Darts limps towards the alleyway and the kid follows, before a voice breaks through the crowd. "Brandon!" The kid's obviously older brother has found him. "What are you doing with these..." he shoots Darts and Night an ugly look. "Types of people?" A gleam comes into his eye. "You weren't... battling were you?!" He grabs the kid's arm angrily.

"And just what 'type of people' are we?" Night asked the boy's brother, sounding as innocent as was possible for her. Caitlin had said she lacked the grace of a true Ninetales....yeah right. The only thing she hoped was that Darts wouldn't start laughing at her act and ruin the entire thing, "We're new to this region, you see, and Brandon, here, was just helping us read our map." To prove she wasn't completely lying, Night pulled out a folded map she'd swiped from a store a few days prior to show the boy.

Darts' face is as of the carven rock, except behind his glasses his eyes are watering as he tries not to laugh. So it should scome as little surprise when the older brother's rage doesn't abate. SHe yanks the kid by his arm. "What have I told you? I'm the battler of the family! You should just have stayed at home!"

Brandon struggles against his brother's grip. "But I want to battle too!" The older brother laughs.

"A worthless snot-nosed brat like you could never make it." He snarls, his face twisted up angrily.

"Hm!" The heat wasn't noticed all that much, at least when compared to the chi swirling around him. He moved back to avoid a potential attack, or at least made an effort to do so. "Have we agitated whatever's around?"

Ceramew felt the heat more than she did the chi, and responded by giving off an icy mist. She needed to start cooling herself down, now. "U-um... we're sorry, whoever you are. We can leave quietly if you want!"

Suddenly firecracker like bursts crackled where the chi swelled up, as if someone let off a pack of fireworks. As the little bursts stopped the laughing was heard again. Sub turned around just as the bursts stopped and looked at Sol and Ceramew confused. "Who did that?"

Akio was startled by the firecrackers, but these childish games of hide and seek were getting annoying. He shook his head when Sub asked who set off the fireworks. "I've had enough of this." he said and called out his Turtwig. The grass type appeared and looked prepped for battle. "Come out or I'll start tearing this place apart." he said harshly, but still in his even tone of voice.

"Tini!" Chimed a high pitched voice as chi began to swirl in the middle of the room. So much chi built up that is suddenly combusted into a ring of flames. The fire swirled around and burned for about a minute before it all collapsed inward and made another firecracker like explosion this time much bigger. As the explosion cleared a tiny yellow and orange creature with a V-shaped appendage on its forehead appeared. The strange creature bounced around a little bit before striking a pose as it held its fingers out in the shape of the letter V. "Victini!" It cried.

"What...what in the world is that?" Sub said as he took out his SNAG and attempted to scan the creature with the device's Pokedex function. The SNAG responds in a computerized voice. "No data available." Sub just stares down at the device in his hands dumbfounded and then at the creature even more so. "There is no data on it...what is it?"

Akio looked at the creature and recalled Turtwig. "Looks like a pokemon..." he said to Sub. "Probably rare, even for the Unova region." He was looking over the pokemon, interested in it, and wondering how powerful it was. He had never seen anything like it, or heard of anything like it before. "Is this...thing...what that knight was looking for here?" He wondered aloud.
