Maiara approached the the steaming water, looking at it curiously before bending down and sniffing it. Eventually she stuck her finger in the very warm waterand her tongue before withdrawing quickly with a look of disgust on her face. Sitting back up in her usual tribal garb, she waited for fox man to show up. She wasn't sure what she would do if he didn't show up; the spirit warrior was already tired of tracking him down. There was no thrill in hunting him down.
She had seen his name on a paper for a 'date', whatever that was. She had heard other humans and people use that word, she had never quite figured it out, something to do with romance. Maiara put her name as well as a random destination she heard two students speak of moments before, figuring it would be a meeting, possibly maybe a fight, but she couldn't help but feel nervous for some reason. Playing with the feathers hanging from the pouch at her hip, she growled in frustration as she waited for the purple fox man to appear.

Haikimaru was uneventfully set up with the other fox. And who wouldn't want to go on a date with him. He was the best looking boy at the school. The kitsune had gone into the boys locker room before the other fox arrived and undressed. It was a traditional hot springs and that mean getting into the birthday suit. A little towel was around his waist and those little towels didn't cover very much. He notice that she had arrived and walked up behind her. "You know you're supposed to undress." He commented looking at her clothing.

Maiara crossed her arms, infuriated again by his mannerisms. "Why?" She asked him, defiantly looking at him. She had already seen him undressed once, fighting with him in the process. Yes, he was very attractive, but she wasn't going to let that affect her so easily. As it was easy to see, the towel covered very little, and her sitting down looking up at him, it was pretty much useless. She had no idea that people undressed to sit in this warm, no hot, water. It was quite foreign to her.

Haikimaru frowned and let out a disappointing growl. She wasn't going to listen to him. "Because it's insulting to anyone who is Japanese and it's traditional so you should do it." He told her. He got into the spring. She could stay out if she want. It was not going to do her any good or win any favor points with you.

Maiara sighed, getting up to go where Haikimaru had been, except in the female dressing rooms. She couldn't figure out why there were two different dressing rooms, if it was the same spring anyways. Without her layers of clothing, she felt very strange as back home people were rarely without their clothing. She kept the animal skin pouch tied with rope around her waist on, as it was forbidden to take it off. Putting her clothes in the corner, she didn't bother to take a towel as she went back out to the spring, unashamed of her nakedness.
Without her many layers, it was apparent that she did have a womanly figure. It did, however, take her awhile to enter the warm water, as she had never done such a thing before. She made sure not to get the back of her left shoulder wet, as that was where she had covered up her tribal markings with a herbal mixture. Non-tribals were not allowed to see it. "Why you not fight me again?"

Haikimaru didn't look at her. It was because watching someone while in the hot springs was rude. No one looked at each other they talked but didn't not look. "I will not fight you because I don't have a reason to fight you. There is so much more to life then just pride. Sure it does have some part, but unless I need to fight I don't." He answered her. That was a bad example. There was so many reasons he would fight without reason. But even then they had reasons.

Maiara felt the heat rising in her face from the water; she felt like she was being cooked like meat. "Do not assume it pride why I want fight." She said simply. She was a very prideful person, but it felt great to be able to fight again, the rush of battle. He was strong, and she knew that it wouldn't be easy to fight him. She liked a challenge. "Why your name on paper for people to write on?" Maiara asked him, actually speaking of something besides fighting.

Sure it wasn't pride. That's why he beat her and she wanted to fight him again. If that wasn't pride then he didn't know what it was. Then she mentioned something about a paper. He didn't know what she was talking about. "What paper?" He asked curious as to what she was talking about.

Ranulf had wondered along the forest edge until he came a crossed this little hut like hot springs area and walked in to see a couple of people already there, "Ah, hello there," he said in a warm greeting. Ranulf was currently dressed in hiking boots and cargo shorts with his lycan necklace being the only item worn on his upper body, "mind if I join you?"

Haikimaru didn't like people bothering him on a date. He took one good smell of this man and notice that he was a wolf. That didn't settle well with him. The student let out a firm growl. "I would like it if you would leave my date and I alone." He answered. Haiki was not afraid to be rude. It was an everyday thing for him.

Ranulf laughed at the young man, "No need to be hasty young friend. I hadn't realized you were on a date," he gave a slight bow before turning and to walk out of the small building. He stopped in the doorway to look back at them, "Enjoy your evening," he said then he was out the door and back to his hike.

Maiara quickly got wind of wolf-man's scent and she turned her head quickly to Haikimaru when she heard the growl in his voice. She didn't sense any threat from the man; he seemed pretty harmless to her. She was going to say yes to him, but the her 'date' had already refused him and he was out the door. Interesting. Maybe wolf man was hunting? Maiara sighed; how she missed hunting for her food. She brought her eyes back to the steaming water in front of her. "Paper said name of you. I have trouble reading rest. You from Japan, but it say date. I know not exact what date is but I know it mean something of meeting. Does it also have..." Maiara struggled for a minute for the word, "Date, mean courtship? I want speak with you, so I put name down."

Haikimaru kept his eyes away from his date, but listened to hear her words. She was talking about that paper. It was part of his marketing campaign. She had only done it because she wanted to talk to him and probably wanted to encourage Haiki to fight her once again. He still didn't have a need for it. "Oh. That paper. Well you have me now and I'm all ears." He told her.

"I say before, do assume pride not. I see you do anyway. Here, at school, I feel become weak." Maiara growled again, knowing her speech was terrible. "You understand way I speak? I ask fight to stay strong, you strong. I thought you like fight. When I leave school, and I not fight, I will left behind by fellow tribesmen because I become weak. They say, 'that the chief's daughter, she can not fight a mouse!'" She splashed her hand in the water, "I can not practice fight myself. Need partner." She finally let her hands rest on the very top of the water, as if it were glass. "I sorry if you disappoint. I see you try find mate, I probably not good enough for you."

She was rather unromantic in her words and it was true that he wouldn't fight her in a full on battle. It didn't mean that he would train with her. He first of all needed to clear up something with her. "Yes. I am trying to find a girlfriend. Every single person in this world has a need to mate. Even you. I will not fight you in a full on battle like before, but I would be willing to train with you if that is to your liking."
