Hair, crystal, minor technical differences. Only, that that voice sounded oddly familiar, like he could just place it at the tip of his tongue. Sadly, the fist that connected with him he could all but TOO clearly taste, knocking the poor Negaverser thankfully out of the blinding radius.
He blinked, eyes watering, was that Variscite who had just clobbered him a good one? Reeling backwards, he was a little surprised to step on not-so-solid grounding. With a yelp he wnt sliding, attempting to grab the closest thing to him for support, a half-turned table. The crystal was just over there sparkling in something. It was so close!... if you discounted the upturned chaos left and right.
Attempting to use the table as a buffer, he tried his best to slide towards the target.

s**t, why was it dark? Gunn's feeling of triumph over her fire vanished as first she was consumed by darkness and then slipped onto her a**. s**t, s**t, s**t, s**t--at least it wasn't quiet--and she got up enough to slide out of the range of the darkness, into the light and sound of the ballroom. This was enough to spot a man on a cell phone, and then--
The arresting officer. s**t! s**t! He'd see her and know she did it!
...But at the same time, he could die. So she dashed towards him, her head down, and shoved him firmly away. "Hey, stay out, this is no place for civilians," she said, tossing her red-orange curls before turning on her heel and promptly skidding across the floor. Hadn't she seen the Crystal in a wig somewhere?...

Vivianite had seen the crystal go flying and quickly dismissed her attack by taking two steps forward. Or trying to take two steps forward; her heels were not really suited to walking on anything less than sure footing, as a trip down a roof should have taught her. Thus it was that instead of heading after the crystal, Vivianite was heading towards the floor.
She did retain enough presence of mind to try and control her fall, hopefully landing on some stupid senshi (oh please, the one who'd tried to set everything on fire) instead of just her a**.

Bellatrix gave a snarling curse. She almost had it Damn it! She turned to Europa and said in perhaps the most authoritative voice the senshi had ever used, "All we need to do right now is get that crystal. The Negaverse can not have it. It's and order from the Princess." Or something whom Bellatrix had assumed to be the princess. The place was so chaotic, but it seemed Bell's tunnel-vision flaw was in full gear. Now, which way had that crystal gone? Another curse followed. It was then that a youma tried to attack Bellatrix and Europa. Bellatrix hopped up and used the Youma like a trampoline, jumping into the air to get a better view of the place, scanning for the crystal. It had hit the floor, that much she knew. She was now looking to see where the others would go, if they had seen just where the crystal had gone. Her mission then would be to get there before they did....

The lights turned dark and Sinon cursed. Great, just great. She squinted her eyes, blindly holding her arms out as she clunked through the darkness while her vision began to slowly adjust to the sudden lack of light. The redheaded senshi felt incredibly tempted to cry out “marco”—maybe someone would actually respond—but ended up bumping into a mumbling someone instead.
“Woah, sorry—Wait. Familiar voice is familiar. Who are you?” Peering through the dark she managed to place her hands on the outlines of what appeared to be his shoulders.
Until she felt a sudden chill. Sinon shuddered, immediately hugging herself in a vain attempt to warm her body up. “Dude, who turned the AC on?”
She looked across the room and noticed that the other half of the place was on fire. Shoot. Sinon would prefer to be on that side instead.

Ugh, everything was chaos. The seasons were changing rampantly in the ballroom. Part of it was on fire, the other part was either snowing or hailing or both. And like the pridelands, one section was just not included because the sun didn't touch there. It was like the goddamn batman had gone supernova with a tank of joker laughing gas, and what remained was this party. It was all sorts of weird movie comparisons that probably didn't make sense.
Dodging people left and right, Perseus had the fortune of not being on fire or under attack by anything at that particular moment. She was startled by the gunshots, but they did little to stop her forward motion. The crystal had shaken out of the candelabra, and she just barely saw it skid across the floor before it was all up in someone's hideous forgotten wig. The caped sailor jumped up on a table and made a flying leap for the object on the ground, attempting to get it and hold on, people around her be damned.

Euterpe had honestly thought he got the crystal-- for the briefest of moments, a power surge had gone through him like nothing else. but that could have been mistaken for the rush of eagerness ad amazement when he thought he got the crystal.
Unfortunately, this was going to be a never-ending game of tag where the crystal always seemed to run somewhere like it had legs. (For all Euterpe knew, it did.)
He slipped forward, head falling face flat on the ice coating of the ground. his cheek hurt tremendously, hand rubbing his cheek as he slowly got up with a grimace. Ice was not the best landing-- was that the crystal under the wig? Racing forth, Euterpe found out that his boots lacked the grip necessarily to run adeptly on this floor-- he slid toward it, like skating. But who knew what obstacle would be in his path?

This was the literal definition of a ********. One giant ******** least he had his fun! Or he -thought- he had, but in the next instant (somewhere in that time the room had caught on ******** fire, turned dark and...jesus christ what else could happen?!) he found himself sprawling on the floor thanks to Uranophane catapulting off his head. "God ******** DAMNIT get back here!" He scrambled back to his feet, intent on going after Uranophane but quickly finding himself distracted by everything else (he heard gunshots, he KNOW he did!). Senshi and Negaversers were EVERYWHERE, some he recognized, most he did not. He really needed to get out more.
...If Lyra was here he'd ******** kill her -and- get his hands on that crystal. That'd be a pretty good ending to this night.
The crystal was flying again, and just a she headed towards it he found it -very- hard to move. Well, actually no it was easy to MOVE, it just wasn't easy to move in a controlled direction. Within seconds he found himself careening into someone else (who quickly got a punch to the face as he scrambled away, whoever the hell they were), before continuing his path towards the crystal.
Screw this, the ground was way too hard to walk on. Acting quckly, Scheelite threw himself back to the ground intent on sliding after the crystal on his belly like a penguin. It'd work. It -had- to.

Saiph was Not Happy. Slipping and sliding across an iced floor, trying to get to some magical rock before the bad guys was definitely not her idea of a good time. And it was damned ******** hard to aim properly if she couldnt' stay on her feet.
After a moment, she managed to find a tiny spot of calm and glanced around wildly. She saw a strange senshi who seemed to be helping the enemy. The shock froze her for half a breath. There was a SENSHI helping the Negaverse! Oh, she knew it was possible in theory, but to see it... She didn't want to kill a senshi, but she didn't want a senshi hurting or killing her or her friends either. Gritting her teeth, she took aim at the red-haired senshi and whispered, "Primal Bite!", unleashing biting and slashing enrgy. It wouldn't kill the girl. But it might take her out of the equation long enough to help....

Azzo watched everything with his eyes widened, trying to see in the darkness, he couldn't see a damned thing. All this was starting to get NUTS. He grabbed out his ipod and turned it up so he could hear it and turned on "Great balls of fire" Since part of the ballroom seemed to be on fire it seemed the right time to play Jerry Lee Lewis.
He was trying to use the black like from the Ipod to see what was around him. Hoping he hadn't ended up with Youma breathing down his neck, besides his boots weren't for snow. He knew he should've worn those snow boots with the fur tops, even if it did look girly.
Azzo was looking for anyone that was a senshi that wasn't chasing a rabbit like a greyhound. He couldn't keep all the youma from eating him alive or getting to Others, he started looking for other humans too. Those civilians had to get out before they had their starseed yanked out.

Now THIS looked like her kind of party, minus the people. Why hadn't they invented lazars... or hell even cannons ontop of cars? Two birds, one stone, if she had remote control devices too. Then again some sort of cyclops eyes would have done the trick too, remove glasses ALL problems go away!
Alas, she did not, so she was going to have to suck it up and brave the masses of flailing limbs to try and get that crystal for her queen.

Spinel had been blindsided by the fire and then the sudden darkness; he didn't like either thing, and had hunkered down to enjoy the thought that one, Vivianite was here, and two, she was well enough to attack people. He hadn't expected her to crash down on top of him from the sheet of slick ice, but he also didn't exactly mind. He was a guy, after all, and she was an attractive girl.
"Hey, Vivi," he said, grinning at her; "Your darkness was pretty useful." But he had to find the Crystal--"Have you seen it? It's around here somewhere, isn't it?"
There--a reddish glint! He got up, legs tense to prevent slippage, and then he held out his hands to help the younger corrupted senshi up. No room for chivalry on the battlefield--but if worst came to worst, he could put some distance between them and get himself ten seconds of breathing room.

-Her search for crystal and princess were cut short as suddenly and inexplicably everything was dark. Had she suddenly been blinded!? The idea was nixed as the sound of stumbling and the pressure of another bumping into her let her know that others were having the same problem.
Whipping her arms out wildly, she smacked someone, and received a cool kick in the shin herself. Tumbling to the floor she began to crawl. Searching, cursing in angry Portuguese, escaping, sliding, trying to figure out the hell was going on. These were all verbs being attempted by the green haired senshi.-

Proustite was a fledgling agent; new to this dark world of hating senshi skirts and star-seed stealing. Jack was no stranger to mischief and scrapping, but his civilian self was adjusting still to the seriousness of the Negaverse. There wasn’t any time for fooling around, when you were one of Queen Beryl’s men.
This sucked a little bit, when you lived for fooling around. But Jack was coping, and Proustite was all the better for it.
He stood amidst the flame and the ice that had overwhelmed the ballroom, brown eyes glinting, and made a mad dash for the crystal. Proustite raced in the direction that he had seen it fall, hands outstretched, scrambling madly—
This was how Proustite answered his Queen’s call.

"GODDAMMIT STOP USING ******** POWERS THAT ******** WITH EVERYONE."
Nemesis was frustrated as hell. It was cold, and dark, and neither of these things made it easy for her to track down a crystal. What was worse that half of the attacks did not target anyone in particular. It was a mess, a downright mess, and she was sure someone like Castor would 'accidentally' hit her with their attack. She blindly groped into the darkness until it abated, and only then could she pull herself together enough to go after her target.
It would have been easier if everyone was smart, but that was too much to expect from Negaversers and senshi alike. Crystal... crystal, ah, there it was! She was scrambling from her knees to try and grab the crystal.
