"Darkness" the two shadows hissed in unison before jumping back behind the tree to disappear within the shadows. Now if they made an attack Darion wouldn't be able to see them coming in time.

Darion grinned.He jabbed the area around him and flames shoot out towards the trees and light them on fire. The area would become brighter as Darion stood in the same spot as he was before, His trap still waiting for the shadows."It's a bummer...I wish you wouldn't have fought with me...I would rather have something like you as an ally."

Darion stayed and waited for the shadow to come back.He could already tell this shadow wouldn't just leave him be.Darion thought about it, Maybe this shadow was what he was looking for.Maybe it's what he needed.Darion stood waiting for the shadow

It didn't matter how long his prey might wait. The shadow wasn't so dumb that it would expose itself due to impatience. No, this monster could simply wait forever for the right moment to strike, driving his prey mad with fear and anxiety before finally ending its life. Darion was in its forest now, and he would not escape.

Darion tapped his foot impatiently.This rage would being to build up, but Darion was smarter then that he needed something to occupy himself.Darion picked up a stick and began drawing the dirt."You know I'm not stupid either...I know your out their...Again I would rather have you as an ally other then and enemy...Maybe we could negotiate..." Darion said as he stopped drawing and began twirling the stick between his fingers.Darion knew how to handle his anger but once his distractions would run out his rage would be even worse but Darion had many anger relief tactics so The shadow would just have to wait.

Again there was no reply. Without being able to sense the shadow at all it would seem like Darion was just talking to himself.

Darion looked around."Oh, come on...I can tell you there...I mean your strong,smart and you have some pretty cool abilities...Your not one to give up so easy...And neither am I!"Darion clenched the stick and it would catch up in flames and turn to ash within seconds."Think about it! with the two of us together as one, you and me would be strong enough to take down a demon of Sin, Like Lust or Pride.You and me Shadow.We should work together!I'm sure you and me could think of a reasonable agreement."Darion said as he grinned.

Darion sighed and sat down ."I'm not one to go back on my word!Come on latch on!I'll remind myself of everything i hate and why and you get a taste of what you will get!"Darion said as he closed his eyes and began to growl in anger.He began to remember why he left the Spire for some time off, The peole there annoyed him,He wanted them to die.Katja the most.Darion began to heat up and suddenly he let lose a angered roar.

Darion could shout all he wanted, but it wouldn't change anything. The shadow wouldn't listen to prey. Why follow what he says when he could reap the same anger at a time of its choosing? The shadow would have Darion's power yet. All he needed was patience.

Darion groaned as he stood up and calmed himself down."Well then, If your not gonna come out and talk with me...I guess I'll just leave..."Darion said as he began to walk towards the exit of the forest. Darion wondered if the Shadow would let a good source of food leave him.

Darion had barely left the light before a dark claw shot out of a nearby shadow, practically invisible in the total dark of the forest, and aimed to smack Darion through an entire tree with its deadly force.
