Suggestions:
-Cat colors: Like tiger striped, calico, tabby, leopard, etc smile
-Tropical fish: I know there are a LOT of vibrant and awesome colors out there like clown fish <3
-Flowers: There are some really pretty ones out there smile

~Masqurade/ballroom: You could have all the familiars wear masks. Or things that would be found in a ballroom. Ie; a punch bowl familiar could be a maroon color and maybe some silver on it. Or a chandilere themed to go with it.
~crayola crayons: Just like their were those M&M soquili, you can model them after crayons ^^.
~Food: Have one that looks like sushi, or lasagna x3. Any kind of food ^^. Mac and cheese<3.
~Story Time: Have themes that resemble items from story time ^^. A bean stalk familiar. A familiar themed after a castle. Maybe one with long flowy hair. Or one who looks part pumpkin and part silver carridge? Maybe a queen and king inspired one. Or ones themed after a wizard, dwarf, fairy, dragon, or witch. A knight.

One of my perennial favorites:
Sea slugs! (there are so many of them, my gawd)
And another:
Gemstones and/or just pretty rocks/fossils (could do some unusual stuff like pyrite, galena, petrified wood, flint... etc.)
Fruit/Berry patterns (strawberry, dragonfruit, mango... :3)
