The girl who had been shoeless eariler spoke up, and Quarria give a quick nod of her head at the girl. "Of course the offer is still good. Just pick a seat anywhere you wish. If you need to, you can sit up near where my wings meet my body, farther down then my shoulder joint, and snuggle in them there. You could warm up your feet if you need to. And you can drop your bag on my back, too." She offered, lowering her body a bit so that more of her back was reachable, and thus more sitting room was provided. She was absolutely loving all of this, and she could feel her body starting to circulate slightly warmer blood, which was good since she was technically kind of a reptile. "I seem to have missed getting introduced to you. I'm Quarria Reikis. Who might you be?"

Basil had wide eyes and stared, confused when the tree ran off. "Se-self destruct?" she watched the tree run away, but it dropped something! Basil ran to pick up the present and happily examined it.
She went back to Jamie grinning "I'm sure warmed up now! and look! I got the loot!" She showed Jamais her present before bending down to pick up the tent and slung it back on her shoulder,. "Yes, lets get going, and it completely makes up for it...well, it was your food, so it sucks it got wasted." Basil frowned apologizing.

"Wing, please." He nearly purred in his excitement. He might have purred, had he been the correct species and been in his feline form. Instead he puffed air out his nose happily and coiled into the offered wing as quickly as possible. It was so soft and warm - he nearly passed out at the pleasure. He was not meant to be in the cold.
"Faint. Weretiger. It's a pleasure to meet you. Especially since you are delightfully warm." He snuggled a little bit, against his normal character, just because he was so happy no to be sitting miserably in the snow.

Junko smiled and nodded, carefully climbing up in a way that wouldn't give anyone below her a peek up her ruffled skirt as she climbed up to where the ghoul's wings met her body. Sowaaaaaarm! She sighed happily and snuggled up close against the feathers. "I'm Junko. It's very nice to meet you, Quirria. And thank you for allowing us to ride on you like this." Hey! Maybe them riding on Quarria's back would get them to Sandy Claws' factory faster! This was genius!

Well, things were looking up, now weren't they? Granted, he was still torn between feeling horribly uncomfortable and extremely lucky, but the fact he'd managed to regain some of his body heat was doing a good job at keeping him glued to the girls. He'd make sure to make it up to them later; he honestly felt like he owed them for helping him out in his time of need, "A party doesn't sssseem like such a bad idea right about now," he hissed out as he snuggled himself once more on top of Alcie's head, scowling at the trees around them. He could see one attacking someone out the corner of an eye, and idly wondered if the student had it all under control, "I wouldn't mind being indoors, with some drinks, some food, and some nice mussssic."
Gabrian wasn't entirely sure how this arrangement could be at all... comfortable for the two girls holding him, but seeing as how they were happy, well then, he wasn't about to complain, "Yessss..." the word was stretched out, eyes hooded as the succubus stroked his scales, "Thank you very much for all the help. I'm in your debt," despite the fact he wasn't shaking on it, he was a snake of his word; Sin might've noticed that as time passed, his body was indeed growing warmer.
"You are extremely generous," this was aimed at Quarria, whom he eyed from his place on Alcie's head, "My name is Gabrian," he took the time to look at the large serpent's body before tilting his head, "I find your true form to be most majestic indeed. Lovely shade of blue," he planned on moving around the girls so that he could lay on their laps, hopefully keeping their legs as warm as possible with their bodies.
His gaze followed Junko's familiar voice and he paused to check on Quarria; if the large serpent was cool with it, he honestly had VERY little problem with a big, happy, WARM (thank JACK) snuggle pile, and the more, the better. Just as long as the Serpent could handle them all together.
Of course... he was in his serpent form at the current moment, and it never crossed his mind that he might not stay in that form for long.

Jamais smiled and flicked her tail again, "Heh, they're silly trees even if they are drunk or something."
"I'm glad you're warm. Eh we'll get some more in town. Hopefully it's not stomach turning like that burnt stuff on the train." Jamais shrugged walking at least she had on boots. "Remind me to get snow boots next time we ride a train and bring a few changes of clothing. That way if we end up on a beach or in this snow waste land we'll at least be warm next time."

Hehe. Feeling Gabrian's head resting on top of her own, Alcie wasn't bothered at all by the current arrangement and everything seemed rather... peachy right now. Alcie grasped onto Gabrian's form as she moved up to sit on top of Quarria's back and as she was doing so, she replied to Quarria, "Thank you very much for the ride. It's a pleasure to meet you Quarria. The circumstances aren't all too great but still a pleasure. My name is Alcyone but feel free to call me Alcie." Mm. No longer shaking, Alcie was feeling much better now that she was sharing body heat with the other students.
"Your wings are lovely, Quarria." Running her hands through her feathers, Alcie sometimes wondered what it would be like to have a non-humanoid form. Potentially inconvenient in instances like this but it seemed like fun. Smiling at the other students getting up on Quarria's back, Alcie didn't mind times like these even though they were probably still going to have to battle. Though with all of the students up here it might as well be a party anyway!

Basil frowned "They could at least notice it hurts us though." She felt her stomach were the tree had hit and made her fall. She was sure a big bruise was hiding under her shirt.
"Are you sure we will get food there? I don't really think they are gonna hand us free food while we raid their JOYful town."Basil wondered if the Halloween students had gotten any attention from things other than talking trees. Shifting her tent she looked back at Jamie and smirked "I'll be sure to do that, and hopefully we will be told where exactly we are going before climbing on a train."

Jamais flicked her tail, "Eh we're pillaging a workshop. They're bound to have food somewhere. They never said we couldn't take a few provisions."
Jam glanced at Basil as she felt her stomach. "You going to be alright?" She asked curiously.
"Eh they probably won't tell us, that's why I figured have something for most of the possible situations and we'd at least not roast or freeze."

Johan watched, dumbstruck, as one student after another battled the over-eager trees. This entire thing was nonsense. This wasn't a raid, it was a fever dream. Perhaps he was still on the train, knocked unconscious by the reigndeer, or maybe he'd fallen asleep on the way to Amityville? He would have very much liked to believe either of those options. Unfortunately, the biting cold on the soles of his feet would most definitely have woken him up from the latter, and he was still sore from the former.
He was about to take up the blue amphithere's offer of a ride when a tree decided to attack her. Was the tree blind? It was attempting to attack a dragon that was probably longer than two train cars put together. At least there wasn't much chance of the trees doing serious damage, considering they were idiots. So far, only the succubus had the most difficulty with her opponent, and Johan figured her attire (or lack thereof) had something to do with it. He watched the blue dragon with interest, wondering how she planned to fight the tree with a bunch of passengers on her.

HP: 5Damage: 1Damage to Quarria: 7-6 = 1 damage to Quarria. Damage to Tree: 12 - 6 = 6 ULTRA KO'D Suddenly a tree wobbled out of the tree-line, and had set it's...eyes(? whatever.) on her. This thing must be really out of it if they thought a thirty-foot long serpent was a pretty anything. Quarria immediately reeled back for a moment as the stench of it made her gag, and cough hard enough to cost her a health point. "I'm sorry everyone! Please take strong hold of a scale or horn around you! This ride may be slightly bumpy...! Sin, Alcyone, Faint, Junko, Gabrian, hold tightly!" And with that her feather crest flared and she let out a hiss, her sharp dragon mouth dripping with venom. She lunged the more frontal part of her body (such as her neck-head area, not her front scales) toward the tree, preparing to bite right through it's drunken bark.
(Her reaction to hitting/ko'ing is below. If I'm not supposed to include this or it's a bit like moding, disregard it, okay? ^^; (Or if her venom is too much of a natural ability.))
Her bite connected straight into the trunk of the tree, seeping flammable venom from her mouth that was now all over the bark. If something happened to cause a spark, that venom would go straight up in flames, and even if that didn't happen, as she pulled back with her mouth, it tore a size-able hole in the JOYous tree, enough to kill it, even. She then dropped the chunk of wood so she could check on everyone.
Quarria's HP: 24 HP.

"Ha, I don't know. So far things have been pretty easy," he kind of hoped they would stay that way. "Based on our experiences with the deer, though, I think we will be just fine," confidence was in his voice, they had done pretty well...meaning they had lived. "A shame about your book, for sure." Draven had been brought up to respect books, as they were filled with knowledge and ideas.
"Onward to the Sandy Claws!" Draven laughed as Alerick bounced ahead of them. He smiled at Eracs, and then one at Alericks back. They could do this, he was sure.
"Hrm." Draven thought for a moment about Alericks question. "If we both turn...we could take a break, I suppose. I don't know. Hopefully it won't happen, though. I mean, I can drag my pack...I would just look like an idiot and be slow about it." It was just light enough to fly with, but he wouldn't have been able to get very far. Dragging it would be awkward, for sure. "I suppose we can tackle that issue if it happens." He hoped it wouldn't.

This was nice! Thanks to Yaya Junko was getting a bit more comfortable with physical contact, especially of the snuggly kind. Junko was not raised in a very affectionate family, so she was quickly learning she liked snuggling and hugging. She even moved closer to Sin, Gabrian and Alcie to steal their body hea--to stay close to her friends. But suddenly another drunk tree was approaching them, this time apparently targeting their ride. Gah! Were all trees in Christmas Town drunk?!
She clung to Quarria as tightly as she could manage, watching with wide eyes as she killed it with one bite. "Wow! You're amazing! Way to go, Quarria~!" She cheered, patting the amphitere affectionately.

Quarria twisted her neck to see if everyone was alright. "I'm sorry if any of you were bumped from my battle. Did I remember everyone?" She asked, curious and worried as she looked to each of her new friends. (She hadn't even noticed that she was starting to speak like her species normally did; Calculating and polite.) In response to the eariler comments she'd been getting on her wings, and in general, she began to speak. "It's a pleasure to meet you too, Faint and Junko. I hope I can help out 'team' of sorts on this trip, and I hope I can help provide warmth, as you all are for me." As Junko congratulated her, she smiled with a long blink at the girl. "Thank you. I'm happy I could rid our journey of such a odd creature. In truth, I've never actually battled something before like that." She said with a smile before looking at Gabrian and his carriers. If dragons could blush, she probably would have. "Oh, thank you so much, Gabrian. Both of us need body warmth, correct? It seems like the best set-up for everyone's benefit. And your own form is quite nice, and I don't think I've ever seen such fins on a serpent before. Are you a sea serpent?" She asked, then turning her attention to Alcie said. "Thank you, too. They're not just for show; I can fly with them too.." She trailed off for a second, wondering if she would be able to fly with so many on her back. It was certainly possible (she thought), and she was already making better time then if they were all on foot, so to speak. Then, she noticed the teal-eyed boy she'd seen on the train eariler out of the corner of her eye. "Would you like a ride too?" She asked, gesturing toward her back or tail. (She probably could have put the train out of business like this, in retrospect.)
