Dannie laughed and looked at Akihiko. "We'll head to the park and see if Mikau is still there. He won't last a minute as a cat unless he has me to take care of him. Besides, he'll love my place. He'll have all the warm milk and tuna he absolutely needs! I'm going to spoil him rotten." she said, her southern accent starting to show.

Dannie giggled and shook her head. "I used to have a cat and I know exactly what they like. And I am not going to let our dear Mikau live out on the streets while we have warm homes to stay in. I'm an animal lover. I just can't help it!" she said with a smile as she turned on the radio to one of her favorite stations.

Dannie got out of the car and whistled before she headed into the park. "Here kitty kitty! Mikau if you're here meow or something! I don't want to run around this whole park like an idiot!" she called out as she began looking around.

"Who's Mikau?" Luce asked looking down at the girl.
"Mikau!" Ren called out, "Mikau!"
Akihiko sighed and looked around the park for Mikau.

Dannie found Mikau talking with another cat. She then heard a voice and she looked up to see a man in the tree. She jumped and shrieked before she calmed herself down. "Damn it! You scared the hell out of me! Who are you? And what are you doing up in a tree?" she asked, her face red with embarassment and anger. She looked down at Mikau and scratched his head. "Oh and to answer your question, this little fella here is Mikau." she said as she looked at the other cat, unsure of who it was.

Luce jumped down and landed on his feet. "So Mikau is a cat huh," he said, "Figures. Name's Luce. What's yours?"
Ren and Akihiko ran over Dannie when they heard her scream.
"Are you ok?" Ren asked.
Akihiko ran over and gasped. "A neko?"

Dannie handed Mikau over to Ren and she nodded. "Yeah I'm fine." she said before she looked Lance up and down. She heard Akihiko say he was a neko and that's when she noticed the cat ears on his head. She walked over to him slowly and carefully touched one of his ears. "You really are a neko. Well it's nice to meet you Lance. I'm Dannie. That's Ren and Aki. Two very great friends of mine." she said as she noticed his blue eyes. Dannie always liked things that were different so of course she was interested in a neko.

Lauce sighed and flicked his ear out of her hand. "I wasn't born like this," he said, "Last night I had red hair and eyes and now I'm like this." he looked at them and began walking away. "Not that you guys believe me," he said.

Dannie watched him begin to walk away and she went after him. She pulled his hand and made him face her. "Hey! Now wait just a minute. I wasn't saying that being a neko was a bad thing. I actually think it's pretty cool. And you can't just assume we don't believe you. We're all a little screwed up right now! I went to bed as a guy and woke up as this! And trust me, I'm as pissed as you are. But I'm trying not to care. There's no point in worrying about it because it's not going to get me any closer to finding the way to fix this." she said as she slowly let go of his hand. She realized she was letting out all her anger on him and that was the last thing she wanted to do. She didn't know him and she didn't want to bother him with all her troubles. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to snap like that." she said softly.

"And Mikau used to be a guy," Akihiko said, "So we're all a little screwed."

Dannie smiled back at him and nodded at what Akihiko said. "Exactly! But for now, we're going to have as much fun as possible with these new changes until we figure out how to change back. Starting with a little bonfire we're throwing together down at the beach." she said with a giggle. "And I know we kind of just met, but you seem pretty cool. So you should definitely come with us!" she said excitedly. She didn't know what she was thinking, or if she was thinking at all. But maybe he could help them out some how to figure out what happened to them.

Fireflight looked up at the group now standing by them. The pretty white cat looked up at Dannie.
"Mikau? Does she understand you or how does she know you
used to be human?" she meowed to Mikau. Fireflight shrugged, maybe one of these people can give me a home.
Since my mom hates kitties. She thought. Fireflight purred and rubbed against Dannie's leg.
