Cloud watched Daemon pull off his jumper in awe, frozen to the spot as she took in his elegant scruffiness. She twirled her electric hair in her fingers and coughed nervously. Looking up, she noticed him winking at Aludra, and quickly turned red in the face.
Erm...Professor said that we're just reading now...
Cloud dropped into a nearby desk, and took out her book, turning to the chapter on Priori Incantatem. She scratched at the scar under her eye and used all her willpower to focus on nothing but the chapter.

After finishing the chapter, Cloud pulled out a quill and ink, and began writing down her summary.

Priori Incantatem
Priori Incantatem is known as the Reverse-Spell Effect. When two wands share the same source of the core and are forced to do battle against each other, Priori Incantatem is the result. This occurs when the two owners of the wands simultaneously cast their spells. Both wands will be linked to a golden thread of energy, and seems to create a large dome around the two witches or wizards, that none other can penetrate. The two wand holders compete in a battle of wills, forcing small rings of light into each other's wands. The wands vibrate, and become very difficult to handle. The losing wand of this battle of wills is forced to display, in a ghostly form, all the spells the wand has performed - from the most recent to the first spell. If any of the spells are killing curses, the wand will produce ghostly forms of the person that those curses have killed. The spell is similar to to Prior Incantato, which causes the targeted wand to reveal the spells it previously cast in reverse order.

Aludra Yvette...

Aludra couldnt help but stare as he took off his jumper, I mean what woman could? She could have swore he saw a glimpse of skin when Daemon's shirt untucked. She gulped when Daemon winked at her... at least the thought he winked at her. Aludra looked around nervously and saw there was no one else around her that he could possibly wink at. 'Kenneth, Kenneth, Kenneth, Kenneth...' she repeated over and over in her mind, fumbling around with her bag to try to find something to occupy herself with.

Grinned, wandering over towards Cloud, wrapping his jumper around his waist, "Of cause we are." He chuckled, settling into a seat next to her. He read through the book slowly, then smirked. "Easy."

Priori Incantatem is called "the reverse-spell effect." It can occur when two wands which share the same source for their cores are forced to compete in combat. It can also be induced by analytical spells, like an extension of the Prior Incantato spell.

During a wand duel using wands whose cores are the same material from the same source, a simultaneous spell-casting by both parties will trigger an effect where both wands are linked through a golden thread of energy. This energy also seems to create a dome of some sort around the two duelists that others are unable to penetrate. In the case of wands with Phoenix feather cores, a sound like Phoenix song is heard. The two wand holders then compete in a battle of wills, in which the loser's wand is forced to display in ghostly form the spells which had been cast by said wand, in order of most recent to least recent. If any of those spells are Killing Curses, the victims will appear in ghost-like form, capable of holding a conversation with nearby living beings.

The effect is similar to the spell Prior Incantato, which causes the targeted wand to reveal the spells it previously cast in reverse order.

Watching Daemon wink at Aludra all points I gave him earlier where gone. The urge to hex him was growing stronger and stronger. I gave a loud cough and said,"Daemon how about you check yourself."Glaring at him I made sure that he would not misinterpret my meaning.

Heart shakes her first-year head with a small smile. Reminding herself that she was here to learn, and not to watch the older students with amusement, the girl flips through her book to read the assigned chapter.

She takes a quill from her satchel. Dipping it into her well of ink, she begins writing the summary on Priori Incantatem.

Aludra Yvette...

Aludra blushed even more when she heard Kenneth cough. She got up and went over to him, tugging on his shirt and tried to lure him back to the desks. "Come and sit down with me." she smiled.

Heart of Ravenclaw

Priori Incantatem

The effect of Priori Incantatem, or the Reverse-Spell Effect, occurs
when the dueling wands have the same type of core, which came
from the same source (this event rarely happens). The wands will
not function against each other, but instead, it will become a battle
of the wielders' wills. The loser's wand will cast a series of shadows
or ghosts, showing the wand's past spells it had casted, in reverse
order. The cause of this is unknown.

With Aludra tugging on my shirt I followed her back to our desk and sat down. What was wrong with all the Slytherin boys, they were either sexist pigs or pureblood bigots, it’s like they channel the Slytherin’s of old. The Slytherin girls are they only ones really putting effort into showing that just because you’re in Slytherin doesn’t mean you have to act like a toe rag.”You know the guys of your house should learn to take a page from the ladies, you girls are putting more effort into mending inter-house relations that the guys are.”

Aludra Yvette...

Aludra nodded. The Slytherin boys did seem to fit the bill of a typical Slytherin. The girls were just normal people... or at least some of the girls did. "I know, but you dont need any stress right now darling. Just relax." She rubbed on his shoulders and smiled.

As boredom consumed Meiko, she watches other students while doodling on her scroll. She spotted the new Slytherin, winking at Aludra in the corner of her eye and thought. "Hmm... he looks really attractive, but I bet he's a snob or he maybe a playboy of some sort."

Aludra Yvette...

"Exactly." Aludra smirked. She leaned forward and kissed him on the cheek. "You should know by now no man can compete with you."

Heart begins drawing something that looks quite strange. After a few minutes, the outline of a bell forms on her parchment, waiting. The girl sketches details and shading onto her drawing:

Smirking, Daemon replied to the long cough "I did nothing wrong, whoever you are. It is not my fault if I wink in greeting. Perhaps I find coughing as offensive as you find winking? I knew Gryffindor would be unwilling to mend relations between our houses." He sniffed, then checked over his work.
