raisedpassion l-Kallisto-l raisedpassion BTW, the furries dont seem very interested in RAWR overall. I've invited 40 or 50 of them, S E V E N have joined. I'm a bit surprized with that, but at the same time, I've been trying to initiate conversation with them and they are just GONE man..... lol. Erm, I'm not really sure on your question there, but I'm not going to show you where erm, "half-furries" are. You're already too impressionable as is. I'm afraid you wouldn't come back to us the same and your already so loveably YOU. The only response I was able to get was when I started asking a raccoon about digging thru a trashcan. You should invite your furry friends into RAWR kallisto. The more the merrier. No no noooo you didnt get et. I was asking the people you asked were full on furries, 'I ams,' or just half furry looking people? Usually its full on furry people that you get a response from, either that or I am peoples... -.-ll

kallisto - it varies. As I understand, a furry has nothing to do with the avatar but the person well, BEING a furry.
For example, TECHNICALLY I might qualify as a furry since I'm really a grunny in a hooman costume.
However, I don't interface with other furries well. I don't roleplay digging thru trashcans, quest against humans, or have sex / date other furries. I don't really understand what it's like to believe I'm a RACCOON.
It presents barriers that I have yet to overcome, so communication has been strained at best.
I think having a higher percentage of furries in our guild is a good thing. We need more animals with us smile

"Believe" is kind of a loosely used word... Obviously if you dress up like a Raccoon then you would pretend to act like one for social appeal, but in the end everyone (including them) knows they are not a raccoon, but a Gaian with a spiffy item. Either way, I always liked role playing the character I dress as, such as the Grunny, where for some reason it becomes acceptable to cling to a legs and jump in laps. O.O Or a dog...You now have an excuse to bark.
Some people like role playing their animal all the time, others don't...
....I'm done stating the obvious. >.>

Death may surround me......
And I know people in real life that dress as furies where ever they go and honestly believe they were an animal in a past life.
But I do not embrace it

You have a point...
I saw a woman on Ripley s who tattooed her whole body to look like a cat, and cut her ears and upper lip and stuff to make her facial features look more feline.
But, I've never met anyone like that.

snappy - who said they don't believe they are racoons in real life? I'm hearing of furry CONVENTIONS where they go as you see them with the gaia avatars, cept in real life, real life furries.
I'm a freak, I do the spikes and chains look. Even I don't know what the hell I'd do if I encountered RL furries.
There is more to the obvious than meets the eye.
