Brief Bio: As Astra said upon discussing Shade’s personality, “Ahh the Bru family men, all handsome, stoic, smart, and burdened by glorious women,” and I rather like it. As an adult he is rather gentlemanly with an occasional snarky or sarcastic twinge- he is amused by many things, but mostly by his hilarious family. As a child he was the more placid one of the bunch, following after one of his mom’s hooves, not necessarily shy, just quiet. And often getting his ‘I told you so’s’ in when a certain adventurous filly does something not so well-thought out.

hair, well I only have a thought for his mane, which was maybe like a longer, shaggier version of Willow Wisp’s? Astra sent me a few pics and maybe they’ll be inspiring.

I am an overflowing font of excitement, anything you do will be perfect, all of my boys have been A+ hot and I am endlessly grateful.
Summary of Purpose in Life: General consensus with the other lasses have helped me come to the conclusion that Shade will be a spiffing alchemist!
(Also possibly a connoisseur of lingerie from all ages of history. Long story. We joked a lot about his business being called Nighshade’s Emporium of Elixirs and Intimate Apparel. He’d have deals for snakeoil ‘love potions’ + lingerie purchase combos, savvy businesstallion that he is.) But mostly he grows plants of various helpfulness and then makes ‘potions’ and ‘elixirs’ that don’t really compare to modern medicine if they do anything at all, but hey, that’s all part of the charm. Some natural remedies work, some are a load of bunk, but it’s playing with all the old lore that’s the fun part.
Cutie Mark: So at my local Teavana I saw this thing of a
flowering tea and it suddenly jumped to mind for this. So maybe a lovely old-timey looking bottle
(like these shapes but without all the detailed ridging because I would inflict that on no person- note I like the middle one, but the neck may be too long for rumpsize??) with a brilliant purple nightshade flower having bloomed inside. Maybe swirly smoke. Or glowy-looking bits. Like the flower looking glowy with glowy flecks in the water? I don't know- again, clueless babby, you know best.
