 ++Squad 4 Guard: Lux of the White Rose++ After Lady Mayu left, he laid back down on the soft grass, the light sprinkling of dew wetting his armor; he hadn't bothered to remove the steel breastplate, he never wore a large amount of armor, mainly because he needed to be mobile and able to swing Mangetsu. HE looked up at the sky, he almost thought he heard Mal's voice saying 'Take care of them, I really can't do much of anything but watch, so it's up to you.' Lux laughed silently and nodded quickly and offered a quick prayer to the Gods that hadn't done anything to earn his prayers.He rose and walked in the direction of the campsite, Lady Mayu and the new handler were talking by the fire, and Shalrein was nowhere to be scene. Lux entered the campsite and overheard the new girl mention Moon Dancing, He'd seen it once. It had been the most beautiful thing he'd ever seen. He sat across from the two, "It's one of the most beautiful things a person can witness, Moon Dancing. When I was younger my father and I traveled a lot after our clan was wiped out, we met a family who claimed Moon Tribe heritage. We didn't believe them until we saw the dance." He said quietly, looking over at the mammoth sword that had been embedded in the ground nearby, "Mangetsu, Full moon The sword passed down through my clan. It's said to have been forged by The Moon goddess from one of the horns of the World Eater, one of two swords, the other being Ameterasu." He looked back up at the new girl, Iren was it? Lady Mayu already knew all of this. Being new to the group naturally Iren didn't.

Please just wait for me,  Iren Loun 'Irene' Iren looked up at Mayu and smiled,
'I guess this is my family now' she thought likeing the idea that she finally got one. Iren rocked backwards and brought her knees up to her chest before hugging them. The night was already cooling the earth and she never was good with the cold even though she can withstand freezing tempretures with little clothing.
Iren turned her head as she saw Lux approching, she smiled to him in greeting as he spoke.
Slight shock spread across her face after his words,
"You've seen it?" she quetioned rhetically, knowing he obiously had from his explination. "Its said that only people of the Moon tribe can perform the dance" she explained to him, not sure of her words since she'd only been told by another student. Though the legands on the Moon people are said that they naturally learn the dance, only on night of the fullest moon and then forever dance under its light.
Iren listened to Lux, amazed at the forgery of his weapon,
"I've heard about The goddess of the moon or 'Moon goddess'" she said in thought. Iren smiled again, at least someone know slight information upon her heritage, which she was releaved that it hadn't died.
After Lux had finished she looked down at her sword, she'd always wanted a sword more fit to what she was yet iren was forced to keep normal blades as not to catch attention. Though, in her choice of extra weaponary, the Tonfa blades also are said to be used by vairious tribes as well as her own.
But Iren had never seen another person using them before, the silver guards had told her that few people can use them due to there complexitiy which she could not see within them. They were just like swords and bows to her, just another weapon to distory those who oppose your view point.
Iren looked back up at Lux,
"Your weapon is beautiful" she confessed staring at its blood red body in the moon light and flicker of the flames.
'This is my new family' she thought smiling still trying to adjust her mindset to that since change was never her strong point. (( Ooc ::

Mayu Nikita
Squad 4's Vestec  Mayu smiled softly as she watched the two of them talk. She did remember Lux telling them this before, and it was still a fantastic thing to hear always. It was good to see her teammates talking. Though... She glanced to Shade who still seemed distressed and then to the direction that Shalrien had gone. She knew she must want to be alone, but she couldn't help but feel... wrong.
So she pushed herself up and went over to her things, pulling her flute from her bag. Then she looked around at the tree's around them before deciding on one. She climbed up it's side like a monkey and perched upon a sturdy branch, the moonlight shinning down brightly, her pale skin seeming to glow slightly under its light. And yet the firelight cast a glow of it's own, complementing the colors of her clothes very nicely. And so she began to play in the hopes that maybe it would help Shalrien to some degree, and if nothing else, keep things pleasant.
She played a dance tune that was light and happy, her features relaxing as she remembered times when her people danced to this. She did miss the drums they would beat behind her though. She closed her eyes and let herself fall back into memory, so she could gain a better mental image of this.

++Squad 4 Guard: Lux of the White Rose++ Lux listened patiently as Iren spoke before nodding in affirmation, "That is true, but there are other myths about them learning it natural, sadly they are not true, it is passed down to each generation, and that generation passed it down to the next. although it is possible for someone not of moon tribe heritage to learn it, they cannot perform it. I knew one such man, he once spent four years living amongst the Tribe with another man and two women. They were on assignment from the capital to seek out Deathwalkers among the tribe.Three were found over the course of their stay. But this man begged the elders to teach him the dance. They finally allowed it, but This man couldn't perform it. Instead he returned back home to his clan only to find out that they had all been slaughtered! they only survivor was a Baby boy, his son, me..." He said, as hard as he'd tried not to think about his father it didn't stop him from doing it. Iren made a comment about the sword. Lux bowed slightly in his seat, "I thank you for the complement." HE said with a grin, he stood and walked over to the sword before gesturing for her to come to it.

Please just wait for me, Iren Loun 'Irene' Iren listerned intentively to Lux, this was one of the first times she had ever talked to someone who knew or at least had heard of the Moon tribe and it not to be a compleet lie.
She noted what he told her about learning the dance, she knew what she'd been told from others was probably a mutation of the truth, though glad now she understood.
When he spoke of his father and his clan her emotions dropped.
Topics of death and family were never the most comfortable ones to voice. Expeshally since Iren had experienced so much death already in her life and had hardly even got to the dangerous areas yet. Just because the boarders of the town she lived in was guarded that never stopped deathwalkers entering nor humans killing humans.
And for her family, all she knew is she has a brother who may or may not be alive.
Iren avoided asking more about his father or clan as not to upchurn old memorys which would cause more alkwardness and pain between them.
She attempted a smile as he thanked her.
Lux then stood and moved towards the sword, with his gesture she unsurely followed to the weapon, being able to see its detail clearly and the sharpness of the blade. (( Ooc ::

++Squad 4 Guard: Lux of the White Rose++ Lux ran a finger over the blade, a bright red line emerged from the fresh cut, the blade was still Razor sharp, he showed her the cut, "The blade of this sword will never go dull. There are several magics on this blade, and that is only one." He pulled the sword from the ground with one hand and held out the hilt for her to grab, "Another is that to the wielder the sword is light as a feather, go ahead take it." The blood red blade seemed to glow in the moonlight. the inscriptions on the flat shimmering. They were in a language he didn't know.

Squad 12's Guard  Quite a bit of time passed before Rosa finally had to strength or will to get up, at least getting herself up into a sitting position at the very least. Remembering that she had lowered her mask, she returned it up over her face, leaving the upper part of her face visible as per usual. She saw that her two other teammates were still out cold, and her fellow guard was also resting it seemed. Taking a deep breath, she rose up and glanced around, listening carefully for the sign of any immediate danger. No, they were fine. Excellent.
She began to make the camp ready since they weren't going anywhere, gathering up firewood and water while the others recuperated. She ignored the ache in her muscles and the dull pain from her cauterized wounds for it was better than what she suspected their Senel and Amaya were feeling at the moment. Hell.... She just hoped they both survived. Especially their Handler. He had taken quite the beating.
She had just gotten a fire going when she saw Amaya stir, pausing in her debate to look for food. Her expression didn't change as she heard the cry of pain, instead only thinking of what the problem would have been. She got up and headed over to their vestec, crouching down next to her as she moved her hands apart very gently. She could smell the blood that had been drawn, and it was counter-productive. So she went over to her pack and got some medicinal supplies, soon sitting back down in front of Amaya. "Don't move." She said softly, carefully testing out different parts of her body before applying what was most appropriate. When she felt that the collar bone was broken, she frowned beneath her mask and carefully began to tend to it. "Thats going to hurt for a while." She told her as she bandaged her up in the most appropriate fashion. (( Lol, indeed. XD)

Squad 12's Vestec
 It wasn't long before Rosa came over and began to tend to her wounds, though even being touched to be treated was agony to the fragile Vestec. A few tears slipped out of the corners of her eyes as she tried to hold back cries of pain. After Rosa was finally finished, Amaya felt slight relief, though everything still hurt like hell. Looking up at the guard, she seemed a little confused. "What happened?" She whispered, not seeming to remember what exactly had taken place. "Are the others okay?...."

Squad 12's Guard Rosa noted that Amaya seemed a bit out of it, not really surprised by her questions about what had happened. Instead, she merely glanced over her own wounds briefly before looking in Senel's direction. He was still breathing from what she could tell, but she had no idea what sort of state he was in.
So she went over to their handler and checked his vitals with care, doing what little more she could for him while he was unconscious. "Senel was gravely injured while we were protecting you. The Deathwalkers almost overwhelmed us." Now she sat down with her legs crossed, her dark eyes turning back to their Vestec. "Then you did something after being thrown that I was not familiar with. It seemed a risky thing though. It took care of many of the creatures, and the others were taken down for the most part. I ran the two of you out while Gondin provided cover." She glanced around for the other guard, but didn't immediately see him, brushing her hair out of her eyes. "We've been resting here for a few hours at least. You were unconscious and Senel remains so. I've cauterized his wounds so he won't bleed out, but I'm not sure how he fares. I've done what I can." And thus she fell quiet, her vocal quota quite filled for the day. It felt a little unnatural to speak so much, but she always answered questions so perhaps it shouldn't be so strange. Whatever.

[Sorry I still haven't posted guys. When I first joined this I had nothing to do at work half of the day. Not so anymore. So that combined with a busy life outside work and having writers block when I DO try to write a post has kept me from doing so... (I've tried to post 3 times and simply given up because I couldn't come up with much of anything). I'll try and make some time to sit down and put some time in to getting back in to this when I get home from work today.]
