He gave her a slightly horrified look "I'd be a horrible father.."

"I'm sure that's not true!"  

[Jezbel]

He gave her a semi-glare "I'm highly anti-social with no patience for anything cuddly... or... small..er. I can barely care for myself let alone care for a baby!"  

[divena]

"I hear everything changes when you see your own children pop out of the basket."  

[Jezbel]

He rolled his eyes "I think thats more for mothers. Anyway I don't have to worry about children so its a moot subject."  

[divena]

"You don't want children, then?"  

[Jezbel]

He shrugged "I never really considered myself father material.. nor gave kids much thought"  

[divena]

"Well, it's a moot point since you don't have a lady friend to have children with."  

[Jezbel]

He almost choked, holding back laughter and nodded "This is true.." and after a pause "I can't believe you just used the term 'lady friend'"  

[divena]

She managed not to grin at him the way she wanted to. She was unreasonably pleased with herself for having amused him. "Why not?"  

[Jezbel]

He shook his head "It just seems an odd term to hear from you."  

[divena]

"Just from me or at all?" she asked curiously, glad that she had at least gotten him talking.  

[Jezbel]

"Right now.. from you, though I'm sure it would sound odd from others as well."  

[divena]

"We could always try to find more people to find out."  

[Jezbel]

He shook his head "I doubt it would have the same effect"
