Instead Maru basically went "oh darn" and accepted a lynchy fate, which makes me think that's what she may want, hence Jester.
I'm not saying we shouldn't take action, I'm saying we should be careful. Instead of immediately lynching and risking an earth shattering kaboom, we should ask the seer to check her out first, hope said seer has someone s/he trusts enough to share with, and then act from there.

I'm not going to sit here and allow myself to be picked off in the name of prolonging our survival, just because we can't use our only weapon with any certainty OR effectiveness.
Besides, if she was, why would she accuse me of it? Wouldn't have even crossed her mind that I could be the jester if she was the jester.
But if you're so against it, why don't we lynch you in her place? I mean, you can't be the jester if you think she's the jester, but you COULD be Mafia and trying to save her a**.

Personally I'd rather try to win a futile match than to just blow everything to hell and everyone lose, but that's my personal view which is neither here nor there.
There's also a possible chance that she knew that leading a lynch against yu, who turned out to be a town, that the rest of the town would retaliated against her and lynch her. If she was the Jester, this would be her goal.
I'm not advocating or defending anybody here. I'm just stressing caution.

But she didn't lead a lynch against me. She only tried to point out that I was trying to lead a lynch on myself to win. And even if she had placed a vote on me, she'd have had no way of knowing that I was a townie; I could be Santa for all she knows and pulling a self-lynch because it wouldn't work anyway.
