Garrett rested his shoulder casually against the wall, watching all the goings on around him. Hustle and bustle, wailing and crying, frustrations abound. It seemed that he wouldn't be able to take his piratey friend, the inugami was destined to keep watch over his room for now. One suitcase, eh, he could deal with that, although how he would bring all he may find and desire to bring with him was a little questionable. He figured he'd probably have to procure someone else's luggage, if need be. His brown eyes scanned the crowd, chuckling softly at some of the reactions of others to the rules and such of this field trip. Now, he couldn't say much. Last field trip was a fairly decent disaster for him, having been caught up in the train wreck and all. He'd laid kinda low since then but given the fact that this was a mandatory field trip, he couldn't very well sneak away like he'd hoped. So why not make the best of it? Any trip was a good time to make new.... acquisitions, so to speak, as well as acquaintances.
His posture was quite relaxed, and given the fact that he wasn't making a ruckus, he was fairly sure he wasn't garnering attention in this crowd. Shoulder rested against the wall, legs crossed at the ankle, arms crossed over his chest and a scheming little smirk upon his face, a single fang peeking out over his lip. The list lay rolled up in his fist as Greed stood closer to the back of the room, placing names with faces as he heard them tossed up. He hadn't gotten out much yet to make 'friends' other than the hellhorse Aedan, of whom he hadn't seen yet. Lazy bones was probably still asleep. He'd have to go and properly rouse him if he didn't see him soon, by barging into his room quite loudly and making all kinds of ruckus. Then too, he could always set his inugami loose in the hellhorse's room and see what kind of plunders and spoils the critter may find... Was quite the tempting idea actually, and thus prompted a larger grin upon the avarice demon's face, exposing the second fang to the room.

After a little while, Alwine finally had to look away from Mandy. In her surprise, the temperature flitted back to normal. "I'm so sorry!!" said the haunt. She was looking at an undead who didn't look too happy. In fact, he looked a little chilly. "I'm really, really sorry! I didn't mean-- I..." Alwine whirled around to look back at Mandy, then back to Efflo. "I'm so... oh my..." Alwine's senses were spinning in their embarrassment. What a first impression!

Sepheran smiled softly, he was glad to have such a considerate friend. Even so he shook his head, "That's a very nice offer Myr, but I think at least one of us should get some extra sleep, especially if this trip will be anything like our last trip..." Sepheran admitted. "Maybe I'll find some way to take a nap on the ship...I can hope at least," Sepheran added.
As Myr began to list off his clubs Sepheran was a bit surprised at how many he was in. "Well you are quite active aren't you?" he replied with a friendly chuckle. "No I haven't joined any yet, I've been contemplating which to join...maybe I'll join one you are in...which one do you think I should join Myr?" Sepheran asked curiously.

Tsetsiliya watched Arel walk off the stage and immediately started to feel doubtful about ever signing up on this trip. Granted, she had felt this same doubt upon deciding to embark on the Christmas Town raid as well, but back then she had no idea what she was getting into. As the other students began to mill about her, she glanced apprehensively towards the gnomes that were moving around between the masses as well. Would she know anybody on her boat? Did that even matter at this point?
Thinking back on the Christmas Town incident, she had ended up becoming particularly close with those who were in her car. So now, she was nurturing a secret hope that this would turn out the same way. Besides, perhaps news of signing up for this - whatever this was - would appease her parents, since they had been none too pleased with her during her last skelephone call (the poludnica remembered this with a touch of embarrassment, as it prompted memories of what had happened afterwards).
As a gnome passed by and offered a piece of paper, Tsetsiliya took the list and scanned it for her name. Ah, here she was - Boat 6. She didn't see any of her friends' names on the list, but there were a few that sounded vaguely familiar (one of them, she was certain, was the girl she had bid on at the Scarentine auction). Immediately she started to feel anxious - not that she minded meeting new people (or at least that's what she told herself), but why did situations such as these have to be so nerve-wracking?
As she silently studied the list and swallowed her nerves, she began mentally packing her smallish bag. She already decided to wear her warmest sash - she was definitely going to learn from last time.

"If you're sure." He was hoping against all odds that this would just a simple field trip, identify something new, come home, but he had the strangest feeling that it would be nothing of the sort. "I'm sure there'll be time for you to at least take a catnap."
That was a good question. What club would he recommend that Sepheran join? Hmm.
He thought about if for a few minutes. "Well, if you have any musical talents, you might think about trying out for Miseree, but I'd definitely recommend the Skullinary club even if you don't know how to cook. The Scario Kart club is cool too, but I don't know if you're into video games or not."
He tilted his head, pondering the other boy. "What are you interested in anyways?"

It had been rather amusing for Chuppi to get the note from the gnome (it was handed to her, as opposed to being shoved somewhere) and she arrived at the briefing with the best time as possible. She'd missed the last trip that the students had gone on and was determined to not repeat the incident; she wasn't wanting to be lonely again and miss out on a chance to have an adventure.
Of course she hadn't been able to initially read the boat listings until she'd asked someone for assistance, and even then it took her a minute to sort things out. She was on a boat with absolutely no one she knew, or at the very least with people she'd met very, very briefly. She honestly couldn't say that any of them were friends and therefore she couldn't depend on them for her nerves or support or whatever else would be happening on the boat. To top it all off that really hard and strict teacher, Professor Red, was going to act as the leader of that boat. Desu-chan was helping too, and she barely knew Desu-chan as someone other than a girl who was pretty extreme by Trick-or-Treating standards. The chupacabra was very much at a loss.
After getting everything in order and written down for reference the little monster started making a list of what she needed to bring along with her - her Thermos was mostly her main priority. Anything else could come secondary and perhaps even on the fly, if only she wasn't going to be worried the whole time to think about it. Even the hug she'd gotten from Belladona had done nothing for her - this trip on whatever a 'boat' happened to be was sure to be miserable for her if she didn't keep herself well-fed and away from the more animal-like students. Maybe the rest of her group would be friendly and she wouldn't need to worry?

Savior didn't remember signing up for anything so it wasn't much of a surprise that she nearly flipped the gnome that approached her (and dared to try and stick the notice in her mask) before figuring out that she might want to wander and follow the group of students filing into an area to hear an announcement. She listened to the really small person speak a few words, not understanding a single one of them, and eventually she decided that it would be best to wander around and see what was going on. She didn't know any of the faces that she passed, even though she'd walked past West in her wanderings. She might have turned her head to look at him, wondering why he smelled as she did, but that was about it. The Marrowstripe wasn't interested in much else.
She couldn't read the sign up sheets to know where she was supposed to go and she certainly hadn't connected that the speaker, Arel, was the person in charge of her boat. She also didn't know what a boat was or that she'd be surrounded by water, but regardless of all that the monster at the very least had the sense to understand that she needed to stay in this area or maybe migrate with the others to get to where she needed to be. If everyone was leaving she probably needed to be going with them in one way or another, even if it meant getting in the wrong spot at the wrong point in time.

Somehow, Efflo had failed to conceive the idea that Alwine might actually noticing him staring. The result was a reigndeer-in-headlights look on the zombie's part. Though his dark skin didn't show it, the pony boy blushed at her reaction, equally as embarrassed. Shyly, he stepped closer. Instinct and habit would have him high-tailing it out of there and hoping to never see Alwine again... But he felt bad, she really hadn't caused him any fuss. There was also the fact that he was still a bit curious... He offered her an apologetic smile, though it came out a bit mangled. He didn't smile often. "It's okay, really... A little cold is far from the worst thing about this place," he mumbled softly, eyes cast downward. But just as quick as he looked away, he glanced back at her again hopefully. "What exactly was that?"

Aedan made his way into the auditorium just as the gnomes began to hand out the lists of boat assignments, smelling vaguely of...paint? Repainting the wall over his desk (which had been the victim of a minor...accident with fire a few days before) had taken longer than anticipated. Looking around for a familiar face, he finally spotted Garrett, and made his way over towards the other demon, not quite sure what to make of the s**t-eating grin he had on his face. "Hopefully nothing that was said was too important.." he muttered, barely loud enough to be heard over the dozens of other conversations flowing around him. He hated not knowing what was expected--and from the appearance of things, he'd just missed hearing...whatever information had been shared in regards to the upcoming mandatory field trip.

"Ohh, Yui will be there on Boat 1 too?" Lizzy seemed to smile at the knowledge as she greeted the newcomer with a nod; she seemed like a nice person during Minipet Class and was really polite too! It was nice to know that even if the teachers weren't always reliable, the students were! As her skelephone went off (she can't help but feel rather busy!), Lizzy stepped away from the rest of the group after excusing herself to check her inbox, frowning when she saw the message.
Without replying, she immediately hit the 'call' button instead, calling Arachne. Placing the receiver to her ear, she waited for the ghoul to pick it up; when she does, she would be greeted with a rather concerned 'Hey, it's Lizzy! What's wrong?'

Sepheran listened nodding slightly every now and then until it was his turn to speak. "Hmm...well I'm pretty decent at the Violin I suppose...and the Skullinary Club sounds pretty fun too. I'll look into them both!" Sepheran replied. He paused for another moment, "Well Scario Kart Club does sound like a lot of fun, but I don't think I'd be any good. Video games and me don't work very well, Liannan doesn't quite understand them," Sephy admitted blushing lightly.
When Myr asked about his interests he shifted slightly. "Hn...to be quite honest I'm not quite sure myself, I'm just starting to experience a lot of new stuff...didn't get to do much at home..." says shyly with a light smile.

Mandy’s guilt notched up a level at Alwine’s words; she didn’t want to make the ghoul feel bad! When the sudden chill came over the area Mandy pulled her jacket tight around her and started giving Alwine concerned looks as she hesitantly stepped close to offer comfort, no matter that her hands where turning white from the leaching of her heat. Alwine’s next words though halted her advance as she tilted her head to the side in thought, a slight frown confusion marring her face. For a long time she stared at Alwine, carefully considering her words as most of what first came to her mind seemed wholly wrong. Finally just as she was about to speak up and probably give one of the most heart-warming speeches known to Halloween-kind Alwine spoke up stopping the moment. Blinking in surprise she shook her head, clearing it of her muddled thoughts, and feeling the warmth rush back into the area started rubbing her arms to warm them quicker. Head flickering about to spot who Alwine was apologizing at she decided to stay quiet this time after Alwine’s reaction to her last greeting. And things had been going so well when it was just them with Kasumi.

"I was..." Alwine looked back at Mandy, and if she had had a head it would have flushed.
"I was nervous, I guess. I don't know anyone on Boat 2. Mandy and I met on the Christmas Town trip and we've been rather inseparable since."
Inseparable. Yes, that was a good way to describe it. Just... inseparable. I mean, Mandy liked Barth, right? And Alwine had... er... Jingleberry... right. Either way, it wasn't like THAT or anything. Right?
Then why did that attempt at convincing herself fail so miserably?
"Ghosts use heat to generate energy sometimes," Alwine continued. "It's nothing bad or anything, I promise. Ah... my name is Alwine."

Byagane319 Lilura was hardly comfortable in the large auditorium. She found her letter stuffed in Tortalo's mouth and he was hardly pleased by it. She had left him behind considering he was still cursing a string of words in spanish she wasn't even sure that were curse words. As she listed to Arel's speech she grew more nervous. She hadn't gone on the last field trip, a bad spell with a mousetrap had left her in her room. But at least she wouldn't be alone, maybe she'd make new friends. WHAT?!! No weapons! Oh dear. Tortalo was not going to be happy about no being summoned while she was gone. She hated this. How could reapers doing anything without their weapons? What kind of school was this that didn't allow for a basic need? She groaned and hung her head. At least she didn't have to worry about minipets as she wasn't to terribly close to hers. She never really got close to flesh and blood things, which could be her problem. The other students all seemed as upset as she was or even worse. A cat looking boy seemed to freak out rather badly at the thought of being on water. Well that seemed pretty natural but he looked so upset. Lilura got up from her seat and wandered over to Nightengale. "Hey, it will be ok. Maybe someone will let you be near them if you are scared. I'm Lilura, what boat are you on?" Nightengale was sure his life had just ended. Again. Water. It was all that he could think of, the only thing separating him from it would be a wooden piece of junk he would be floating on with 9 other students. Could it get any worst? His hair was standing on just thinking of it.
When the female Reaper wandered over to him, Night had begun his ritualistic anti-water emergency procedure. His body was rocking back and forth with worry and hysteria. Well close to it.
"I hate water though!" He hissed out before throwing his hand over his mouth and sighed, "My name is Nightengale XIII, Unlucky cat for sure with this field trip. Oh." Night looked at the girl and then back to the list, "your on my boat! I'm on boat 8, don't we have Arel as our chaperon?" Night looked at the teacher who had left the stage and frowned, his ears laying flat. "So Li...Lilura, How do you propose I get over my water fear?!?!" Night stared at her with desperate eyes and pleading pouty lips.

Rosc nodded as he was introduced once more to a new ghoul, Vivi. He even smirked a bit, head turned slightly towards Sin. She was hostess wherever she went. He cleared his throat and moved between the ghouls, extracting himself from the row of chairs. But he paused once he had, almost as if he had remembered something. The bind-folded demon turned his face towards Sin once more. "Not going to pack anything valuable or... irreplaceable, are you, Sin?" He stressed the word slightly, especially hinting at the gifts he had given her. Oh, how he wanted to see them on her, if she flaunted the gems. But this school trip seemed like a bad time.
"From what you told me of the ChristmasTown trip..." He left the sentence hanging, his tone was mild. No growl, no annoyance. Just curiosity and a gentle reminder that if things didn't go well... Well, at best something could get ruined. At worst, she could lose everything in her suitcase. He followed her look and her wave and his teeth ground shut behind his closed lips. He didn't have to see irises and pupils to know where Arachne was looking, and he would have to be an idiot not to get at least some emotion out of her face.
Ripley, meanwhile, had hopped from Sin's lap to Rosc's when the succubus had stood to greet her friends, then from Rosc's lap to his shoulder. Now that the pair were standing close again, she hopped over to Sin's shoulder, careful of the spikes, to nuzzle her. Sin was just so much more cuddly and pettings-giving than Rosc was! The foxsquirrel cooed in what could only be a demanding affeeeeeeeeeeeeeeection.
