"Nightmare" Omni's ears perked and twitched atop his head as Erics voiced called out from behind him. The dog absent-mindedly looked over his shoulder at him, blinking his amber eyes innocently at him. He let out a small snicker from his parted lips, his canine teeth glinting weakly. "I forgot! I do that a lot, try not ta be so upset by it!" He smiled at Eric, and gave him a raised thumb, before his head turned even more, to peer at Eve speaking to the new comer.
As Dadrik's voice sounded, his head spun to look back at Dadrik, his hair glinting as he did. His eyes were widened doggishly, as if a master had called to a dog. He blinked, before his sudden grin graced his face again. The Hound leaned forward slightly, his tail sweeping in a wag behind him again. "So, all I hafta do is shut up, an' you'll get me even more of it!?" The dog sat upright, proudly upright, and jutted his thumb to point at himself. "Consider me quiet, Cap'n! ..An' later, consider me full." He cracked a joke concerning the jerk, but as he did, his stomach grumbled unhappily. He looked down at it, and lowered his ears. He was hungry. His mind went back to the horses he'd slain, but he would have to hold off until the night, when they were asleep, and Dadrik was gone.
Omni had caught Izual introducing his name, and whipped around to look at the man. His eyes narrowed upon the sentiment he held for Canines, and held bcak a grin. he was right, but only on Nightmare's case. He also overheard Eric's speech. So they were planning to head out of the Green Sea? The dog held his face into his usual cheery nature, he wouldn't allow them to know any better. The Dog also wasn't going to allow this group to escape, either. They were critical to the Sorcerer's crafting, their flesh and bones useful to her arts. However, he still felt a pang of what was maybe regret, or disdain for the idea of doing so. He was too new to emotion to quite understand it, after living for merely killing, and eating. He blinked back into attention as he added to the group that they should stick togehter. "I feel like I'll agree with ya.. Eric, I think it was? This place is dangerous, partially because they outnumber us. They'll go for tha ones that are aline, like I was when the hound got ta me." he trailed off.
Eveline introduced the group to Izual and as his ears were called odd, he blinked at her oddly, reaching up for the furry organs atop his head. "I dun think these are strange, Eveline. I mean, sure, they're both different color, but.. If anyone's ears are weird, I say it's 'is!" he added with a cheery sarcasm, his tail lashing slightly.
Eric spoke again, and he blinked at him. "Well, I suppose yer right on Maarick's speed, but how can ya be sure he'd be able ta find us again? If we jus' up 'n left 'im here, would he know where ta go? I kinda feel as if we should still wait for 'im." The dog didn't know what to say to convince them, but they needed to stay here. He wasn't going to be able to shift anytime soon, and devour them. Especially, not in a city.
His eyes narrowed as Izual ran toward the carriage. the dog's fur bristled with aggression, before he charged madly after him. The creature was not only messing their plans up, but he was going toward the carriage--where his fallen meals were. Something triggered within his Doggish head, that that was precisely what the leech was going for. Stupid bat couldn't hunt his own food..
"Hey, get back 'ere, ya Bat! Yer unna die out there alone!"

Iz𝖛𝖆l ℙℜℴsℙℇℜℴ
Izual ran as quickly as his legs could carry him, over fallen twigs, and around any larger rocks. To fall now would certainly mean losing his dinner. And, what a dinner it could be! The poor bat was used to feeding from small animals, usually already deceased squirrels, and cats. He was a scavenger, and had to make do with bodies that hadn't been yet found by other animals, or were the least touched. He would go for bigger animals, like cows and horses and even humans, but being physically weak he was never comfortable with taking that chance. If he was caught, how would he fight back?
This is what motivated him as he ran quickly toward the fallen carriage. He could hear the dog chasing behind him, but didn't pause for even one moment of time. He MUST get there first, and he would!! Several minutes passed before the carriage and horses came into his view, and he chanced a glance over his shoulder. As expected he'd gotten there first,t hanks to his head start. One horse was a decent distance from the other, and Izual immediately shot to the one that gave off the greater scent of blood. He knelt down before the fallen creature, and buried his face into its neck feeding greedily on the cold blood.

No sleep No sleep until I am done with finding the answer Won't stop Won't stop before I find a cure for this cancer Sometimes I feel I going down and so disconnected Somehow I know that I am haunted to be wanted . Maarick gave her a soft smile as she showed her wind ability. He knew she would one day be able to do so, his blood did run through his. But only half of what he was. "Hmm. Wind huh?" he said softly. " You know, perfect that and so much more opens up for you." He said with a light nod. " As for fast, you think you could keep up with me or my brother?" he asked lightly. Maarick then stood up and looked over to Ayna and Alerius. Darkness started to shroud the sky, starts were starting to show up in the sky. " I do think it be best if we go to the others now, its getting late and Dadrik's about to leave them. So everyone prepare yourselves." He said as the wind around them all started to gently blow.
The Phantom blaze Dadrik listened to Eric, he was right. They could handle themselves, the only real problem would of been the Hellhound from earlier. But it seemed to go away or at least it was stalking them. Dadrik nodded at him. " Yes, he could catch up to you no problem. So You actually be best to start heading there now. " Dadrik turned to Omni and gave him a bit of a awkward look but it had a bit of annoyance in it as well. He then took a breath and decided to answer. " Well as weird as it sounds, we rely more on taste then Smell. Our smell is strong yes, but taste is more potent to us. So as long as we have at least met you once, we can track you. It wouldn't be a problem finding you guys, it wouldn't take him long. But in this case it doesn't matter because he's about to be back." he said looking from Omni to Eveline then to Beatrix. He took a step closer to her and smiled. Taking her hand he laid a soft kiss on her hand. " I will be back soon...it may be a bit though." he said as His body flickered to nothing, then no sooner, Lilith's did to right before Izual took off back toward the horses.
They say.... That I must learn to kill before I can feel safe But I I rather kill myself then turn into their slave Sometimes I feel that I should go and play with the thunder Somehow I just don't wanna stay and wait for a wonder

~+~Aura~+~ Aura looked away from him to hide a grin from his comments about their fight but it quickly faded as he remembered his sword. Her eyes widened as she retrieve his sword using the odd portals he could create. She remembered getting sent though them and she didn't find them to be pleasant at all. She listened quietly as she walked through the tall green grass. Her pace slowed once again and she turned to him. "Enjoy this world? Theres nothing to enjoy. All I wanted was to get away from that darkness...I don't want to be trapped again. I'm not expecting much. I doubt that there is anything out here for me but at least I can fall and fade on my own terms." She shook her head and started to walk again. She really didn't know where she was going and she wasn't trying to loose him anymore. "I'd rather not have a baby sitter but I feel as though your going to follow me regardless. As long as you don't get in my way then fine. Do whatever you want. I don't care.. There is nothing to prove to me and I'm sure that it is you that couldn't keep up with me." she let out a soft sigh. She was tired of being angry and frustrated with him. Instead she'll tolerate his company for the time being until he gets annoying again.

The future's just around the bend But always changing is the end Petty cash for hopes and dreams Nothing is quite as it seems... Eric Halen Has the future changed? --------------------------- Looking at the little scene Omni and Izual had made, Eric sighed. "If Maarick is going to be here in a moment, we should get going as soon as possible. The problem is that we shouldn't be leaving Omni and Izual... And speaking of Izual, does anyone think that he's trying to slow us down. He keeps acting weird, like he wants us to stay out in the night. Plus, he ran back over to the carriage from the looks of it. Is anyone else suspicious?" Eric looked around, and then remembered his ominous vision. He shivered. Something was definately up. Eric started to think that maybe Izual could have sent the hellhound after them, and he was the one causing the trouble. He was probably just acting like he wasn't really talented with anything.
Eric looked around, thinking about everything. He took in the events, and processed them in his brain. With all that down, Eric decided he would wait until Maarick got back, since it would be any second, from what he understood. Eric decided that was the perfect time to talk the Eveline about some... Stuff. He walked over to Eveline. "Excuse me, Eveline. Can I talk to you?" He asked sorta awkwardly. ...Telling lies to get your way Breaking hearts most everyday Go fill them with that which is fake The fortune teller's pay is at stake

Well, if it's not real You can't hold it in your hands You can't feel it with your heart And I won't believe it
Eveline Valdigraph Eveline called after Izual as he ran off through the grass and Omni chasing after him. Soon she watched Beatrix chase after the man. "Damn..." she whispered with a frown on her soft lips. "Beatrix! Get back here! You'll get hurt!" She let out a soft sigh and shook her head. Should she follow too? She wasn't so sure if it was safe to go back that way in case the demon dog chose to show up again. Would they be okay on their own? She started to take a step in the direction that they went off to but she then heard Eric's voice speak to her and turned to him.
Eve gave him a soft smile and nodded to him. "I think they'll be fine right?...Yes. Is there something on your mind?" she asked with a tilt of the head. Her deep blue eyes scanned over him and she noticed slight discomfort in how he presented himself. "Something wrong? Did I do something?" she asked.
But if it's true You can see it with your eyes Even in the dark And that's where I want to be
What a shame we all became, xxxxxxxxsuch fragile broken things, A memory remains, xxxJust a tiny spark, xxxxxxxI give it all my oxygen, XXXXXXXXXto let the flames begin, XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXOh glory...

~+~Beatrix~+~

Beatrix gave Dadrik a small smile as he kissed her hand. She watched him flicker until he was gone and let out a soft sigh. Trix hoped that he did return soon. She find that things felt so much better if he was close but there was nothing she could do now. He had to leave. She glanced over to find the odd eared running off and Omni chasing after him. She bit her lip then let out a heavy sigh. She didn't feel right leaving the bat and the dog together. "Hey!" she called after them. Trix then started to run after him. The boy could be picked off by the monsters that roam this area if he they found him. What an idiot! He's going to get himself killed. She thought as she raced through the tall grass after him.
Beatrix soon found herself at the sight where their carriage had been attached by the monster dog earlier that day. Her running came to a halt and she took a few moments to catch her breath. Her deep green eyes fell on the bat as he feasted on the dead animal and held back the urge to vomit. The sight or smell of blood never sat well with her stomach. "Oh come on now! What in goddess name are you doing? Are you that stupid? Your going to get yourself killed bat." she snapped at him. "You can find another meal later. Right now this isn't a safe place to do this!"
.
Somewhere weakness is our strength, And I'll die searching for it, I can't let myself regret, such selfishness, My pain I know the trouble caused, no matter how long, I believe that there's hope,
buried beneath it all..
((sorry my replies area bit weak. I'll to better next time ))

Orpheus let out a light sigh at her words. Not because of the babysitting comment but because of her thought process. One, she did not thing there was anything for her and two, because she talked so easy about falling and fading. She sounded as if she already gave up before she got a chance to really live, even after being given her own life. " Aura, you still don't get it..but I'm hoping, sooner than later, you realize what I'm getting at. There is always something for someone, even you. even if you are not completely natural. This world can be beautiful if you give it the chance." he said walking next to her still, at the same pace as her not falling behind.. " As far as you falling and fading, it won't be as easy or painless as it would of been when you were just a personality." He smiled softly shifting his gaze to her. " Don't think of it as babysitting, more like someone trying to get to know you." Orpheus then let out a bit of a smirk. " Oh think what you want doll, maybe one of these days we will have a bit of a spar. " Orpheus continued to look forward. All the mean while wondering where they would end up.

Alinia shakes her head as she looks up at Maarick. "I highly doubt it."She giggles, she never really fully controlled her power, and bumping into castle walls and objects while accidentally doing her skills was not what she would call easy to handle, playing with her top a bit she looked at Alerius and mimics his stance though she soon shook her head and stood loosely her little self eager to hopefully see Dadrik, it had been a long time and her joy was really hard to contain as she bobbed a bit. "I'm ready."She says kindly but eagerness was a definite in her tone, she enjoyed popping places with Maarick and Dadrik they to her had the cool way of getting from one place to another.
Alerius nods his hand lightly resting on his blade, what the knight is thinking is anyone's guess but he nodded to Maarick as he looked at his friend and little Alinia, not that he was worried or concerned but he stood calmly ready if his skills were needed. "As am I."he says coolly not that he was fully used to the wind moving but he dealt with it a little sick feeling never bothered the long time Holy knight.
Ayna smiles as she looks at Maarick and Alinia as she stands near them all, it had been sometime but she looked around seeing the gentle wind. "Let us go."She says with a nod as she looks to Maarick and then to Alerius she knew her teacher never did well with the teleporting and wind moving but he never complained and it was a good thing in his view, she smiles looking back at Maarick with a nod.

No sleep No sleep until I am done with finding the answer Won't stop Won't stop before I find a cure for this cancer Sometimes I feel I going down and so disconnected Somehow I know that I am haunted to be wanted . Maarick gave a calm smile and nodded toward Alinia. "The speed you have now, takes time to master completely." He said lightly to her. "I'll help you train." He said lastly. Turning toward Ayna he moved until he placed himself between all three of them. He turned his head toward Alerius and laughed a bit. "Old friend still not used to this I see." he said with a small laugh. Then turning away back to Ayna looking into her eyes. It had truly been a long time since he was able to look into them, and now she was here he did not want to take his eyes away. "Your eyes, they're still so beautiful." He said with a compassionate smile. No sooner after he said that, the wind swirled around them all. "Wind shift." He muttered as the wind engulfed them all and they vanished.
They all arrived just before Beatrix took off running, just as Eric was speaking. Beatrix was to busy paying attention to Omni and Izual to realize four people just showed up behind the group. Maarick turned his attention toward Eric though. "Slow us down you think?" He said abruptly, not knowing if Eric realized they were there or not. " I doubt that, he just seems hungry. Plus his nervousness is to natural to be faked. Honestly, I just think the guys like that. My guess is he is new to this being around people. ." He said looking into the sky, starts started to show and only a hint of light still was scene. " When I met him, it seemed like the Carriage was a way out of the sun, but since it is basically night now there is no use for that. The only other reason to go back is because He is part bat, so the horses provide a nice meal for him, hence why he ran back to the Carriage. He's going of instinct and his feelings. He wants to stay out in the night because its his nature." He said with a short nod. He looked away toward Ayna and then back at Eric. His breath at the moment a bit unsteady. Using his wind shift at such a state with so many people at once started to take a toll on him. " If anyone should be in suspicion, Omni would be the one. Even I can't get a complete read on him. His soul seems fractured and his emotions confused. Its like he's struggling with himself, not knowing what he wants or... even knowing what he's feeling. Like it's new to him. Thats what I gather from his emotions. And his words..they don't always have truth behind them, like he's hiding something. Maybe, he's afraid of what we might think or do...or maybe h just doesn't want us to find out. Either way, he's being watched closely." He said looking around to notice Dadrik and Lilith was gone, Kazale still here. " Hmm, seems he already left for now."
Turning toward Alinia, Maarick smiled. "I'm sorry, He had to go take care of something but he should be back soon." Maarick said with a quick nod.
The Phantom blaze Kazale watched as Beatrix took off, waiting till the right moment. One Maarick had arrived his claws dug into the ground and his paws began to move. Kazale started to run catching up to Beatrix but staying behind her, He was here for one thing, to protect Beatrix and the others. Now that Maarick was with Eveline and Eric he could go after the Omni and Beatrix. Izual was already at the Carriage so he'd be there soon as well.
They say.... That I must learn to kill before I can feel safe But I I rather kill myself then turn into their slave Sometimes I feel that I should go and play with the thunder Somehow I just don't wanna stay and wait for a wonder

"Nightmare" The Hellhound continued to charge headlong after the bat. He had let his gaze avert behind him, to catch the flickering form of Lilith and Dadrik disappearing.. He couldn't help but smile at such a sight, before his anger lashed out again, his sprint increasing. His legs could bare the exercise Izual seemed to avoid--or rather, Nightmare was too determined and oblivious to think of saving energy-- as he charged over the large rocks, breaking twigs upon the grassy ground by running his shins into them mid-gait. His amber eyes glared out at his target-- the Leech. Izual seemed to intend upon feasting off of his kills..!
His ears perked atop his blond head suddenly. A sound his them. He did not stop, nor slow down, s he cast his head back through his flowing golden hair. She was chasing after them, though the dog could not scent the intetions of feasting off his kill. Perhaps she felt the need to stop them before they reached the area. After all, they seemed fearful of the carriage, the last place the hound was seen in his true form. Something about the scent of the horses' blood made his fangs bear from his lips, and for a moment, he fought back a transformation.
Minutes had passed, and Nightmare was almost close enough to grasp at the leech's large ears, before he changed direction entirely, toward the horse that he had killed last. It was the one that had less blood loss, as the wound it bore were not as severe, and the grass below it's muscular form were not as stained as the other. H knelt down, his actions giving off the aura of starvation as he forced his pale face into the cold flesh, feeding greedily.
His eyes narrowed, upon Izual as if venomous needles, or the fangs of a viper. Yet, as moments passed, the Hound realized something that alleviated his rage, and his damned desire to shift and beat the winged rat into the ground alongside his other kills. Izual was not actually eating the flesh. All he was doing, was what was in his nature: Sucking the blood out of the creature. The dog ski, tearing grass blades in his wake. Along side him was Beatrix, catching her breath. He was not as exhausted as she, but he too was breathing at an increased rate.
She exclaimed unhappily, as if the sight disgusted her-- but for different reason that it did Nightmare. She.. was appalled by the act, his nature of blood-sucking off of a past-dead corpse. He held back his grin of sly amusement, and felt the need to get the bat away still. The only way he would be doing this successfully, without giving his position away, was to argue her points. He stepped closer to Izual, and grasped his shoulders weakly, yanking his face away from the beast. Upon inhaling, it was rasped and ragged, at first a gurgle, escalating into a deep, hellish growl.
His voice ripped from his through in a similar manner. "She is correct, Leech. You do not possess the right to march into the wilderness of the Green Sea and steal another's kill.. Unless, of course, your intention was to be come some else's meal.." AS he finished, he jerked harder upon the shoulders of the male below him, upon the ground, before letting go. In this moment, his words were not like before: They were said with a correct dialect, seethingly so.. as if anger drove him to do so.

Iz𝖛𝖆l ℙℜℴsℙℇℜℴ
Face buried in the clammy neck of a past deceased horse might seem gross in retrospect, but Izual saw it as a golden opportunity: a blessing. Being a scavenger, and not as physically strong in body as other predators might be, he took every opportunity to get food that crossed his path. To him, these two dead, cold horses were gourmet and he treated them as such. Loud slurping noises distrubed the air, and the sounds of his swallowing were none too subtle. With the way he hunched over, face buried and fangs embedded one might think he'd been starved to the point of near-death. This wasn't entirely the case, occasionally he stumbled upon very small dead animals, already half-eaten away by hawks and wolves. And, he would occasionally hunt smaller rodents and mammals when his hunger called, but he could hardly ever say he felt 'full'.
And now he treated the horse like a lifeline, as if to be refused the right to feed from it was unacceptable. His large ears were always perked and ready for whatever sounds might greet them, and they twitched a bit to acknowledge the sounds of running. Therefore, he sensed there were the presence of others, and a glance upward ascertained this thought. His crimson eyes lingered on Beatrix for just a moment. As he looked up at her, he did not stop what he was doing for one moment. Fangs still puncturing into the horses artery, he stared at her. The thought to first cross his mind was perhaps she would like to eat the horse and in which case he'd likely back down.
However, her words disproved his theory and surprised him. He heard her though as she spoke, still not moving an inch from his dinner. He said nothing as at the moment to speak would prove quite difficult, and instead he looked away from her. This act of dismissal might be rude, but he hadn't meant it as a rude gesture, he merely wanted to turn his full attention back to his meal. This did not last long. There was another person there, the one he'd been racing with to get to the meals in the first place.A firm hand grabbed his shoulder, and he tried to cling to the neck he drank from. His hands shot out to hold to the horse but it was futile. He was not as strong as Nightmare, and unfortunately his face was pulled right away from the horse. Horse blood stained his lips, and decorated his face around the chin and mouth area, even to the nose. He'd never been known to be the neatest eater, being more concerned with feeding than keeping clean. The growl emitted by Nightmare scared him a bit, setting his heart to racing, and he glanced over at the man's face. He frowned upon hearing the words, one with such malice none too well hidden in them. The dog spoke in a much more coherent way, a way that made his skin crawl. Fearfully, he nodded quickly. Though he gave in, in gesture he was still struggling against the grip, his sights focused on the fallen horse. He wanted to get back to his meal, he might as well finish it now. "I just wanted to finish..I was hungry!" he insisted, eyes still on the body.

The future's just around the bend But always changing is the end Petty cash for hopes and dreams Nothing is quite as it seems... Eric Halen Has the future changed? --------------------------- The thought that maybe Omni was the one causing trouble really made Eric wonder. What was everyone's goal, now. So many strangers kept appearing, each one with a some sort of issue, and each one with something that made them very supsicious. Omni was unreadable, Izual was causing trouble. The Da'vions were mysterious as usual, and also interfering with Eric's abilities. The poor fortune teller was starting to lose it. Plus he now had started a conversation with Eveline. There was no backing out of that one. The stress had started to show on his face. Part of him was willing to toss everything aside and start invading peoples privacy. He did it for money, so why couldn't he do it for his own good. Things were truly driving him insane. He was ready to read everyone, and know them for who they are. He was really thinking about. His hand started to reach for his crystal ball, but he stopped. It was best not to. Grabbing the crystal ball right then would be foolish. Shaking his head, Eric decided it was best to just try and calm down. He needed to talk to Eveline. It was time to focus on that, and only that.
He looked the noble woman in the eyes. "No. You didn't do anything wrong. I'm not sure that's even possible. That's definately not why I want to talk to you. I just kinda really wanted to know what you were trying to say earlier. It sorta seemed important, but then you decided not to say it. I'm just really curious. I mean, if something's on your mind, you can tell me. Isn't that sorta what I'm here for?" he smiled, albeit awkwardly. The stress from his face had faded, and he was ready to listen. ...Telling lies to get your way Breaking hearts most everyday Go fill them with that which is fake The fortune teller's pay is at stake

Well, if it's not real You can't hold it in your hands You can't feel it with your heart And I won't believe it
Eveline Valdigraph A small frown appeared on Eveline's delicate lips for a moment. Her cheeks turned a slight pink and she looked away from him. "What I was going to say earlier...." she started but then she noticed Maarick's arrival and shook her her head. She took a step towards him and gently place long pale index finger on the tip of Eric's nose. "I'm sorry. But this is a matter that we can talk about when we get to a village, alright?" she asked with a warm smile. "Can you wait just a little bit longer?" she asked as she gently pulled her finger away from his nose.
She turned to the Da'vion and her eyes shifted from him to the others that he brought with him. "Oh my, Are they friends of your's, Marrick?" she asked with a light tilt of the head. Her deep blue eyes scanned over the two women and the man. She noticed the point to their ears and raised a brow. Elves? She thought. Where did they come form? She started to wonder how Beatrix would take to them. She knew Trix hadn't seen another of her mother's kind in some time now.

Beatrix glanced over at the wolf that had followed her and blinked. She had almost forgotten about him. She let out a soft sigh and glanced over at the Bat and Omni. The tone in his voice sounded rather odd to her. It didn't sound like it normally did which made her slightly worried. He sounded rather angry. "Alright you two. Come on now. Lets just go back and meet the others, alright? This place is foul with death...the scent it disgusting. I don't know how you can stomach that crap." she shook her head and crossed her arms. If he was really tat determined to drink from the corpse then she would let him, but quickly. If he wanted to travel with him then she would wait for him.
A worked her way across her lips as she watched the odd man grab the kid form his meal. She felt bad for him and didn't want to tear him away from something if he really needed it. "Omni...was it?Don't be so rough with him. let the kid go....If he really needs it, just let him finish." Trix turned away from the sight. It was starting to make her sick. The smell was really starting to become unbearable. "Besides, I'm sure you want to get out of the sun...the sooner we peddle around here, the longer it will take to reach a village." Her arms fell to her sides and she reached out to place her hand gently on the wolf's fur and ran her fingers through it.. "Who knows when those things will be back...You could have really gotten your self hurt kid." she
.
Somewhere weakness is our strength, And I'll die searching for it, I can't let myself regret, such selfishness, My pain I know the trouble caused, no matter how long, I believe that there's hope,
buried beneath it all..

"Nightmare" The bat struggled against his grasp, but it seemed Nuightmare had the capacity to keep his clawed ebrace upon his shoulder bones tightly. After a few passing moments, he'd released the creature. Omni's eyes gained a harsh gleam, as if the gleam of a blade. Something about them was unnatrual, as if tainted with anger. However, as Izual looked to his face, he gave him a very fear-filled, swift nod. The dog almost felt a cruel amusement from the look he saw within the crimson eyes of the bat.
For a moment, even Omni was confused by his own tone. His eyes blinked as Beatrix spoke, the inner Hound easing away, letting his more human slivers of a soul gain control once again. He smiled sat her, though it was almost sarcastically curled upon his lips as she spoke of not being capaple of stomaching this. For him, this was the scent of a banquet.. One that, of course, he had to resist digging into. Which, as the slurping came from the bat earlier, became almost unbearable. "Let him finish it, ya say? So, we should stand 'round like a bunch 'a ducks as the creature knows we're up and at 'em, and with it's kills ta boot? I dun think ya get it: Creatures like that are territorial-- all canines are.. Particularly, when they're hurt an' too weak ta kill somethin' new.."
He paused as Izual spoke. "Well, listen ta' Fox over there. Yer unna get yerself killed. Yer jus' steppin' on toes we can't step on. If yer tha' hungry, I could get ya somethin' without the danger. Sound good? Because.. We should probably go now, bud~."
He leaned back as a stretch, his ears perking to catch Beatrix speaking, his honey eyes upon her curiously. He'd lost his malice, as his fluffy blond tail brushed the tips of the grass behind him.

Izual had frozen up in Omni's grasp. He knew a futile fight when he saw one, and he would not start anything with someone that could likely harm him easily. Still, he his eyes were still locked to the bloodied neck wound he'd put in the side of the fallen horse, with a slight longing. A small huff sound escaped him, almost like the irritable sound of someone who wanted something badly and had been told no.
His red eyes flickered to the kind one, the fox-girl. She had said the nicest things to him as of late, and he felt a tad bit more secure with her. He fixed his gaze on her now as she spoke, and a faint smile paved its way onto his face, seeming to dull the still fearful expression in his eyes.
"I am very sorry" came Izual's soft reply. I did not mean to cause so much trouble, I just wanted the horse so badly" he admitted. "It is just laying there, what if another bigger creature takes it away! I have not had the chance for a feast like this in a very long time."
He had not failed to notice that strange gleam in Omni's eyes, a cruel, almost demonic edge had held them, and was swiftly gone. A shudder passed through the bat's frail, slight-framed body and he fearfully wiggled a bit in the grasp holding him.
Having been freed finally, he cowered away a bit, and staring to the ground he said quickly "Yes...Let us go to somewhere safe..You will find me new food?" with that, he upturned his eyes to Omni, eyes hopeful.
