William was going to look at Kokoro when a car pulled up and the king's adviser stepped out and had her called over. Well, William was not going to argue with a man of that political position. William then spotted August again and went over, taking Victoria with him. "Oh, August. I thought I saw you before. What are you doing here? Looking for a slave?" he asked. He then saw the food tray. "Are you feeding them?" he asked with slight bewilderment.

August heard Williams voice, looking back at him. Slight embarassment over came her "Y-yeah. Just something well...something to do, and feel good about in my petty life I guess. Get some extra cash for my parents to show them I can work.." she said, shrugging, knowing they didn't need to. Her parents weren't aware much of her at all either. She looked over at Victoria "Plus some slaves here are pretty nice, you've picked a good one out" she told him.

"Well, thank you. I always have a good eye" William said, turning to Victoria for a moment before turning back to August. His smile disappeared. "But really August, this is beneath you. You do not need the money. Our family is very well off. Leave this job to someone of lower class. A worker. Are your parents aware of this?" he stated.

August shrugged "Yeah, they know" she said. They know I'm volunteering.. she thought. She then said back more firmly, standing a bit more strong "I'll determine what is beneath me William." she said. "I feel I don't need a slave to do what I wish either.." she said. She liked William, but knew he wouldn't exactly understand. "Do you know when the next ballroom event might be?" she questioned, wondering what others were talking about. She enjoyed those.

"It should be soon. I believe one of the members of the royal family is having a birthday, but I'll need to check my calender to see who and when" William said, "and don't raise your voice at me. You may be my cousin, but you still need to know your place. Personally, I don't understand why you don't have a slave to do your bidding. It would make things so much easier, especially considering how busy our family is. Besides, whatever life they get, I'm sure it is better than being locked up in a cage".

August considered that a bit "I apologize, I wasn't aware of my voice level." she told him, as she did hold an aplogetic look. "If a slave was with me then, I'd be here days on end to volunteer for slaves. I can't own all of them either" she said. There were just way too many slaves. She felt if she owned one to free possibly, then she'd probably have to own them all. Freeing a slave? That didn't work out a long time ago. He ended up back here within the week. "I'd feel it just be just the same, but without the cage, and the slave trader possibly nagging them by mistake to get back inside. In which it could just be a burden" she told him. "I look forward to a dance" she commented.

William nodded. "Well, I will see you soon. Just remember you are a Nightrose. Do not lower yourself to the commoner's level" he said. He then bid farewell and took Victoria with him as he began looking at more slaves.

August merely nodded "It is a pleasure.." she wispered. A feeling of guilt, yet despair overcame her in mere seconds as she watched the back of him. She couldn't comprehend what Nightrose truly meant. A rose of the night? What more history did her family held? She was young for her kind, thought advanced in other ways. She wasn't sure how to feel, but like anyone else. She would do anything to fill the hole. She wondered how William dealed with his hole. His loss. She would do much for him like a slave, as she very much cared for him, and felt pity for his loss. August missed his wife, even though she was so very young, her company was missed aswell as William's better output itself. She turned to look back at A'Murry, and guessed she didn't want any food..
