 Vane Nykyrian Wade Vane bit his lower lip and rushed out of the attic behind Sifen, knowing that he could do nothing to stop him. He stood behind Sifen with his head bowed, felling as if he had failed them all by not keeping Sifen safe in the attic. "I..I'm sorry..." Was all that he said, after that he fell silent and just stood there.

Within minutes,a dead guard was in front of them.Ravenca was horrified,mainly her reaction to what her son had done.
"Oh my...oh no...they're going to arrest me for sure..."she whispered.

Vane Nykyrian WadeVane looked up as he heard Sifen's mother speak. He shook his head slightly before stepping forward. "Allow me to take responsibility for this. All of you can leave and live your lives and I'll pay the death of this guard." He sighed slightly before closing his eyes and lowering his head. "You all have reasons to live, go and live as a family somewhere safe from your so called ruler. My pack would rather I have died as a pup, and other then those here, no one has ever cared about me." With that vane bent and picked the dead guard up, tossing him over his shoulder before turning to start to walk towards the front door, ready to step outside and meet whatever fate would throw at him. "Vane,that's nice of you to offer,but we can't leave.Fuhrer's orders.I do ask something.Take my son and keep him safe.Even though I cannot be with him anymore,just know they I love him."she said,handing him a sapphire locket.
At the portal,Ravenca told Sagaan everything.He nodded and opened it up again.
"Young one,it's going to be okay."Vlad whispered.

Vane Nykyrian WadeVane bit his lip and stopped at the door when Sifen's mother spoke to him. He lowered the dead guard onto the ground and turned to face Ravenca, making sure to mask his feelings as well as he could. When she handed him a locket he was confused beyond all measure but not wanting to insult her he took the locket. "Alright Ma'am, I'll keep Sifen safe, and do my best at doing so." After that Vane and the others followed her through the house and to the portal. Vane stood there in silence watching and listening to everything that was going on. He slowly turned towards Vlad as he was spoken to. "For the sake of Sifen's happiness I hope so Sir, I really hope so." Vane sighed slightly before turning to look at the portal once more. (())

Once they stepped into the portal,the younger vampire sighed.He wasn't permitted to go back anymore,which meant...the Fuhrer won.Upon returning to GAIA,Sifen decided on finding Edmund.
Perhaps he could shed some light on this.

Vane stepped through the portal just slightly behind Sifen. When they exited he was confused but followed behind Sifen. He kept close to Sifen, wanting to be able to protect him if needed. "Sifen, where is it we are going if you d-don't mind me asking."

"We're going to find Edmund."he said,storming off.Vane knew not to question him,given how the sky was turning dark.It meant that his 'master' of sorts was summoning a storm.

Vane sighed but rushed after Sifen, wanting to keep his word to Sifen's family. He would do his best to keep Sifen happy and protected. "I'm s-sorry Sifen, I didn't mean to u-upset you."
