Ada closed her eyes taking the last bit of her omelette and smiled, “I am done also.” Ada played with a strand of her red hair. It was surprisingly soft, considering how horrible she treated it. Ada stood up and made an offer to Cecelia, “Why don’t we go check out the shops,” Ada said offering to help Ada up. Ada glanced at the girl then down to her own clothes, “I was thinking of getting a new ribbon for my hair,” Ada liked to keep fresh with her accessories because she never knew when she’d need emergency ribbon to tie something. Ada stretched her wings unfurrowing as she did so. She hated having them in for to long, they got stiff and made it difficult to fly. Ada carefully fluttered them so as not to hit anyone else in the restaurant.

Cecelia smiled. "That would be great." she said with enthusiam. Although, the real reason she wanted to go to the shops was to buy a new cane. She'd dropped hers while running from those men this morning, and couldn't possibly find it now. Without the cane, she'd probably trip over ever object in her path. Cecelia sighed as she stood, glad Ada was there the guide her. That was one reason she hated these big towns. The roads, and almost everything else, were made of stones which made it hard to get around. She missed the soft glow of the grasslands. She could at least she where she was walking there. Cecelia gestered in front of her. "Lead the way."

Ada smirked, “Of course.” Ada extended her arm so Cecelia could hold it. “I won’t let anyone touch you.” Ada said as she lead Cecelia outside. “Is there a specific store you want or need to go too?” Ada asked as she pulled Cecelia forward. Ada walked outside and a strong wind blew by, small white feathers fluttered down the street, as the heavy wind blew. Ada laughed as she brought her hand to her hair, “sure is windy isn’t it?”
Ada wanted to offer something to Cecelia to keep her warm from the wind but since she didn’t she resorted to lightly gliding her at Ada’s pace by using her wing to wrap around Cecelia.

Cecelia took Ada's arm gratefully. She thought a moment before answering Ada's question."It doesn't really matter." she paused a moment, then spoke slowly. "Actually... I'm looking for a cane... or some kind of stick. It needs to be about this high," she gestered to the area at her hip, "and very sturdy."Cecelia felt the wind blow against her face for a moment before Ada's wing protected her from it. She smiled slightly at her comment."If it wasn't so strong, it would be nice. It reminds me of the winds that blew through my old village."A feeling of longing and sadness filled her when she thought of her home. She missed it very much.

Raku Raku waited until Quinn was out of sight and turned to Olivia. "We should move quickly, before he changes his mind." She picked up her quiver and threw it over her shoulder. "I'll scout ahead while you and Seth get ready." She ran into the forest, keeping an eye and ear out for anything suspisious. She scenced something was near, but couldn't locate it.As long as it's presence remained weak,Raku wouldn't worry about it. The village wasn't far she knew, but it wouldtake them the better part of the night to reach it.

"A cane?" Ada asked confused. The girl didn't walk with a limp... Suddenly it hit her like a sack of bricks. And it made Ada feel horrible. "Pardon me, but are you blind?" Ada asked as she looked at Cecelia. She didn't seem blind but She did have really fair colored eyes, why hadn't Ada saw that sooner? Ada look at the sky, "Wind signals change." Ada said still rather disapointed in herself for not being considerate and pushy to a girl who may not be blind, but who might be...

Cecelia giggled. "In a way, yes. I'm surprised you didn't notice before. You're rather dense, Ada." she teased. Cecelia paused a moment, thinking. She could understand way Ada didn't discern before. Cecelia always looked directly at Ada when she spoke, and at others who spoke to her. She could see how that can make it confusing. When she spoke again her words were slower, shy. "I can see why you didn't notice. I'm only partially blind...."

Ada chuckled lightly rubbing the back of her head, "Oh well you see.... " Ada began but dropped it off. She was dense. Some times too dense. And it made situations for others awkward or just plain weird. "Well it doesn't matter if you could see or not, my dear," Ada began her flirt like behavior again, "You are a beauty, and you have a great personality," Ada hand went up and rustled Cecelia's hair. A soft caring smile forming on her lips. "Oh, How about this shop?" Ada motioned to a store. It looked like an antique shop. a perfect place to find a cane.

Cecelia blushed at Ada's compliment. "T-Thank you...." she mumbled. Cecelia was surprised Ada didn't question further after she had said 'partially blind'. Oh, well. She could always explain later. Ada had found a shop then and Cecelia put her musings aside. Her eyes twinkled with amusment as she answered. "It's like the perfect place. It looks so quaint." She tried not to laugh. Ada really was dense. How was she to know what kind of shop it was?

Ada smiled, "then let us not be shy," Ada reached for the door and swung it open and a light chime followed, Ada walked right in leading Cecelia in. "Excuse me," Ada said as she waved a man closer. "Do you perhaps have any canes?" Ada hands went to her hips as if bossing the man to say yes and go retrieve her some. Ada couldn't help it she was bossy, she just knew what she wanted and what she didn't. And when she wanted something she would get it.

When Cecelia stepped into the store she noticed the change in the air. It was warm and a little stuffy in the shop, and it had the smell of wood and old things. The aura of a human was across from them.An antique shop, most likely. she deduced. Cecelia stepped forward with her hand out stretched as Ada asked about a cane. Her hand ran into a smooth, thin strip of wood held up between two poles which, in turn, were attached to a soft square base. A chair. Cecelia had turned it and sat down when she heard a male voice reply to Ada. "Of course." the man stated, gruffly. "What kind are you looking for?"Cecelia raised her hands gestering as she described what she needed. "It needs to be about this long, durable. It doesn't really matter what it looks like as long as it can take lots of wear and tear."

Sameth Sameth soon became bored of waiting in death and so crossed the border into life, quickly finding shade. He decided to continue following the tengu and the blind human. They played an important part in the upcoming battle and Sameth needed to make sure they remianed on his side. He entered the store after them and pretended to look around, He needed a new sword anyways and hew knew they didn't sell what he was looking for,not in a typical weapon shop anyways.

The man nodded before he rushed off to go find a cane that would suit the desires of Cecelia. He came back with a cane that was the right length and made of sturdy wood. Cherry wood was Ada's guess because of the reddish wood color that usually was associated with that kind of wood. Alone the length of the can was black inking which Ada couldn't make out. At the top was a bent handle rather then a spherical one. Ada took it from the man and held it out to Cecelia. "how does it feel?" Ada asked. Figuring the look of it didn't matter much since she was partially blind... Ada glanced back at the hood man who entered the shop, her eyes staying on him for a moment. Something about him didn't quite sit right, He had a different scent. What was it? The tengu's nose twitched as she tried to take out what scent it was amongst the antique shop that had many of it's own smells mingling.

Cecelia felt a strange chill go up her spine, like a cold breeze just blew. She turned to look behind her to she if it came from a person, but she could she nothing. Just the normal blackness of empty space. She turned back to see the man return. Ada took something from him then handed what must have been the cane to her. Cecelia reached out and wrapped her hands around the cool wood. It was smooth except for faint indentions where markings must be. It was sturdy and she liked the way it felt in her hands. Cecelia's eyes furrowed. She was looking in the dark space where she knew the cane was, but she could have sworn she saw a faint flash of light for a moment. Maybe she was imagining things. She smiled up at Ada and the shop keeper."It perfect. I'll take it." she announced.
