I tried to do more Random Matches today after training my Garchomp and Zoroark with new items... my record went from 0-2 to 2-8. Not exactly what I'd call stellar (especially since one loss was pure luck; last pokemon for each team, my Garchomp VS an Infernape, their pokemon already injured... I give the order for Earthquake, but get OHKO by a Critical Hit Close Combat before the move executes.)
My team needs more work...

I'm just going to stay away from all competitive battling, most of the people are extra-obsessed 0wnz0rz and their ilk that barely play for fun
games are for fun
I'll go breed a new team and run through the entire Unova region again, because that's not fun at all

The con was awesome, and I don't know if I posted this earlier, but I battled the Elite Four and Champion in White and beat them a few days ago 8D
So now I'm free to do whatever I want~ *coughcough*breeding*coughcough* XD

For those of you who have earned an Eevee evolution from the Pokemon Dream World site and have not yet picked it up, the promotion is scheduled to end on July 20th (3 weeks from today).
Just posting this to ensure everyone gets the Eevee they won.

To all those who may be interested, the official Autumn Friendly WiFi Tournament is now accepting registrations. It is a Double Battle Tournament, restricted to Unova Region Pokemon with the exceptions of Victini, Reshiram, Zekrom and Kyurem. Registration ends on Wednesday, and the battling starts Thursday. Full details can be seen here. I have already registered, so I'll do my best to represent the guild and go for the gold even if no one else joins up with me. (Trainer: Chester - Haxorus, Zoroark, Simipour, Eelektross, Archeops, Mienshao)

I don't think I'll do it; PvP's not really my thing, plus I've got (stupid) real life stuff to deal with in addition to the in-game goal I'm trying to achieve by the end of the year.
