DemeterGoddess of Earth and the Seasons,"Oh no, you're more apt in this than I am, Hestia. I do enjoy decorating more than handling the food. It is somewhat a shame that Hera no longer does this with us. She would handle the invitations." Demeter sighed. "But, oh well. We will make do what we have, am I right Hestia?"and the Giving Mother I am.(Haha. No problem. Did I ever say that I love your siggy with monty python? I love the movie!)

Hestia nodded sadly and dug her fingers into a large clump of bread dough, kneading it slowly as she watched Demeter decorate. "Yes, it is sad that Hera is so distracted lately..." Straightening, Hestia rolled the dough out into a long snake like tube and then braided it all together to make a pretty, knot-like design with it. Satisfied, she wiped her hands off on a towel nearby.
"So, how are you feeling after our talk before, sister? You have been on my thoughts."(Haha! Thank you! It's an ongoing joke with my friends and I that develop random phobias like fear of rabbits after watching that Monty Python...so I thought it would be a laugh to make it my siggy.)

DemeterGoddess of Earth and the Seasons,"Much better now, thank you." Demeter was feeling much better. "Thank you for speaking with me, sister." Demeter had let go of the thought of having another child. "No children for me for now. If I see Zeus tonight, I want to ask his permission if I may take a break in the mortal world. Perhaps that is what I need... to get away from Olympus."and the Giving Mother I am.

Smiling, Hestia continued to cook as she listened to her sister's response. She was glad to hear Demeter felt better and the idea of a break in the mortal realm sounded nice. Demeter always seemed to feel better after walking amongst the gardens and nature life she created.
"That sound lovely. I'm sure Zeus won't object." She winked at Demeter, "And if he does I'll help you talk him into it. He hasn't refused me anything since that time Priapos attacked me. I may be the eldest of all of you by birth, but he and all our brothers treat me like a favorite youngest sister..." She laughed at the thought.
"Maybe I've become a little spoiled over the years..." She set to work preparing the meat for the meal, but soon her face clouded and she turned her eyes back to Demeter.
"If you do travel to the Mortal World, however, Sister...please take care. A fire was created yesterday in a garbage can near a church in New York...the goddess Ate, the goddess of ruin is stirring up trouble everywhere...almost with a vengeance...and I fear things will only get worse over time..."
