(OOC: Umm.... Raimu, wouldn't the walls of sound simply hit Dagonite since Aoi is still holding onto him as a shield while they're used? You don't just create the walls wherever you please. They shoot out of your instrument in a straight line. At least, that's how I've always understood the description. Or did Dagonite somehow manage to wiggle free with his own strength because unless he's stronger than a grip that can crush rock, I don't think that's possible with just a simple "wiggled out of Aoi's grasp" as the description....)

"Wow, a cruel one aren't you?" Aoi asked with a sneer as she heard the song's effects. For a moment, she had been about to compare Raimu to another bard she knew, but this act convinced her that they weren't close enough. Letting go of one of the summon's wings just before the attack hit, Aoi used the combined force of Raimu's attack and her strength to sandwich Dagonite between the sound wall and her claw. She aimed for what would be his collar bone knowing that the attack would simply send him out of the fight due to severe blood loss and injury rather than kill him. The fight was far from over and the last thing she wanted was for Umbra to intervene and keep her from killing a summon. That would ruin the whole flow, the whole rhythm of the spar. As her attacking hand stabbed into Dagonite (or missed if that's possible) her other hand prepared for any other attacks.
Even though Aoi was using the Warning Song to her advantage as much as possible, she couldn't help but be pushed back. Her heavily injured leg complained but the pain was just bearable thanks to the amount of work she was forcing onto her uninjured leg.
(OOC: Good?)

_____Rᴀɪᴍᴜ Aᴋɪ_____ "Do I really look that innocent?"[ Siren // Bard // Novice // Nocturne ] Trying to get Dagonite back, Raimu ran forward to take Dagonite out of her grasp. Seeing that Raimu was a bit ore faster than Aoi, she decided to attack her once she got close enough. Creating a blowtorch-like jet from her fist, she brought her fist down onto Aoi, trying slash her with the flame made dagger. It was great to use for a close range attack within meters from her opponents. Once she had done that, she grabbed hold of Dagonite's wing that Aoi let go, lightly pulling on it. She was making sure that she didn't harm Dagonite too much, but tried to pull him out of the battle as well. (OOC: So I'm guessing Aoi's attack hit Dagonite just as she wanted?) After having successfully maimed Dagonite so much that he wouldn't be able to participate physically in the fight any more, Aoi decided that it was about time she let the poor creature go. As Raimu approached her, the girl blasted Dagonite towards her with an Air Blast that had the strength of a tackle just as she slashed with her Flame Dagger. The arm that was outstretched to control the wind was hit hard by the dagger, but the scales that were naturally on her arms combined with the Sandpaper Scales skill that Aoi used just before the attack hit kept it from receiving any major damage. However, the same was probably not true for Raimu. Having Dagonite in front of the air attack wouldn't soften the blow, seeing how it was already a blunt attack skill to begin with. It would simply make it feel as if Dagonite was tackling her instead of just wind, which could probably actually be worse due to the summon's weight. Additionally, because Raimu had been in close range and had just slashed with her flame dagger when Aoi used the wind skill, her fire attack would also cause further harm Dagonite. (150/550) Air BlastRank: C to S Requires: Air Punch/Kick Description: A more offensive move involving a direct pulse or jet of almost solid wind from the hands or feet. The force of the attack is generated more from the user's own power rather than assisted by momentum. This direct blast can reach further with greater accuracy and is used to inflict greater damage. This is an advance version of the Air Punch/Kick because it is a constant stream of Air. This is blunt force. C= A tackle B= Kick of horse A= Car S= BUS! Sandpaper Scales Rank: D Requirements: Novice Description:A defensive skill, the draconian infuses their energy into their scales, making it raise at an ankle and much harder then normal. For three posts, the scales will have twice the hardness and be very sharp as if like shark skin. The purpose of this is to make close contact very unfriendly as flesh can be shredded from simple contact.This skill needs a two post recharge after use. (OOC: I think it's alright to have my character react between the time when you used your music skill and charged in. Even if you charged in right after the last sound wall shot out, Aoi should still be able to because sound travels a lot faster than a bard can run even if Raimu just needed to take a couple steps to reach Aoi... I think.... At the very least, Aoi should be able to blast Dagonite at Raimu before she tries and takes him from her grasp.)

_____Rᴀɪᴍᴜ Aᴋɪ_____  "Do I really look that innocent?"[ Siren // Bard // Novice // Nocturne ] {ooc: Yeah, I guess it was alright. After all, Raimu wasn't as close to Aoi as the sound barriers were. And, Aoi got pushed back so the distance between the two is different by a smidge. At least... I think it is.}
Raimu gasped as Dagonite was blasted toward her with an air blast attack. When she used her flame dagger attack, she seemed to have his Aoi, but also Dagonite in the process. She was starting to get sad when Dagonite was hurt, so she would have to make a visit to the hospital with him once she was done, victorious or not. When Dagonite was pushed toward her, she grabbed hold of him and lightly jumped back when she took him. Raimu then set Dagonite off to the side to let him rest for the time being. Sure, she could have healed him with her siren healing skill, but that would blow her cover.
She takes her violin and bow to begin playing a song. As she played the song, a musical staff emerged and began to grow from her instrument. As she played the song, the staff tryed to encase Aoi with the song. The more she played, the staff would become tighter. Although, she only wanted to play the song long enough to possibly slow Aoi down (if it was possible to do so that is). She continued to play, keeping an eye out for any attacks coming at her. Quote: Melodic Chains Rank: C Description: This is a very interesting ability for you can see the physical manifestation of the song. A musical staff will emerge and grow from the musical instrument and this will try to wrap around your opponent and encase them in this song. The longer you keep playing the tighter it gets. An A rank attack will destroy this or if the minstrel/bard stops playing. By the first post the person will have trouble breathing, by the second they cant breath anymore and are starting to choke, by the third you start crushing their body if they manage to live up to the fourth post their bones begin to break if they do make it to the fifth post it wont matter anymore cause you would have compacted them.

(OOC: Just so you know, feel free to argue any points. The last time I rped an npc for someone's test, we had about a page of OOC straight to clear things up 3nodding ,) As Raimu had grabbed hold of Dagonite and took the time to set him down, Aoi had already started charging forward, placing a harmonica in her mouth as she did so. By the time that the effects of the song hit the draconian, she was about 3 meters or so from the siren. Staggering only momentarily as she quickly countered the other bard's Melodic Chains with her own Melodic Chains, she continued her straightforward charge. She could tell that she was running low on energy; she needed to end this fight. Needing only one hand to play her instrument while Raimu needed two, the girl took advantage of that difference and attacked with her free hand as soon as she was in range. Her scales were still toughened from the Sand Paper Scales skill, so even if her claws missed, her scales would do some damage should they just brush against the target's arm. _____Rᴀɪᴍᴜ Aᴋɪ_____  "Do I really look that innocent?"[ Siren // Bard // Novice // Nocturne ] {ooc: alrighty! although, nothing seems wrong actually. Aoi was pushed back so that would lengthen the distance between the two. well... in my opinion it was.}
Taking notice to Aoi countering her song with the same skill as she used, Raimu decided to counter it with a different skill. Beginning to play a song, translucent blades made from the sound will strike at Aoi coming from her violin. These blades are as sharp as regular blades. She took not that she could play her harmonica with one hand so that left her with one free hand. Once Raimu had countered Aoi's song, she created an air shield around herself (or her body) to prevent harm from her claws or sand paper skin if the claws missed her. The shield was rarely used to stop attacks directly and more often pushes the attack aside and away. Since air can affect almost all physical objects, it can also be used to enforce the momentum of thrown objects or manipulate other objects. Perhaps Aoi would be pushed aside once she had touched the shield of air. Eɴᴇʀɢʏ Sʏsᴛᴇᴍ: 105/550 Dagonite's Energy: 275/275 Bᴀᴛᴛʟᴇ Tʜᴇᴍᴇ: Sᴛʀᴀᴡʙᴇʀʀʏ Cʀɪsɪs Wᴇᴀᴘᴏɴs: Vɪᴏʟɪɴ, Tʀᴜᴍᴘᴇᴛ, ᴀ Sᴘᴇᴀʀ
Quote: War Song Rank: C Requires: Power Chord Description: This is an advanced version of the power chord. It is an entire song of it. As the song's melody goes this time translucent blades made from the sound will strike at the enemy coming from the instrument these blades are as sharp as regular blades. The song lasts for two posts and during that time you may shoot out five blades per post. They travel at a straight line from the instrument to the target. Air Shield Rank: D (Energy usage is equivalent to the rank of your enemy's attack) Description: The most common defensive tactic involves circling enemies, suddenly changing direction when attacked and evading by physical movement rather than bending. However, the user can still deflect as needed by throwing up gusts of air close to their bodies as a shield. This is rarely to stop attacks directly and more often pushes the attack aside and away, conserving energy and allowing them to turn the movement into an attack at the same moment. Since air can affect almost all physical objects, it can also be used to enforce the momentum of thrown objects or manipulate other objects.

Blades, Aoi could handle. With her hand already close to her face thanks to playing her harmonica, the bard simply shifted the harmonica-holding arm slightly to block the sound blades from the weaker points of her body such as her face. The rest easily blocked the skill with minimal damage thanks to the Sandpaper Scales skill that still had effect over her body.
The Air Shield, however, was harder to get through. Aoi's attacking claw was stopped in its track and thrown backwards even as it maintained its sideways velocity. Unhindered, the Draconian kept up her attack, using her other claw, which had just replaced the harmonica into the pocket it had come out of, to attack the air shield a moment after the first attack. This claw, however, was much stronger than the last one, having been powered up with Dragon Claws.
Aoi was very close to reaching the end of the line in terms of energy by this point. However, she refused to go down, knowing that Raimu must have just as little energy as she did. If a small girl like her could keep on going, so could she.
Dragon Claws Rank: B Requires: Adept at least to learn Description: After claws have been used, the user can use a rather powerful skill to make their dragon like claws to become more dangerous. Coating energy around the claws, the user adds their element into the attack, causing different things to occur depending on what element the draconian has. This lasts three posts, and requires a two post cooloff period. The energy coating the claws gives it an extra 3in length, and is capable of cutting through hard substances. At Adept it can cut through Iron, steel at expert, and through most things but diamond at master. Remember, regardless of your rank you have to spend B rank energy Fire = Claws are burning with searing flames Water = Claws are icy and cold, wounds they make leave small icy crystals in the body Wind = Claws are coated in swirling winds, making it sharper and slightly longer by two inches Earth = Claws are hardened further and more solid, increasing to be harder then steel and adds to the sharpness

(OOC: Well, yes you can count it as an emergency, especially since Raimu doesn't know that Umbra would make sure that Aoi doesn't kill her. Although, beware, once Aoi finds out that you're a siren, it won't be a spar for her anymore. She'll be seriously aiming to kill you and will bring her summon into the fight as well 3nodding . Well, actually, she's kind of been aiming to kill you for the last several posts, but there was always Umbra to act as the safeguard/referee of sorts to make sure Raimu doesn't die. If you reveal your siren nature and you won't have Umbra to make sure you live.)
