Amaya quickly but gently dressed the wound, then took two steps back. Lowering her gaze, she waited for the patron's next response, fidgeting with the hem of her tunic, unsure what to do or say.

Well I came to improve my riding skills and end up gettin' kicked in the face. Great! I throw up my arms as I turn to leave.

The stable master bristled at his comment.
"Well, riding is not for the squeamish at heart... indeed, you will likely get bucked off, stepped on the foot, kicked and bitten more than once. Such is the way it was and it always will be... but on the other hand, the extasy of the full-fledged gallop is the closest you will ever get to experience how flying like a bird would feel... it is up to you." She bowed stiffly to his retreating form.

Amaya let out a sigh of relief at his comment.
"All right, we will try again." She walked back up to Raku and petted him, murmuring into his ear. "All right boy, no need to be afraid, everything will be fine..." She held him firmly by the bridle then motioned for the patron to slowly walk up to her side. "Please come over to me, slowly, and see to it that my body is between you and Raku." She continued whispering into the horses ear.

"Well, we only have two more horses at the moment... one of them, Gigi, is only suited for the experienced rider... she has a strong head and will ony succumb to the reins of a trained horseman. Toto, the other one, is a big sweetheart... no problem there, but he is also very tall, which might not be so good if you never have ridden before. But we can try him, if you like... but first it would be nice if you made friends with Raku... it would be bad for him if we just left him like that... he shall not learn to be afraid of a patron, no matter what. So please, come closer, I will see to it that he will not hurt you again." She motioned for him to come to her side, constantly patting the horse who had begun to toss his head nervously.

"Whoa boy... steady... steady..." Amaya stroked Raku's neck. The horse's eyes were still showing some white, but it was not as bad as before. "Please, Sir, do not stare into his eyes like that... it frightens him. Now come to my side, if you please..."

I stay standing in front of Raku who was ready to leave. My eyes were very fierce at first then they turned very gentle. I continue speaking. Thysaer shar ber cadaelaer air baelaes cadaelaer Ai cyrn o shia o thondraelaer sher ser ti vaeri! Vaeri ser ti. Ai eir os o vaeri. I fall to my knees in front of him and bow putting my forehead to the ground. I felt Raku's fear dissapate, Raku's eyes returned to normal and bowed his head down to me and nipped at the back of my neck. But he did not bite me. (What is that called?)

Amaya's heart just skipped a few beats as the patron prostrated himself before the horse. What in Loki's name is he doing? Somehow, it seemed to work, though. Raku nuzzled the hair of the man almost affectionately.
"Well... that.. was interesting. Seems you two get along after all. I wonder if you can touch him now... please try -slowly- I will hold him."

I sit up and slowly stroke Raku's face who was perfectly confertable with it. Like nothing ever happened. I rise to my feet and pat him on the side of his neck.(nevermind.)

"Please adjust the stirrups to your size. You do it by putting your fingertips on the mounting and pulling the stirrup to your arm. The length is appropriate, if the bar of the stirrup reaches your armpit."
