I feel that I should be preparing some Pokemon to be transferred once the game is released (and beating the game of course to do it) but I feel that I'm procrastinating since the training is eventually going to be a little longer but not sure if the NA version is the same as the Jap. version with the whole new experience point system.

Alright I just beat my Totodile/Croconaw/Feraligatr Crystal run. Clocked in at 8:36 (I had to take out the time that was with not playing th game and I forgot to turn the game off or pause it at the emulator) at the point of beating Red. I'm proud of myself. I got really lucky with Pikachu and Venasaur.

Well, I showed up at Walmart a little after midnight (12:10 - 12:30ish, perhaps?) and saw an empty display. Needless to say, I asked around for some help and the lady that came over to help me didn't seem to know anything about the game (or games in general as I quickly learned) as she went into the back to find the game (supposively they hadn't finished setting up the display yet) and came back with the expensive hardcover strategy guide. She told me "You know the game is $30 dollars, right?", a bit confused at the price, I told her that was fine and had asked her that I wanted to purchase both (one of each). With the $30 strategy guide in her hand, she looked at me confused and said "both?". I proceed to explain that I wanted one Black-version and White-version, and she proceeded to show me the strategy guide saying "Oh, they both come together". Further confused by that, I had to explain to her that she was holding a book and it wasn't until I pointed out on the side ledge where it says "official strategy guide" did she finally believe me and proceed back into the back room to try again. Fortunately for me, she found someone back there who knew what I was talking about as she later appeared 5 minutes later with some guy carrying a full of games, who I finally explained everything to and he quickly helped me out. Before I left, the lady that helped me and I had a good laugh about there being a hardcover and softcover strategy guide that caused her confusion but nonetheless, I thanked her for her help before heading home.
Though, to further add to this story, apparently there were other people there waiting for the games to come out (as they were waiting/hanging out around the electronic section when I got there) and none of them seem to think to ask for assistance. It wasn't until I did all the work talking to the people working last night (and going through the story explained above) did they decide to start a line behind me to purchase the game(s). Either they were shy, or I was impatient (or maybe a little of both, perhaps?). In either case, I got my copies. pirate

I went with a friend to my Gamestop at 11pm. She got a call from her friend who had preordered the game across the river. She said that her friend saw a huge line outside Gamestop that went "all the way to the road". We hustled our butts over there to see 10 people outside of Gamestop. I ended up not doing the tournament because I had stuff to do (which ended in a game of Settlers of Catan sweatdrop ). We got there, got our Celebis, and proceeded to battle each other while we waited (I won both matches, Breloom for the win). Then a smooth in/out for our games. I only stayed up til 3:30 since I had things to do for the guild and other stuff online before playing White and then going to bed.
Too bad I have a CS lab to do today. sad

I dont have a Story towards getting Pokemon White, But I got the epic game and thats all that matters! I got my Modest Tepig named BACONATOR! so im set for my awesome journey!
