Scarlett saw Justin look at her as she drank the blood. She licked the blood from her lips before speaking, "I'm a half demon vampire. It's a strange mix, ne?" She said with a smile.

Justin shrugged. "Not really. I've met a few people like that before. Granted, they all tried to suck me dry, but still." He said.

"Some were probably youngsters. I was attacked by some new borns myself when I was younger. Mother took them in a while and trained them to control their hunger." Scarlett said, drinking more of the blood.

Justin actually kinda smiled. Scarlett was pretty much the only vampire who DIDN'T want to drain him.

Scarlett returned to drinking the boar's blood. She turned to look out over the forest again.

Justin looked over to Scarlett, then shut his eyes. He decided to get a bit of rest to get his strength back.

Scarlett soon got tired. She closed the container and leaned back against the wall. She was asleep within the first minute.

A while later, Justin woke up, feeling better than before. He summoned a bit of lightning in his hands, smiling. "Well, my powers work." He said to himself.

Scarlett had woken up an hour before Justin and wasn't in the cave. It was dark out, only stars twinkling in the night sky overhead.

Justin walk out of the cave, meeting up with Scarlett. He looked up at the sky, feeling at peace.

Scarlett sat next to the river in view of the cave. Her hair had turned a midnight black, her eyes the melted color of chocolate. She didn't have the pointed ears or tail she usually did in her half state, but instead normal, slightly pointed vampire ears on each side of her eyes. She stared out over the water in thought, her chocolate brown eyes glazed over in deep thought.

Justin became bored, so he had an idea. He threw a lightning bolt into the river, watching the sparks glow and dance across the water. The lightning stood out against the darkness, and Justin smiled as he gazed at it.

Scarlett jumped, jolted from her thoughts. She fell backwards on the grass, then leaped to her feet. Her eyes had turned blood red in defense as she whipped around to look at Justin. She gave a soft sigh, her eyes returning to brown, "Try to give me a heart attack, why don't you?!" She growled, plopping down on the grass with her arms crossed over her chest.

Justin chuckled a bit. "You weren't so easy to scare when we were fighting." He joked.
