Down again. Too many bodies still in the ring, too may obstacles. Too much to dodge. Teeth barred and fists clenched, the Dust Devil ran to a corner and climbed. She wasn't giving up! She would either win or get fully KO'd as was proper!

Ok so, if the fact that there were only 11 of them left now wasn't enough, there was a new burst of power that... quite literally was causing things to fall from the ceiling.

So now not only were they dodging flying bodies, they were also dodging each other... trying to beat the hell out of Don Diablos (whom she knew the ceiling was SOMETHING with his crystal), and trying not to get smooshed under the ceiling.

Lady Frost was having a BLAST. If she was going down now, she was going to be flung out TRYING and not KO'd by the roof.

At least it wasn't on fire!

There was a moment somewhere in between the staggering pulse of energy from The Don and the time where the ******** ceiling started to crash down on them that Master Awesome shot the audience a dirty look. Oh Zac, if you were out there and saw that look...Master Awesome was going to have some words with you over convincing him to do this! ARGH.

Thankfully the amount of people left was low and getting lower. This left a lot of room to maneuver and avoid death by ceiling. On top of that, it seemed like things were finally affecting the enraged wrestler. Maybe, just maybe, someone in this mess of inexperienced wrestlers had a chance of taking out The Don.

Or maybe they'd all be crushed by the goddamn ceiling.

The sheer force of the energy that The Don managed to crackle around him was enough to make the hairs on the back of the Pineapple Avenger's neck stand on end, and ultimately make him let go of the pole he had been clinging to like a koala. He fall backwards with a yelp, freeing himself from the blue void his eyesight had been lost in and back into the chaos of the ring. It was an odd sensation, like some of the floor was missing beneath him and just as much noise as before.

The green haired 'wrestler' blinked and looked up, "dude! I can see!" He exclaimed with relief, momentarily dazzled by the shiny lights above him .... that were getting .... closer. "Oh crap!" He yelled, reflexively covering himself as best he could as a mass amount of spackle, wires, broken light bulbs and pieces of metal came raining down.

"Ow. Ow... oooow!" The Pineapple Avenger complained, that was his head, so totally his head that got hit! There was so going to be a welt, he grunted, pulling himself out of the heap that had almost buried him and continued to fall around him and the others still in the ring - weren't there a lot more shiny people around? Either way, his dazed mind was rationalizing, his welts were all the bug guys fault! The Pineapple Avenger glared - though it could hardly be taken seriously with how out of it he looked - picked up a few pieces of debris and began to chuck it at The Don ..... and since his aim was horrible, at anyone else in the path of his poor throws.

At last, the attacks seemed to be having an affect. Deciding to stick with what worked, Silent Night darted in to give another kick to Don Diablos’s knees. The crystal was clearly giving him a boost, letting him shake off attacks, but once the crystal was hers… well, she suspected he’d be in a world of pain.

DONK!

Did he hit somebody? The Dread Zombie Pirate Captain Davy Jones couldn't see, but he did manage to hear the sloosh of liquid as it bounced off of someone. Maybe someone would grab it and hoard it? Or drink it. The Dread Zombie Pirate Captain Davy Jones wondered if he could find it online later, or if he could get away with auctioning off another one and claim it was the real thing.

At least, that's what the Dread Zombie Pirate Captain Davy Jones would have been thinking if he had time to think. Instead, he was just like the rest of those still in the ring: charge forward and bum rush the Don.

The Wild West wasn't so lucky about the whole "dodging falling objects" thing as his other competitors. As soon as the ceiling had started to crumble his eyes had been fixed on it instead of the other wrestlers: as intimidating a foe as Don Diablos was, what was going on high above them was much more dangerous. One moment of distraction could easily lead to a broken neck or worse.

It was a good thing he had changed his focus, too. If he hadn't, he wouldn't have noticed the large stage light plummeting from the crumbling plaster. In order to dodge it, he did a pretty impressive backflip maneuver -- unfortunately, said backflip took him out of the ring.

"Ow, s**t!"

And he wasn't very good at sticking his landings.

It used to be a wrestling ring. Now it looked more like a post-apocalyptic warzone.

The rumbling had finally ceased, and the thick cloud of dust that had been forming over the ring had finally settled. Unfortunately, there wasn't much of anything for dust to settle on anymore besides more dust and pieces of debris of varying size. The stage of the whole battle was barely holding together now, and there were barely any competitors left. Last to fall out of the ring was poor, devoted Dust Devil, her grip around her idol's waist slipping until she tumbled down and out.

But the strangest thing of all was the utter lack of noise besides the grunts of effort from the last four challengers as they struggled their way back up. Don Diablos was sprawled half over the edge of the ring, battered beyond recognition -- and somehow, surprisingly -- out cold.

All the beatings he had sustained had finally taken their toll on him. Along with this, his waist was now bare of the gaudy belt that had previously been wrapped around it. All the hands reaching for it had managed to worry it loose and tear it off of him and now it was lying in the middle of the ring, ready for someone to claim it.

It was as simple as being fast enough to grab it first.
