Show Me How To Lie....
Chuckling quietly at her statement, he simply shook his head. "Oh, woe is me. Doomed to eat frozen pizza forever." he complained, kissing her back. Well, someone was certainly affectionate this morning. Not that he minded, of course. It was kind of nice, actually, being on the receiving end of such. He really wasn't the bad boy sort, he was just kind of a jerk on occasion. And not even the bad sort of jerk, just the teasing sort of jerk. He didn't mean anything by his teasing, he just wasn't the overly sweet or flirty type like his brothers were.

Sky moved away and smiled with a little giggling in there. "You're doomed to frozen pizza with me." She pointed out. She couldn't cook so that was out. "You'll just have a few more hamburgers and salads with me." She added. At least all wasn't hopeless.

Show Me How To Lie....
It seemed that he would be doomed to frozen pizza forever, no matter what sort of things happened between them. Still, he would much rather have company than be alone in his frozen dinners forever. "Ah, hamburgers. Like a vacation for my taste buds." he spoke of them fondly, as if looking forward to it. He wasn't all that fond of salads, but he would eat them without complaint. After all, it wasn't something that had been frozen at one point. He didn't live totally off of frozen meals, but this was mostly due to the school cafeteria.

Sky nodded in agreement. "Hamburgers can be so heavenly. You put on the right cheese, good beef, a little bit of the normal stuff, come vegis and it's so good." Sky may as well have been drooling the look on her face said it all that she loved the meaty delight.

Nearly laughing at the way she spoke of hamburgers so fondly, he made a mental note that hamburgers were always a good idea. He wasn't very picky about what was on his hamburgers, he had gone far too long without decent food in the past to be picky, but what she was describing certainly sounded delicious. "We just ate. It's too soon to make me hungry again." he complained, though his expression was far from unhappy or displeased.

Sky smiled and gave Adney a wink. "Well I know what I'll tell dad to make when you meet them. We." She did a little cute French accent with the last word. Her father was French and so she was good with three different languages when it came to saying them and having the accent with it.

At the mention of a father, he paused. He hadn't thought about meeting her parents. Maybe this was due to the fact that he didn't quite have those, but he didn't seem too nervous at the thought. He could handle parents, couldn't he? "When will I be meeting them? Your parents?" he asked, wanting to know just how prepared he should be at this point. Admittedly, he was slightly nervous about meeting her parents. He had never told her what had happened to his family, and what if she asked to meet his parents? What was he supposed to do, fly her to New York and show her their graves? No, that would be absurd. He would simply allow the subject to stay in the dark until she asked.

Sky never really thought about when Adney would meet her parents. Well not a date date. She knew that he'd have to meet them sooner or later. She thought up the best answer. "When I have to have my dad's hamburgers or I'll die." The woman answered. "Never really thought of when. May be within the first week or maybe it'll be in two months." She added.

Nodding to accept this answer, he supposed that was a reasonable decision. He didn't mind if Sky wanted to put off his meeting her parents, he wasn't exactly the sort of guy one wanted to bring home, but two months was hardly putting it off. It would be best to test the waters, see how it went for a while, before they made a move like meeting her parents. "That's fine. Whenever is good." he responded, making it solely her choice. He didn't want to push her.

Sky smiled at him. She was happy that he understood what she was saying and thinking. She didn't want to rush anything. It wasn't like she was still in high school and introducing her teacher-boyfriend to her father because she was under their care. "Lets let things come naturally and explore how we feel together. No rushing anything." She told him.

Agreeing with this statement, he gave a nod to show that he understood. "I think that would be best." he agreed, relaxing in his chair. He seemed more relaxed now that that was sorted out, pushing the idea of parents from his mind for now. "With that settled, what would you like to do until you have to leave for work?" he questioned, feeling better about their relationship now. He tended to rebel when people attempted to force things on him, and he certainly wasn't ready to just rush into the relationship. It would be good for them to let it grow naturally, as forcing things would surely end poorly.

Sky thought of something that they could do. There were so many things they could do. They went dancing last night so that was out, nothing much because she couldn't think of anything. "I don't know. What do you think that we should do? I guess go for a walk." The woman answered. She was pretty happy with her life right now after getting five years worth of stress off her chest.

Leaving the decision up to her, the redhead waits patiently for the decision to be made. He shrugged at her question, as he would have suggested something by now if he had had any ideas. A walk sounded nice, though there were plenty of places to partake in such an activity. "A walk sounds nice. Where would you prefer?" glancing down at his attire, he notices for the first time that morning that he was not wearing a shirt and the scars on his chest were fully visible. Well, if they hadn't disturbed Sky yet, he assumed it wasn't a big deal.

Sky pretty much stuck to her dorm most of the time that she had been at Reeds and she didn't have a swimsuit with her. She had to think for a moment about what they could do. "How about the garden. Next time when I have my swimsuit we can go to the beach." The woman answered to Adney. That could be their next date.

The garden sounded like a good place for a walk, and he didn't believe he had ever been there. "Sounds good. But unless you want to go in pajamas, I do believe I'd like to put some actual clothes on." he chuckled quietly, not exactly feeling like walking about campus wearing only boxers and flannel pants. It would certainly be an odd sight, and he didn't quite find it to be warm enough to walk around without at least a shirt on. Sure, Cam or Pyry would be alright, but Adney didn't have any sort of fancy ability that involved an extra tolerance for temperature. No, Adney was the normal one. He needed clothes.
