m isaki stood by the wall, shocked by the stranger's words. Levitate? Really?! Instantly she lowered her katar and ran straight into the door, bracing herself with her free hand against it. "Can you really levitate?" she asked enthusiastically, no longer feeling threatened and completely excited. "Do you think you could show me? You don't have Anigan, right? That's so cool, thinking people can fly without wings!"

Nagisa looked at DN, who seemed to be stronger now. She was also, without a doubt, angry. "Is your lord and master giving you another chance?" She asked with a smile. The tables had turned. last time, Nagisa was the one who was getting emotional. She had learned how to deal with most of her counterpart's mental warfare. Still, she seemed to have company this time as well... She turned back to "Ides" with an annoyed look. "You have got to be kidding me... I can't just leave her alone up there, since this mountain is obviously unsafe...I don't suppose you could somehow prove that she will be able to return without harm?" If she couldnt be sure she would have to go keep her safe the hard way...

Ides Muramasa  NPC | Spirit of the Southern Mountain | Father of DeathDN smiled as she looked at Nagisa and replied back. "Is your village leader still an incompetent idiot?" The crowd of dark villagers laughed at this little joke as there seemed to just be more and more of them popping up everywhere. Even shadows of the fallen ones managed to pass by. Ides began to step closer and closer to Nagisa until they were about a foot apart. He looked down at the young lady with a piercing cold stare. "I'm under very strict orders to not hurt the girl unless I have to. So her life is in your hands. If you try to climb the mountain, she'll be dead before you reach the top. If you stay down here like a good little girl, then she'll be back to you in one piece. Don't make this difficult."

Nagisa thought that over a bit, and sighed. Ides was in control of the mountain, and could probably get to Sora long before Nagisa did... She felt he probably wasn't bluffing, he didn't sound too pleased to let someone climb the mountain. She had ignored DN completely, she had already learned to ignore what she says long ago. It was almost nostalgic seeing her again. She walked over and leaned on a tree, and let her eyes drop to Ides. Watching him would probably help Nagisa figure out what his intentions were.

m isaki snuggled her teddy closer to her. Liars. My daddy told me to never trust them, never to talk to them... But... She laid Yin and Yang by her feet and slowly opened the door, careful to show only half of her face and nothing more. If I'm really careful, I bet no harm would come of it. The voice did, in fact, belong to a girl, and by Misaki's observation, she looked to be either about the same age or younger than herself. "Tricking people really isn't a nice thing to do.
" she said, trying her creepy voice again. "Somethimes, people get severe punishment for such things."

First of all, the inhabitant of this haunted-looking house was a girl about her age. Second of all, the girl bore a striking resemblance to the Raikage and… after a bit more thought, Ukiyo as well. Then, came the big whopper, . "Wh-what's your name?" "It's even worse to ignore someone's words!" Misaki stuck her tounge out at the strange girl, then quickly pulled back behind the door. Don't get too confortable... Strange people are dangerous... "But I'll let it go this time. To answer your question, I am none other than- " She stopped herself midsentence, keeping herself from saying her name. I shouldn't be so quick to give information. People are dangerous, especially if they know who my daddy is. "How about you tell me who you are. You are a guest knocking at my door. I must know who you are to better decide if I should let you in or" Misaki couldn't help but to lower her voice and give an evil grin "Make you disappear from this mountain myself."

No matter. Try again. Fail again. Fail better. ❂Sora was now in her serious-mode and completely focused on trying to find out whether or not the girl in front of her was the daughter she read about in Ukiyo's diary even if she was still scared and timid. She took a chance and replied hesitantly, "Oh, sorry, my name is Sora Hikari. Are you Misaki Sumizome?" while watching the face of the other girl. She had heard her boast about having Sora disappear from the mountain. This was Ukiyo's mountain meaning that if this girl really had the power to do what she threatened, then she probably was Ukiyo's daughter. With that revelation, everything else seemed to click into place. In her letter, Misaki had asked for how long she would be trapped on the mountain, this mountain. "A re you Misaki Sumizome?" Misaki put on her best smile and kicked her katar further away from her. She's not a threat. She knows my name! Which means, she knows daddy! She opened the door wide to not leave an even more negitave impression on Sora. "Yup! My name is Misaki, and this" she held up her teddy bear by the arms in front of her face. "This is my best friend, Teddy. You have to remember to pet him from time to time, or else he'll do nasty things to you while you sleep." She giggled a little as she pet the bunny's head and turned to twirl around inside a little. "So, why are you here? You're a friend of daddy's right? Do you have a message from him or something?"

No matter. Try again. Fail again. Fail better. ❂As serious as she was just then, Sora couldn't help but be taken back by Misaki's sudden change of personality. One moment, she was spooky and threatening and the next…. Well, the next she seemed just like Sora: perfectly normal and maybe a bit childish. Her surprise and relief, along with having confirmed her suspicions, was more than enough for the blonde girl to switch from thinking seriously to thinking as she usually did.

As Misaki rattled on, Sora nodded politely to show that she was listening, it was only when the girl switched to asking if Sora knew her father that Sora began to hesitate. "Misaki," the girl carefully chose her words, deciding to try and remain neutral (in the sense of whether or not she was Ukiyo's friend) for the time being. She remembered the letter and how it was left at the bar within the village and decided to use that as a starting point of sorts, "do you know that your father is now a missing-nin of Kumogakure?". If the letter had been left at the bar, it seemed likely that Misaki didn't know. Why would Ukiyo ever return to a sake bar in a village that he was a criminal of? "H mmm." Misaki played with teddy's ears as she stood and thought about Sora's question. "I kinda sorta had an idea, if that makes any sense to you. I mean, he did attack a lot of people, including mom. Even if it was for a good reason, people don't see it that way and hate him lots for it." Misaki squezeed teddy tight within her hands, highly upset with the people in the village. "In my opinion, everyone down there is just stupid. Dad just wants to help and they want daddy dead. See? Stupid." She smiled up at Sora as she loosened her grip on the bunny. "But I still get to see him sometimes, and I send him lots of letters. Since we are both close to animals and can use them, I can sneak a message to him, even through the village if I wish."

What she did feel, though, was a pang of guilt. Yes, of course she had felt guilty when she first pilfered the letter but now that she met the actual writer, she felt even more guilty.

"Well," Sora sighed, "if you already had an idea that your dad left the village, then I hope you won't be surprised." She paused as she rummaged through her bag. After several seconds, she pulled out an opened envelope that Misaki could recognize as her own, "If I came to return this. I'm...." Sora paused to take a few deep breaths to steady herself. She could feel her fear overtaking her body, something she couldn't let happen. the girl thought as she continued, "I'm sorry, I didn't think it'd be such a personal letter so I read it after snatching it from your dad's office at the sake bar. I don't think he'd be able to get it from there now that he's wanted in Kumo so you might need to find another place to send it to."
