 Trees flashed around them as Tenshi and Tiamek bolted through the forest, following the strange noise that had disrupted their peace at the willow tree.
For good measure, the wolf samurai pulled out his dual katanas, Tatsuya and Tetsuya, in case there was a fight waiting for them wherever they were heading.Beside him, Tiamek strode over the forest floor dutifully, one of her golden arrows already nocked to Silver Laurel.
The sound, which, to her ears, was now starting to sound like a sort of hollow screaming, was getting closer as they neared the location.
In addition, a scent hit her nose, heavy and thick, blood!
Either something or someone had been killed somewhere, or they had been injured.
" It's just up ahead!" she exclaimed, pointing to the path before them with a slender finger.
Her voice carried an audible note of concern, wondering what was making the bloody smell, as well as the god-awful screeching noise." Righty-o then!" said Tenshi, having picked up the smell of blood too, " Sounds like something's got a good bleeda, eh?"
The screeching noise sounded sort of like someone was singing, rather strange singing, of course....
Getting closer, the noise was at ear piercing decibels, Tenshi momentarily sheathed his katanas to cover his ears, seeing Tiamek do the same, temporarily holstering Silver Laurel to block the noise from her ears.
Suddenly, the noise stopped, and the pair slowed their pacing as they neared the location, removing their fingers from their ears.Tiamek glanced around the area, the smell of the blood was close now, it was clouding her senses, making it difficult for her to smell anything else.
" Look!" she whispered to Tenshi, pointing over to a strange figure on the ground.
Without waiting for him, she quickly made her way over towards the figure, seeing it was now a red-haired male, smelling very strongly of cat.
Upon closer examination, she noticed the feline-ish ears protruding from his head, her eyes then drifted, widening as she saw the gashes on his chest.
" Oh no..." she whispered, quickly crouching down by him, lightly placing a hand on his chest, " Who did this to you?" she asked, unsure if he could hear her, seeing as his hands were clamped on his ears.Tenshi swore under his breath as Tiamek dashed over to help the seemingly paralyzed male on the ground, bursting out into the scene after her.
She seemed to be preoccupying herself with the male's wounds, so Tenshi drew out his dual katanas, stepping in front of her and the male, calling out in the direction the singing had been coming from,
" Oi! Wot's with all this bleedin' shrillery, eh? My ol' grammy coul' sing a betta beer shanty while drunk off her arse!"
He was rather pissed that his moment of quiet time had been interrupted, and he was now raring for a good fight, crossing his dual katanas in front of his chest for good measure.

Axel had been totally oblivious to everything around him. The scream had knocked out any hope in him being able to move. Even if Axel had had time to look at the world through energy, the mental image would only last until he started to run. Axel was so lost in his own world, almost waiting for the killing blow, that the woman who touched his chest freaked him out. Axel's head shot up and his misty green eyes widened as Axel's ears went flat against his head. Axel quickly grabbed hold of Tiamek hand and arm. He hadn't grabbed her arm and hand hard, it was mostly so he could get a feeling of who this was. If it was Paine, then Axel could at least get one good shot in before she killed him. His eyes never stopped moving as he 'looked' at the girl, after a few seconds Axel removed his shaking hands. Axel relaxed, not to sure how to answer her question. "Let’s....say....a ghost...." Axel said in a very labored voice. Axel's ears flatted, fur bristling as Tenshi started to call out. Axel was almost too far gone to have noticed Tenshi. 'GEEZE, three heart attacks in a row ain't good for me right this second.' Axel thought to himself unsure of where these two people had just come from.

Paine felt the four ghosts approach her. What fun this will be. "Find the cat and detain him." She told three of the spirits. One a woman in her late thirties, another was a boy in his teens, and the last a young child of six; wandered off into the forest. "As for you" Paine pulled a rather large man towards her and held his face inches from hers. "Bind my blades and make them whole again." Pain held out the blades that Talnar had destroyed in their fight.
The young child quickly ran around the area coming upon Axel just as Tiamek and Tenshi found him. The small child smiled gleefully at her find. She was about to aware the other spirits when Tenshi did it for her. The child giggled quite loudly as she came out in the open in front of Tenshi. "Found you kitty kitty." the small girl said quite happily. The two other spirits slowly moved in from behind them, mostly to keep Axel and Tiamek from leaving.
Paine didn't like the comment that was thrown her way. She started to walk out from behind the small and excited child. Paine's eyes glowed as her spirals moved slowly, her hands wrapped around her waist. Paine did this often to hide her blades. "Can she now?" Paine's voice sounded amused, but was laced with hatred as she spoke. "I wonder how well she can scream then....." Paine started to laugh at the macabre joke. As she continued to laugh, Paine cocked her head to the side stared Tenshi in the eye.
Paine stopped laughing for a second and shifted her gaze towards Axel and a FEMALE.....A frown immediately appeared on Paine's face. Any amusement she had seemed to have left her voice as she addressed Axel for the present moment. "What's the matter, Feline? You can't handle one little defenseless spirit." Paine's insult was filled with malice and almost need. Paine could care less about these two, but Axel's wounds were certain to kill him. Then he would be all her's, what more could a girl want? Paine turned her attention back to Tenshi, her eyes twisting at him. Almost like she was waiting on him to make the first move.
(seriously.....how can i keep do this)

Tiamek's eyes never left the feline male, seeing his head suddenly jerk up when she had touched him, his pale green eyes seeming to widen as his ears flattened in alarm.
She flinched when he grabbed hold of her arm and hand, not exactly a harsh grip though, saw him looking at her, and then released his hold after a few seconds.
Tiamek was slightly relieved when he relaxed, not caring that the blood from the chest wound was flowing all over her hand, and saying something about a ghost, though his voice was rather shaky.
The kitsune lady glanced up as Tenshi called out something, probably to the alleged 'ghost' that the male feline had mentioned.
She returned her attention to the male, and whispered softly to him, " Please, hold still, I'll help you..."
Her ears flicked as she heard a young child's voice from nearby, saying 'Found you kitty kitty,' and she felt the presence of two spirits nearby, moving in from behind her and the feline.
Tiamek lifted her lips in a silent snarl, before she heard another female voice from in front of where Tenshi stood, her ears flattening as the ghost female looked at her and the feline male, insulting him, the words laced with malice, and, strangely, a sense of need.
The kitsune lady put her other hand around the male, pulling him close to her in almost a hug, snarling at the ghost girl, " Leave. Him. Alone." she said, her voice laced with icy venom, her nine tails spreading out and starting to surround her and the feline like a barrier.
Focusing her energies, the hand that Tiamek had on his chest began to glow a dim blue color, sending her healing energies into the wound to close it up.Tenshi growled a bit as a small ghost girl came out in front of him, saying something about finding a kitty or something, until another girl walked out from behind her.
He noticed how her eyes glowed, and the hands wrapped around her waist, as well as the amused, yet hatred-tinged, voice she spoke with in response to his comment.
The wolf samurai's eyes narrowed, as she started to laugh, tilting her head and looking him in the eye.
" Oi! Don' ya dare talk 'bout my ol' grammy like that!" he snarled, obviously not amused by the dark joke.
The creepy girl stopped her cackling for a moment, and she looked past him, to where Tiamek and the feline male were, frowning as she spoke again, addressing the other male, though her voice was without amusement this time.
Her eyes then went back to the samurai, seemingly to twist oddly, as if she was anticipating something.
Tenshi did not lower his guard one bit, and he spoke, " Ya min' tellin' us why yer houndin' dis 'feline' o' yers?" he asked, his voice half questioning half angered.
He did not look her directly in the eyes, keeping his gaze trained on the hands that were wrapped around her waist, suspecting that she was hiding something, keeping Tatsuya and Tetsuya crossed firmly in front of him.

Axel continued to breathe shakily as he tried to figure out what they were doing, exactly. The woman had kept her hand on his chest, even though Axel's wounds were bleeding so severely, while her companion seemed to be trying to get Paine’s attention with an insult. Axel carefully shook his head. "Alright, I’ll t...try to hold ..s...s...still." In addition to speaking shakily, Axel had begun to stutter a little. His body shuddered at the young girl’s voice. "god damn...s...s....spirits." He said as the other two ghost came up behind them. 'Wayward souls, trapped in this forest. How sad...." Axel thought as he tried to figure where the two souls were. Of course, Axel stopped when he heard Paine's barb. "Defen..s...s....." Axel was cut off as Tiamek pulled him close to her. If Axel had enough blood left, he would have been blushing. It was strange how comforting this woman could be even when she was angry. Axel almost didn't realize what Tiamek was doing at first, but he figured it out pretty quickly. As Tiamek started to heal his wounds, Axel's eyes got big, because he could actually see it and the user. She was a fox, but not any fox....she was a nine tailed fox.....in all his years he wondered if they weren't just myths, but seeing was believing. "T...thanks..." Axel said sheepishly to Tiamek, unsure what to say to her for her help.

Paine kneed the small girl gentle in the back and nodded at her. "Go on Janet...." Paine said to the ghost child. A smirk started to form as Tenshi snarled at her horrible joke. Janet happily smiled up at her as she nodded and ran around Tenshi. Janet, as Paine had called her, took a seat in front of Axel and Tiamek, smiling carefree at the two. 'Children ghost were always the easiest to manipulate.' Paine mused to herself. The smirk grew wider as Tenshi asked her about Axel. “It’s simple, a rivalry as old as the pyramids.....Cats and ghosts. That little THING cat does when they watch something, that's just not there....Most of the time it is one of us." Paine said very matter of factly, as if everyone knew this. "They cause 'us' so many problems when they do that and besides.....He shouldn't even be alive, Natural Selection......" Paine's voice began to have an under lying tone of impatience as she began to walk forwards slowly. "He's blind as a bat..." Her voice hissed out. "Easy prey........ I wouldn't mind having a Bastet as one of my many lost and waywards souls...." Paine said as she was almost upon his two crossed swords. Paine was aware that most people didn't know what a Bastet was. But it was all for fun.

Tiamek noted the feline's actions, how he carefully shook his head and said he'd try to hold still, shuddering and cursing something in response to the ghost girl's voice.
When the other ghost girl, who seemed to be the ringleader of these spirits, insulted him, the feline had started to say something, but had been interrupted when the kitsune lady had pulled him to her.
When she started to heal him, his eyes widened, and managed to stutter out a sheepish sounding thanks to her.
" You're welcome," she whispered softly to him, right now, all her focus was on healing this nasty looking chest wound.
The bleeding had stopped, and the wound was starting to seal itself up from Tiamek's healing touch.
She kept aware of the spirits around them, having noticed when the little ghost girl, whom had been addressed as Janet, came around and took a seat in front of them.
This made her pull the feline closer to her, her ears flattened against her head, but she did not remove her healing hand from his chest, her tails forming a slightly closer barrier around them.
If she wasn't preoccupied with tending the feline's wounds, Tiamek would've had Silver Laurel off her back, golden arrow nocked to it and ready to fire.Tenshi could hear some of what the feline and Tiamek were saying, but kept his focus on the creepy looking ghost girl in front of him.
He had noticed her smirk when he snarled in response to the morbid joke, and it grew wider when he questioned about what she wanted with the feline.
She explained it was a rivalry, as old as anyone could remember, cats and ghosts, the little thing that cats do when they seem to be 'watching' something that wasn't there, most of the time, it was a ghost.
Tenshi growled a bit at how she said it, speaking as if everyone knew about what she was explaining, going on to say about cats causing ghosts problems, and that the feline shouldn't be alive.
He could detect the impatience in her voice, his eyes narrowing as she began to lurch forward towards him.
She said the feline was as blind as a bit, that he was easy prey, and that she wouldn't mind having a Bastet as one of her many lost and wayward souls.
By this time, the creepy girl was almost at his crossed katanas.Tiamek hissed as the ghost girl spoke of the feline, a few of her tails coming around to shield him, " Just because he's blind," she said, the icy venom tone in her voice again, but much stronger, " Doesn't mean he deserves to die."
She felt much like a mother who was protecting her son from his death warrant, but she would not allow any of these spirits to touch the feline, not when she could help it.
Her tails fluffed out in anger as the creepy ghost girl got closer to Tenshi, almost on the dual katanas he had crossed in front of him.
" Not. A step. Closer," she growled, the ring on her finger starting to glow with a faint light, a warning sign, keeping her healing hand on the feline's chest wound.Tenshi snarled, " Sorry, lass, but according to MY standards, I say the boy lives!"
Moving quickly, he activated Tatsuya's lightning energies, and swung out at the creepy girl, moving Tetsuya in from the other side for a two-sided strike.

Paine heard the female chime in from behind Tenshi. She glowered at Tenshi, but it was aimed beyond him. Paine always hated females, they were such jealous and single minded creatures. Only after something that they don't have by stealing it away. Just like this female did, she was keeping the cat from her. Of course if Paine had realized what Tiamek was doing, she would of put a stop to it as quickly as possible. Paine wanted to keep taunting the the two, but her voice was beginning to protest all the talk so soon after using the 'call'. Of course when the both of them, told her that Axel was allowed to live, Paine stop her advance, a twisted grin blossomed on Paine's lips. Paine felt the air become electrified as she watched the blades moved towards her. She began to position her blades to try and block Tenshi's attack, but she would do almost anything to get that bloodlust back that Talnar destroyed when he healed her. Paine waited for the hit. "who said i need permission." Paine said barely above a whisper, but the deadly intent was still behind her words.

As the wounds started to heal, Axel's breath started to stabilize and his body stopped shaking as bad. Axel didn't feel as horrible as when he had started running. Tiamek pulled him closer when the ghost Janet came behind them and sat. Axel wanted to tell the fox woman that it wasn't the child she should be worried about. The two other ghost behind her were more dangerous if anything. Axel shut his eyes for a second and focus his energy on the area around them. He wasn't trying to disrupt her focus, but he need to be able to tell what the other two died from. He hadn't had the time when he fought Paine to do this, but for the second he had time thanks to these two stranger.
The female seemed to have a energy field of muted pink, blue, and a slight yellow.....possibly love, Depression, and cowardliness. They were strong enough emotions, if they tell told him anything. 'She took her own life..... ' he moved on to the boy's energy. Just the normal array of colors, two jumped out, black and purple. He did something he shouldn't have and doesn't understand why he's here. The child was simple, She was take so suddenly that she doesn't even know she's dead. He tried to see if there was another ghost, but Paine's energy overcame Axel's ability. It was so many colors all at once that Axel pulled back from using his ability. Axel moved his hand to hold his head. Oh that had been a bad idea, now he understood why Paine was like that. She wasn't just vengeful, she was insane. "You should warn your friend, she's insane and chaotic." Axel told Tiamek, feeling that might be more important than anything else he could of said.

Tiamek was relieved when the feline's breathing started to return to normal, and his body wasn't shaking as violently as it had before.
The wounds were pretty deep, while she could heal them, even to the best of her ability, there would still possibly be scars left.
She kept wary of the spirits, the child in front of them, and the woman and the boy spirits behind her, as much as she wanted to help Tenshi fight that crazed girl, she felt that the spirits would attempt to harm the feline if she left him.
Even with Tenshi in front of them, Tiamek could feel the girl glaring at her, but didn't pay much heed to it.
As both she and him said that the feline was allowed to stay alive, the girl stopped advancing, and a twisted, malicious grin appeared on her face.
Tiamek's ears flattened in alarm and anger, a hand slowly reaching up to grab Silver Laurel from off her back.
She noticed the feline move a hand to his head, as if he was suffering from a migraine or something.
The fox lady was about to question him what was wrong, before he spoke, saying that she should warn her friend, that the ghost girl was insane and chaotic.
At that moment, Tiamek glanced up quickly, seeing Tenshi activating Tatsuya's lightning and making a swing at the girl.
" Tenshi!" she shouted, " Watch out!"Tenshi's eyes narrowed as he could catch some of what the girl was saying, but he could detect the malice and deadly intent behind her words.
The electrified Tatsuya and Tetsuya were zeroing in on the girl, who was raising what looked to be blades of some sort to attempt to parry his attack.
Suddenly, Tiamek's shouting sounded in his ears, " Eh?" Tenshi asked, losing his focus for a moment, Tetsuya missing hitting the girl, but the electrified Tatsuya's blade made a direct hit on the girl's blades.

Paine watched as one blade missed and felt the electrified blade hit her blades. Pain struck almost every nerve in her body, but the pain wasn't quite enough to trigger bloodlust. Normally just the feeling of pain would do it, but Talnar's attack had overloaded her ability. What was wrong with her....If he had done something to her bloodlust...... Paine quickly grabbed a hold of the Tatsuya with her bare hands, only get a slight twinge from it. 'That b*****d broke it.' Paine said to herself as she brought her focus back to Tenshi. Paine began to twist the sword as she brought her opposite hand up and with a swiping motion aimed at Tenshi. She hoped to get him somewhere in the chest area, but mostly she wanted Tenshi to strike her. Without her bloodlust, wounds would begin to affect her more and her movements would become more rigid, less flowing. It made fighting harder on her human body.

Now that Axel had energy signatures, he could see everyone better. Though he wished he couldn't see Paine's, if colors could of kill they all would have been dead. Axel opened his eyes and looked around again, only the being able to 'see' where the energies were. Now he had a rough idea where everyone was. When Tiamek began to pull out her weapon, Axel thought she was going to fight. That was when Axel realized that the fox lady hadn't left him. Had it been Axel, he wouldn't be sitting here with the idiot who got himself fatally wounded. He would of been out there trying to help.....Although Axel didn't really remember having someone to watch out for him. Didn't help that Axel could only recall the last three years of his life. Yet he knew how to use his powers but anything related to memory was gone. So he was use to taking care of himself since then but the woman didn't need to protect him. Axel heard her yell out to her friend, she seemed like she was a very caring person. "You know you could leave me here, i don't think i'll move far. Plus i think these spirits will stop me if i try anything....." Axel said to her, his voice very calm. Axel didn't know what the spirits would do, but if anything they would most like keep him pinned down. Paine seemed like to much of a control freak to let them hurt him.

Tenshi was slightly confused as to why Tiamek had yelled for him to watch out, though his attention refocused on the crazy girl as Tatsuya's electric blade struck her's.
' Ahhhh, dammit Tiamek,' he hissed slightly in his mind, though he was never one to stay mad at her for long.
He saw the girl grab onto the blade with her bare hands, though the pain didn't seem to be affecting her much.
She then began to twist Tatsuya, and brought up one of her blades to strike him.
" Bloody 'ell!" he exclaimed, just barely managing to bring Tetsuya back around in time to block the girl's blades.
He glared to her, " Dunno wot kinda twisted, bloody wench you are, but god damn me if I eva let you touch me!" he growled.
Tenshi began to attempt to wrench the sword out of the girl's grasp, pushing the bladed hand that he had blocked away from him with Tetsuya.Tiamek watched as Tenshi lost his focus a moment when she had called out to him, Tatsuya's blade hitting something else metallic, while Tetsuya missed it's mark.
She couldn't exactly see what was going on, but from Tenshi's remarks, it sounded like the two were engaged in a fight.
Her attention was momentarily directed to the feline as he spoke, saying that she could pretty much leave him here, he didn't think he'd move far, and that the spirits would stop him if he tried anything.
His voice sounded surprisingly calm, but Tiamek nodded, " Who said I had to leave you?"
And with that, she grabbed Silver Laurel off her back, golden arrow notched to it and aimed at the crazy girl/Tenshi's back.
" Tenshi! Duck!" she called out, pulling the string back and preparing to fire.Tenshi heard Tiamek call out for him to duck, and looked back a moment, seeing the lady with a golden arrow nocked to Silver Laurel, pointing right at him and the girl he was fighting.
" Blimey!" he exclaimed, quickly ducking Matrix-style just as Tiamek let fly with the arrow.
The projectile soared through the air like a golden eagle, straight and true, gliding over his nose by mere inches as it sought it's true target, the girl he was fighting against.

Paine watched as Tenshi caught her blade, her thought buzzing about her mind of what would happen next. She cocked her head at Tenshi's words. "really now...." Paine said in a whisper, her eyes opened wider as she felt the blade wrenched from her grasp. Still only slight feelings of pain, which almost made Paine want to just murder everyone insight until she found that b*****d. Paine was pushed back by the force that Tenshi had put behind the shove. "I wouldn't say that if i were you....." Her whisper voice still keeping it's evil intent behind it. Her blood started to drip down, it's clear blue look catching the light.
Paine straightened herself as she begun to advance towards Tenshi, blades spread out. That's when Paine heard the Females voice. Paine took a step back at her words from him to duck. Paine could only watch as arrow shot towards her. An arrow that's very old fashioned weapon. Paine allowed it to hit her straight in the chest. The pain was excruciating and not exactly what she was looking for. Her face twisted in pain, This wasn't a normal arrow. Paine hissed angrily as she attempt to remove the arrow, but it burn her hand. She started to sing, hallow and more aggressive them before. The ghosts behind Tiamek and Axel reacted, they hunched over and the boy started to advance towards Tiamek, while the female started for Axel.

Axel had been trying to keep up with the noises around him. Having his sight back was better than nothing at the second. He wasn't to sure what the fox lady's weapon was, but whatever it was it whizzed by at a fast speed. The angry hiss caused Axels blood to run cold as the singing started again. Axel almost placed his hands over his ears. When he felt a slight hue shift in only the two older ghosts. Axel attempted to shift and stand up, but got a head rush and fell back on his butt. "ah, bad idea. Fox there seems to be something up with the spirits." Right as Axel finished the two soul had started towards their respectable targets. "crap, just what i thought my first day of school would be like...." Axel's ears began to flatten against his head.

Tenshi had seen the girl tilt her head at his words, thinking he had heard her say something.
He succeeded in wrenching Tatsuya from the girl's hand, her eyes seeming to widen at that.
As Tenshi pushed the girl back with Tetsuya's blade, he heard her whisper, saying that she wouldn't say that if she were him, most likely referring to the earlier remark he had made.
Tatsuya's blade had a bit of the girl's blood on it, and there was some dripping from where she had grasped the blade with her bare hand.
' This woman's crazed in the head!' thought the wolf samurai, seeing her advancing towards him again, the blades on her hands now in plain sight, spread out, and no doubt preparing to attack him.
When Tiamek's voice shouted for him to duck, Tenshi saw the girl step back, before he had ducked and the arrow whizzed right over his nose.
Staggering backwards a bit, Tenshi looked up in time to see the girl take Tiamek's golden arrow straight to the chest, her face giving a grim grimace of pain.
There was an angry hiss from her as she tried to remove the arrow, but seemingly to no avail.
She then started to sing, the very same, shrill sound that they had heard earlier, but it was more aggressive then before.
Tenshi quickly blocked his ears, stepping back towards the feline and Tiamek.
" Blimey!" he exclaimed, keeping a tight grip on his blades as he looked to the crazy girl.Tiamek grinned in satisfaction when the arrow hit it's mark, right in the girl's chest, a loud hiss sounding as her face twisted in pain.
Holy golden arrow, certainly came in handy against demons, and, in this case, crazy, twisted ghost girls.
The girl started to try to remove the arrow, but no luck, not to mention that arrow was in pretty deep.
She saw Tenshi move back towards where she and the feline were as the girl started to sing, that same, shrill screaming sound from before, though it carried a much more aggressive tone.
The feline covered his ears, and attempted to stand up, only to fall back to the ground on his butt, saying bad idea and saying that there seems to be something up with the spirits.
Turning around, she saw that he was correct, covering her own ears to block out the harpy screeching noise, seeing the two spirits, the female and the boy, starting to advance on them.
The female spirit seemed to be going right for the feline, while the boy spirit was advancing towards Tiamek herself.
Tiamek hissed a bit, holstering Silver Laurel for a moment while she covered her ears.
Tenshi had his blades out still, no doubt preparing for if that crazed she-witch would start advancing again.
An idea popped into her head, and Tiamek momentarily lifted a hand from one of her ears, raising it into the air.
The sigil on her ring began to glow a bit, then got brighter and brighter as more power gathered into it.
Finally, with a huge burst, a bright, blinding flash of light emitted from the ring, growing in intensity until the whole clearing around them was filled with nothing but bright, white light.

Paine continued towards Tenshi, her ghosts following her lead, except for the child. The problem with child spirits is the fact they aren't really fighters. If they are innocent enough they don't understand fighting, but any other task they complete with flying colors. As Tenshi started to back up towards the other, the small child could only blink as the man passed through her, Janet was unaware that Tenshi had walked through her. As the female raised her hand into the air, Paine stopped her sing, while she started to walk faster toward the small group. The blinding light caused Paine to stop and shield her eyes. She was going to be damned if she was going to be blinded by the light. The ghosts of course would last in the bright light, it dissolved their forms. They could only really exist in darkened areas, but their forms would reform in a few minutes when they gathered enough energy.

Axel tried to stand again and succeeded. He didn't know if he need to defend himself or not. Probably not but he liked the idea that he might be needed. Axel hands never left his ears, but he could hear Tiamek's hiss. This didn't look to good, as he saw that Tenshi started to back up towards them. Axel became aware that the fox lad y put her hand up in the air, but was unaware of the blinding light from the ring on her finger. So when all but Paine's energy signatures disappeared, you could image Axel's confusion.
(sorry, i'm having writers block something fierce....)

Tenshi back up towards the feline and Tiamek, trying to keep his ears covered as he kept his eyes on the crazy ghost girl, who was continuing her advance towards him.
He took little notice of the fact that he had walked right through the child ghost who was sitting in front of the pair, keeping his blades out as he prepared to slash out at the crazed she-witch.
Suddenly, the singing seemed to stop, and Tenshi released his ears crossing his blade in front of him to guard as the ghost girl started to walk faster towards them.
At that moment, he turned, seeing Tiamek's hand in the air, the ring gathering bright, glowing energy into it.
He knew what was coming, and quickly shielded his eyes just as the ring let out a bright flash of light.Tiamek saw the feline attempt to stand again, this time, he succeeded, though his hands still covered his ears.
Tenshi was very close to them now, her secret plan was falling perfectly into place.
The kitsune lady felt the enormous outburst of energy from within her Asagani Clan ring, the bright light filling up the clearing.
Her ki sensing abilities kicked in, reading the energy patterns of the feline and Tenshi as she closed her eyes to block out the light.
She kept away from the energies of the crazy girl, but she could tell that the flash had stopped her advance on the group.
The energies of the spirits had disappeared, the light having dissolved their forms.
Quickly taking the momentary distraction of the ghosts, Tiamek, using her energy readings to see in the light, quickly reclaimed her hold on the feline, reaching her other arm out to grab Tenshi as well.
Focusing her energies, Tiamek quickly thought of a place, which, of course, was anywhere but with these spirits.
Her tails began to glow with a purplish energy, spreading out to surround the trio as Tiamek hugged the feline and Tenshi to her.
It had been quite a while since she had last used her teleport ability, due to the fact that the last time she did it, to save Tenshi and herself, they had ended up being thrown infinitesimal distances from their old world, and landed here at Mitomi High.
She had not wanted to use that ability again, for fear that the same thing would happen a second time, but she was going to, to save herself, her master, and this feline.
The purple glow brightened, and, with a small flash of purple aura, the trio disappeared, having been teleported out of the clearing, and were heading towards the destination that Tiamek had been thinking of, wherever that may be, for all she knew, it could be a random location.

Axel racked his brain as to why the ghosts would disappear like that. He felt the fast approach of Paine, which he turned his head towards her. She was the only one left to cause a problem for the three of them. That's when she appeared to stop singing and covered her eyes. Slowly Axel took his hands away from his ears. Tenshi had seemed to have already done the same thing. That's when it hit Axel, it was a bright light. Axel was slightly embarrassed by the fact that he didn't realize that, luck for him that no one knew what was running though his mind at that second. As the fox lady pulled him closer to her again as well as her companion, Axel had just realize that he was a wolf. The feeling of the the fox's energy easily seen as she pulled both into a hug. Before it could register with Axel they were gone.

Paine was still reeling as the light dissipated, her vision was spotty. It didn't take long to tell that the pair were gone with her kill. Paine seethed with Anger and let loose a very loud scream. "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! That b***h stole my kill!" Paine's fury was un leashed on a free innocent trees. She slashed at the trees until they were horrifically scarred with blade marks. Her ghosts returning back to form, standing and waiting for her orders. She hissed at them. "You both Were useless!" The Arrow had been burning into her skin, causing it to seep black goop. She hissed as it hurt her more. Paine decided to leave this area and find someone or something to pull this holy relic from her chest. The ghost following behind her, never leaving her side. "I swear to Morgana that the cat will die by my hands and i'll make him watch as I kill his saviors....." Paine growled and her eyes glowed an angry red as she head towards an abandon factory to nurse her new wound, until she could get the arrow out.

As the trio walked through the forest, heading back towards the school, Tiamek thought about what Axel had told her about the glassy box.
It was apparently what was called a television, and it was to give everyone an idea of current events and entertainment.
" Television..." she said softly to herself, her ears flicking about in interest.
It certainly seemed interesting, these moving pictures, maybe they were similar to the Japanese theater acts that she and her sister often snuck out to see.
She smiled at the memory, noticing that she had not let go of Axel's hand, but she didn't mind it at all, and she glanced back to him momentarily, seeing him following behind her.
Axel had also mentioned something about 'channels,' apparently having to do with the television, maybe they were those different pictures that could be controlled by this odd shaped device with buttons on it?
She glanced up at Tenshi, who was walking a bit of a ways ahead of them, though not too far.Tenshi listened as Axel said that he'd have to actually show them what a 'car' was, figuring that it must be too complicated to really explain with words.
The Bastet had explained a 'telephone' as a means of communication over long distances.
" So, communicatin' with dese 'telephones' is fasta than writin' lettas?" he asked, since that was basically how people back in the feudal era communicated over long distances, though, depending on how far apart they were, letters could take up to months, maybe even years to reach their receiver.
" Methinks I might wanna try speakin' with othas ova dese 'telephones,'" he added, chuckling a bit as he said so.
There were quite a few interesting things here at Mitomi High, Tenshi began to wonder if there was possibly a 'car' around here somewhere.Tiamek chuckled a bit at Tenshi's intrigue about the 'telephone' and the 'car,' they certainly seemed to be very interesting devices, like the television Axel had explained about earlier.
" I also remember seeing an odd, transparent house-like structure made of glass, and there were a variety of plants inside of it, not to mention it was very hot and humid! I believe they call it a 'greenhouse' or something along those lines, is it possible for people to live in these sorts of houses?" she asked to Axel, tilting her head curiously to him.
The 'greenhouse' seemed a lot like the herbal gardens back in feudal Japan, except the Asagani Clan's gardens were outdoors, and were roomier and more elaborate, with koi ponds, wood bridges and waterfalls.
She had also noticed that the 'greenhouse' didn't house any trees, maybe it was because the trees would grow too big and the structure wouldn't be able to handle it.Tenshi chuckled a bit at Tiamek's question concerning living in the 'greenhouse' that she described, and said, " Hmmmmm, dun think so, probably would be too 'ot in a 'green'ouse' to stay in dere fer long!"
She had described it as being 'hot' and 'humid,' maybe it was like that all the time, and there certainly had to be reason why one would grow plants in there.
" Though why would ya grow plants in a 'green'ouse'? Can't ya jest grow 'em outside?" he asked, glancing back momentarily to Tiamek and Axel, before looking to the path ahead of them.
