Hm.... the reason why I don't have many funfacts to share is that I feel like everything about my characters is already known.... in the BOO guild, yep, that was the first time I used them, they were created there for the Halloween RPs.

All the old stuff is to stupid or embarrassing to mention. P: Like how I named Rafeal after my boyfriend..... ffffuuuu. *facepalm* Anyway, he's evolved since then, and doesn't really act like him anymore, though they still share a few characteristics.

Now, I think I can say stuff about Zethriel, since meny guild members don't know anything about him, and I put a lot of thought into him. I think he was my best character, and the rare round, 3 dimensional villan.

Let's see.... he was Rafeal's brother, and he killed Aleta's immediate family, and other members of the Rose clan. He sold his sanity, not his soul, to a demon. He wanted to keep his soul so if he were to die, he could serve the gods he worshiped in the afterlife. As a result, he went completely insane, which was useful to the people who commanded him, his father and Nethor. He would do things no sane person would, and come back alive to tell the tale. He also killed his own mother for his own freedom, she did not know her son sold his mind, and wanted to put him in a mental institute so he could get better.

Ever since then, he's had fleeting regret of what he did to himself, he had remote love for his father, he knew the grief he caused him.... though the death of his wife made him stop drinking for a while, and he focused on Rafeal, and tried to make his youngest son a fighter... but failed. Zethriel got jealous, that's when much of the physical abuse started. Like his dad, he also has a drinking problem.... I think I only got to display that once....

Anyway, he's pretty much hell-bent on killing Aleta later on, and he persues her and Rafeal to try to get the box (or key...) that has the power to spread eternal night, and unleash the old, powerful beasts that were once sealed. Then.... the Drow could have an enviroment to take over the world with, to gain control and enslave everybody else. :v The Rose clan was the guardian of that box/key thing..... or it might just be a key to open all of the gates to the demonic plain.... I don't know what the object Aleta was trying to destroy was, or what it did now. xD I need to work on that. Yeah, in the manga, it'll probably be a key.

Zethreil used to have a demonic companion, but he's no longer canon, so....

Oh yeah, and he died after a battle when he was posessed by his companion, and he turned into a beast. When she destroyed the demon useing her light powers, Aleta threw him into a hellmouth and almost died, and everybody lived happily ever after. C: And... we are so totally going to rewrite the last part of the story in the manga, guys...

Also, on the topic a little-mentioned character, Elzarahel, or Rafeal and Zethriel's mom.... I originally planned for her to be some sort of harlot, but as soon as I started developing Rafeal's character, I thought I needed a reason for him to grow up and think the way he did. His mom is from a gentler clan of Drow that would rather have nothing to do with the world, so she was a pretty nice, careing, motherly person. She taught Rafeal that some of the ideaologies of Dark Elves might be wrong... unfortunately, she didn't get through to her older son.

Good explaination... it's still hard to draw.

It looks too much like Aleta's scar... I'm probably going to change that to a simple slash, like it originally was. V: I have no idea why I switched it around... neck scars like that are uncommon. Did it have to be a specific shape?

Duriono is the strangely pleasent kind of crazy isn't he.... the bone thing is very weird, and slightly disturbing, but he isn't hurting anybody or himself. Though Aleta worries about him, and.... I've never said this, but it scares Rafeal. I should mention that. P: His brother was insane, to. But criminally, he was dangerous.... Raf thinks Duri could do something really bad one day (though in reality, not all crazy people are dangerous. That is a very small number) I'll see if I can put this into the context of the story. I'll focus on Rafeal more in the future to flesh him out a bit more as a character, but to do that, I'll have to isolate him from Aleta for a time. I give that character too much love... my minor characters are fine where they are, but Rafeal is supposed to be a major supporting character, shareing the spotlight equally with Aleta... but she kind of hogs it, and I like her too much... sweatdrop

You know... I love how our story is tinged with insanity. Kind of like Hamlet... there's revenge there, to. Apparently, there's a Shakespear in all of us.

Fun Fact: Tess still secretly fantasizes in electrocuting Duri with lightning. Even though she has the exact same weakness.

Aleta usually spends her spare time brewing potions, reading, and practiceing fighting moves. When she's not on missions, she's usually sleeping or sitting around at home with Rafeal.

Rafeal likes puzzles. Crosswords, Sudoku... some weird mathematical things only he understands. He likes surfing the internet in order to procrastinate on paying the bills.
