(That's..... messed up. what if you were to hold onto an opponent and do like 10 damage each turn? 'shudders')

"Flare! Come on! Get out of there, you are stronger than that, I know it!" Joseph shouted from the distance. He started to run towards the struggle.
"We will not give up!"
[I think it's time you met your new master, snake.] with that remark, Flare spun again, just as quickly, as Joseph pulled the last pokeball out, and threw it at the ekan's body, to free Flare, and catch it once and for all.

It was true that he was reaching the end ...as Atsuma would see more and more grass as he walked. The sands were reaching it's end, and before him he could see it before he ever touch the lands were three different directions. Three different paths that he had an chance of actually deciding upon, but only if he could avoid any more encounters.

Bishop would come upon a Whismur .....as the pokemon froze at the sight of them. There was actually a slight tremble in it, and the Cubone looked backwards at Bishop to see what type of a lead he would take. If he left her alone, she would continue to lead, and would tell the pokemon to go on her way, but if he went after that pokemon ...she would leave.
She didn't want to help someone whom would attack such a timid pokemon. Thus, she waited to see what Bishop would decide upon.

[That would mean that the original damage ....without being divided by 5 is 50. So, I think it's pretty agreeable.]
It would work this time, the pokeball ...would hit ....as the Ekans prepared another retort. He would miss that flick of the hand, that throw as the pokeball hit against the back of his head. His maw would open wide as he would disappear in a flash of red light.
The pokeball lands in the sands as it rocks once, twice, and one more hard time before going still.
Joseph had captured a Ekans.

Bishop looked at the timid pokemon, shaking in fear. The heat was too much to fight out here anymore. He smiled alittle and motioned the pokemon to leave to the right. He wanted to get to the tree and into the shade as fast as he could.

Bishop smiled as he walked past the small timid pokemon and continued towards the trees. He would run if his leg didn't hurt from the Ekans bite from earlier.

Joseph let out a huge sigh, as things could have gotten worse. Flare fell back to sit down, and ended up laying down. Joseph picked up the pokeball. "Well, that is one task complete..... I don't know if I wanna take this thing out right now..." Flare would almost agree, but now, Ekans would be part of the team. "Flare.... let's get you back inside, I can't let you get hurt anymore..." Flare still laid back, and stuck a thumb claw upwards, for a thumbs up sign. Joseph chuckled a little, and returned Flare to his pokeball. He sighed yet again, and looked through the horizon. It still seemed far away. "How the heck am I gonna get through this...." The only way to find out, was to start walking again, and Joseph did just that.

The Cubone nods and repeated the instructions as the Whismur left to her own devices left in a hurry. She practically ran away ....as they would continue onwards ...as the grasses seemed to stretch in big patches, and a path came into view that split into three.
The Cubone had never left the desert ...as sitting upon the path was a small Vulpix female. She seemed to be trying to decide what best to do when she heard them both, and turned with a quick movement of her tails.
Her head down, and growl stirring in her chest. She wasn't of the frame of mind to run away ...as she drove her paws into the earth, and made it clear that she wanted them to leave.
The Cubone would speak to her, but she shakes her head and continues to growl at Bishop. She wasn't to be moved ...as the Cubone shrugged her shoulders and moved away from him ...the choice of how to handle this pokemon was now in his hands.

[actually, this would be the right stats, because, you didn't take damage during that fight other than the first wrap. You didn't attack, and you can throw as many pokeballs as you have ....without the phase changing. That meant, he didn't take any more damage than the initial wrap]

Though Joseph wouldn't make it far. A cubone male in the distance saw their moment of weakness, and he figured it was best to take advantage of it ...as he rushed towards the boy after he had recalled the Charmeleon away. The thought of battle was on his mind.

Bishop saw the Vulpix then smiled when the Cubone talked to her. He sighed when the Vulpix refused to move. "You have to do this the hard way" Bishop said the patted Trooper's head "You know what to do Trooper"

The pokemon straighten up ...as her tails all seemed to dance behind her. Her feet were pulled together, and she gave a much more dignified look at the Bagon ...as her ears seemed to settled with an up and down motion that was a dismissive flick.
"Vulpix ..Vul."
She actually declares sharply to him.

It was the words that the Vulpix had said ....as she ready herself for battle and chewed on the fur of her chest lightly. Gathering the materials for embers, she would spew them out at him as she aimed to literally give him a hot foot.

Bagon saw the embers leave her mouth and jumped off to the side, trying to dodge the firey attack.

The Vulpix growled at him ....as she saw her embers miss. The heat of the move burning the sands and scorching some of the small grasses that grew there as her tails fanned and she lean forwards with her head down. She was looking for that first moment of movement, so she could avoid whatever attack he might have in mind.

Trooper growled at the Vulpix. He stamped his feet then started to spin. Soon he was just a spinning blur and began to spin towards the Vulpix, his claws out and trying to hit the Vulpix with a Twister attack.
