papers, the woman gave a warm smile to the girl. The answer came automatically, with a simple, "Yes." Clearing her throat, she went on to ask her own questions in order to find the best dorm, "I take it you're new. Well, you can choose, would you like a roomate now, or wait until one is assigned later?"

.:Ophelia Mae Riviera:. Ophelia opened her mouth to reply, then hesitated. She was always taught to consider all options before making any decision. Spontaneity was not a part of Ophelia's vocabulary. "Waiting is fine," she finally replied, choosing the latter after a moment's silence. If she had to share a dorm, she would rather it be later, preferring the dorm to be an area of seclusion as long as possible. She knew she would be almost constantly surrounded by strangers, but she would take it slowly.

Nodding with the girl's decision, she glanced at the list of female dorms. "Alrighty, Dorm room Two hundred and twenty nine is open." Looking back to the girl, she asked, "Name please?"

.:Ophelia Mae Riviera:. "Ophelia Riviera," Ophelia replied with a small smile after a moment's pause. She had to hesitate a moment. It was the first time she'd used her full name in a long time. Back home, everyone who knew her called her Ollie. She chose to use her real name, knowing it would be a long while before she would allow anyone here to use her nickname. Room 229, she repeated in her head, beginning to feel some excitement. It was finally happening. She was officially here.

The woman nodded once more, writing the name in the wide book next to the number 229. Smiling she extended her arm across the desk, a key dangling from her finger tip as she said, "You're all set miss, welcome to Reed's." Letting the girl retrieve her key, she added the mandatory warning, as there had been a rash of pregnancies among the student body, "Just remember: No boys in the dorm after hours."

.:Ophelia Mae Riviera:. Ophelia gave a polite smile of gratitude as she gingerly accepted the key from the woman. She had just turned to leave when she heard the woman's additional statement. She blushed a deep crimson. "Oh..I.." she trailed off, flustered. She attempted to clear her throat and maintain her stature. "Of course," she replied, rather embarrassed. "Thanks," she said softly, pocketing the dorm key as she left.

.:Elijah Manuel Avila:. Elijah stepped boldly into the front office of the campus' dorms, his bag on his back. Walking over to the counter, he dropped the bag lightly to the floor. "Hi," he grinned. "I'm Elijah Avila. Here to see about getting checked in," he explained, needlessly, to the woman standing across from him. He assumed, of course, that she knew why he was there, but felt the need to explain himself, anyway.

The woman looked up from her book-keeping, giving a welcoming smile to the student. "Hello~" Pulling out the males dorm book, she glanced over it, "Well, we have plenty of dorms that need the second spot filled. Is that alright with you?"

Scarlet walked in the door with an odd shaped bag spilling with bits and bobs, and her vat Gabriel sitting on her hat. She looked around the room. It seemed the lady at the front desk was busy serving someone else, so she sat down and waited. Gabriel yawned, and complained, "why can't we just find our own room, it would be much easier." "Hush Gabriel," she whispered. "If people hear me talking to you before they know they might think im odder than usual." Gabriel huffed and lay back down on top of her head.

.:Elijah Manuel Avila:. "That's just fine," Elijah replied It wasn't the ideal situation, but he didn't have a problem with it. Besides, I won't be spending too much time there anyway, he reasoned.

The woman nodded, writing down the boy's name in the book as she said aloud, "Room one-hundred and sixteen. Your roomate will be Damian Collins." She retrieved the key and extended her arm, stating, "Remeber, no girls in the dorm after hours. And welcome to Reed's!"
Happily letting the boy go, she shouted, "Next!"

.:Elijah Manuel Avila:. Elijah smiled as he accepted the offered key. "Thanks," he grinned, picking up the bag beside his feet. Sure thing, he smirked at the woman's last comment as he headed toward the dorms. He wondered if he would run into his roommate, or if he would be able to drop off his things unnoticed.

Scarlet jumped when the boy talked to her. But then she saw that he was a vampire, and smiled. "Hello to you too, mister fangs." She winked, then jumoed up as the lady at the front desk called. 'Hello, I am Scarlet Raven Bloomfield, and I need a dorm. I understand the rules, and I will have no boys in my dorm, unless you count my cat Gabriel, and I am happy to wait for a roomate unless you already have one in mind." She stopped for a breathe. Then she turned around back to the boy and smiled.
