Haruki was surprised by a thought that wasn't his own and fell over backwards while he was trying to focus. But Liliana was right, he needed somebody he could trust and he'd be fine. He winced when Cain practically slammed in to a large pillar and closed one eye, the bleeding part was pretty rough. "Erm...mister? Do you want me to heal that for you?" Haruki asked timidly, he was still a little scared of Cain, but he was Liliana's friend so he couldn't be all bad.

She walked over to Dematrio, hoping to get to know him. "Hey Demetrio, I know a Cursed soul can eat, so why won't you? At least to set the others at ease." Aura returned with a medical person for Mikura and went back to Liliana's shoulder. She touched his arm to get a better picture of him. "You don't have to stand apart from those who wish to help and connect. It's what your father did." She wasn't able all of it but his father was a teacher as far as she could see. Liliana jumped and spun, groping for her missing staff, when Cain smashed his head into the wall. "Cain! Don't do that! You nearly gave me a heart attack! It's force of will, not physical abuse, that'll keep it at bay." She walked over and patted at the blood with her dress sleeve.

He gathered his Kuro Kotogara around himself and absorbed it. He would keep it under control, and inside his body until they started to train.

Haruki now supposed if he was going to be friends with Demetrio and not run away he should start by helping him. "U-uhm...Mister Demetrio? I-I could train with you s-since...since I'm an adept..." Haruki said with a nod. "It helps that I'm...I uhm...that I'm the king of Yuran too." Haruki still sucked at conversation. "I c-can help you learn a lot in a really short time!" Haruki offered, wondering if he could really help out here.

"King of Yuran?!"
Cain heard those words and turned to the Kiranu. In the past, Cain had served Yuran and was training to be one of their top gunslingers. But after meeting up with Liliana, he went rogue and never returned to his home. He shook his head.
"No...thats in the past..."
He turns to Lili.
"Do we have a place to stay or are we going to be setting out anytime soon?"

"It was...sudden, but I'm going to make Yuran stronger someday!" Haruki said with a certain sureness, this was his dream and he'd even sacrifice his life to see the world at least a bit happier. "W-wait, you don't need to bow, I'm just a regular kid." Haruki chuckled nervously, he liked being a nobody better, but here he was now.

Liliana didn't want to comment on Demetrio's outlook on him being "cursed" for all time. There was something in store for him and he would need to be the way he is in order to survive. Or maybe that had already happened. She would ask about it later. But she was surprised Haruki was willing to admit to being King of Yuran. Of course she had already saw it but that was something private for the young man. She instead turned to Cani. "I have my apartment here in the city. After some training, we'll all rest there until we set out again for something new." She was actually unsure where to go next and needed the chance to try and see where the world was heading.

"I guess I'll rest then."
He looked over at the little Kiranu.
"It must have been a while since I was last serving for Yuran. Although, the king didn't do much of anything to support the kingdom, so I wonder what will happen now."

"I won't let anybody down hopefully...I want to make a better place in the world, Yuran first though." Haruki said to Cain, he would protect Yuran with all of his might if he had to. "Whatever happens...it's my...erm...what's it called?" He didn't know how to say responsibility.
