Well, all the adults are busy fighting off dragons, right? They probably don't even notice all the younger ones running around. Perhaps after Finna gets carried off, Ketill could decide he's done losing people, and see this as a preventable measure, albeit a rather futile one. And if Ketill goes, who of us is going to just let him?
Just a thought. lol
As you could have guessed, I did plan for Ketill to be "sick of it all" and run away, but I didn't think of that being the reason everyone else left. I like it, though. =) Whatever you guys wanna do.

How are we all going to meet up together again? Seeing as how Heartless is in the village, Thaedrian and I are probably on the outskirts, Mr. E and Steel Alice are back in the hills, and Blossoms is going God-knows-where?
Also, do we have a reason why the dragons have been attacking the town? Is there a giant bloodthirsty dragon controlling them, is there a continuous battle between humans and dragons, or are they just mad at loss of territory?

Well to get everyone together the news of Finna's kidnapping would have to spread to all of them and then they would gather. (I would think?) Or the reverse of course. If needed, Jak's home is usually considered a public place outside of the village, well the library part is. So if our young characters need a safe place to regroup, by all means burst through the door. But don't be surprised if Jak is still cranky! biggrin
The giant blood-thirsty dragon in control is a very good question I've been wondering about myself. Just how closely does our world mirror HTTYD?
Are we in the same world, but on a different island? (The dragon has been defeated, and the swarm is acting on their own for the first time?)
Are we in an alternate universe? (The dragon hasn't been defeated?)
Or are we in a world where the giant dragon never existed?
If there were to be a perpetual battle between humans and dragons, or even retaliation over seized territory we would have to assume that the dragons in our world are of higher intelligence than your average wild animal. Perhaps even on par with our own...?
This is the direction I was actually hoping to lead Jak, a new understanding of intellectual equals rather than common consensus that dragons are just very dangerous predators.
But these were simply my speculations for the RP... what do you all suggest? smile

Well originally I planned on the roleplay being based on HTTYD and Lady in the Water, I don't know if any of you have ever seen it. I wrote about it in the original plot and details of the roleplay, if you want to reread it to freshen up. It has been a while since I opened the roleplay, anyways haha. But we could always stray from that, too.
As for why the dragons attack them, there are a few options:
1. When they arrived to communicate with the humans, they were misjudged and thought of without question as evil creatures, and in order to defend themselves they fought back.
2. Adding to 1, some dragons may have gotten tired of dealing with violent humans and therefore some dragons lashed out at them.
3. Some dragons could've been corrupted by an external force (dragon, magical being, etc.) and attack the humans because of that reason, so others have to blend in with them in order to try and communicate with the humans, even though they are at risk of being attacked themselves.
Note that at least some of the dragons have to be intelligent and mostly nonviolent. They're here in order to 'awaken' humans, so to speak. (:
That is, of course, unless you want to change up the game ;P

My thoughts exactly. I suppose we could just start running after the dragon, and then it so happens we come across Jak's house where you guys are, and hope that we can keep up with that big of an animal. XD
I like your first and last suggestion best, especially the part about their intelligence. I always liked the more magical, fantastic part about dragons. biggrin
Edit for Blossoms: That sounds great. 3nodding I like the 'some of them have to hide within the good to convince the humans they're not all bad' thing. Which leads way nicely into a good-dragons-versus-bad-dragons battle later if we can get there! n-n

The noise would be enough to wake Ketill. =)
But yeah, the dragons should definitely be intelligent (Lady in the Water). I don't like the idea of the big dragon controlling them (my least favorite part of the movie, kinda went against the whole befriend-those-that-are-unlike-you).
