Erik continued dancing, the earnest smile still on his face. He spoke to Emily. "Yeah, I am enjoying myself. I can't remember the last time I had this much fun." Erik debated internally whether or not to bring up the subject of the boy she obviously crushed on. He didn't want to ruin the mood of the dance, so he decided against it and kept quiet.

Arthur appeared shadow traveling wearing his usually jacket and black jeans. he may be rich but he neve packed a tux. Arthur went to Alcex,"Sorry im late I got tracked by a monster in the forest and, well got kiled by a mistake I made. Sorry to keep your pretty face waiting my friend."
(sy In all honesty I didnt know I was usppose to go to this dance, only though it was the other dance))

Erik laughed with her as the song ended. He stopped dancing in the middle of the floor, releasing his hold on her shoulder and hip. "Do you want a drink?" He asked.

Emily nodded, making her brown wavy hair bounce gently. "Sure." She said, some what missing the feeling of his hand on her hip and shoulder.

Christine walked into the dance, her bright red hair pulled into a loose bun on her head. She wore a simple black dress, and converse, not really caring about her appearance.

Selene sat down. What people must be thinking of me. she thought, her hair in her face. her black dress was diffrent from everyone else's.

Erik turned towards the refreshments table and said: "Alright, I'll be back in just a minute." Erik walked over to the refreshments table. For the first time he noticed everyone else in attendance. They were just talking amongst themselves, but not dancing. He picked up two cups of punch and turned to walk back to where stood in the middle of the dance floor. When he reached Emily he gave her the drink and said "Here you go." He took a sip from his own drink. Ilroché was tired of leaning in the wall and not talking to anyone, especially when everyone around him was engaged in conversation. He was about to leave when he noticed a girl that was all alone. She wore a black dress and had her hair in her face. He decided to walk over and speak to her, since she, like himself, was alone. He sat next to her and said: "Hello."

hiogurl123 Karissa rethought her words and just realized she might've sounded foolish. She bit her lip and continued on with the conversation. "Thank you," she replied to his comment, smiling then when the music stopped she said,"Yeah, a drink would be nice."
Henri nodded and after smiling, walked over to the drinks area. "Two cups of punch please," he requested, and as he waited for his order, he took the time to look around the ballroom. There were little people currently attending the dance; it was quite late and most people had already left to go back to their cabins.
"Here are your drinks," the waiter (who was a satyr) said, handing him to cups of punch. After saying a quick thanks, he walked back over to Karissa, and after handing her her drink, sat down next to the child of Athena.
After taking a sip of his drink, Henri eyed Karissa curiously. "So...What do you want to talk about?" Henri usually led conversations, but for once in his life, he had no idea on what to say.

Erik smiled in return, continuing to sip his punch. He had no idea what to talk about or what to do next. ((I think it's kind of funny how there are different conceptions about where to get a drink. Some people have posted about waiters, a bar-type thing, or just a table of refreshments. Just a totally random thought. xD ))

Christine sat down on a chair, alone and bored. Her eyes landed on a handsome kid with a pretty faced girl. The boy had blonde hair and seemed to glow almost. She guessed he was a child of Apollo. She wondered if that girl was his girlfriend or something. If she wasn't, Chris decided she may as well talk to him when she got the chance.

Grateful that Emily broke the silence, Erik answered her question. "It's great. I've never been to one before, and I must say that for a first time it's quite enjoyable."

Karissa sat down and took her drink, "Thanks," she said as she sipped a bit of her punch. She was thinking curiously of what to talk about, she was usually good with conversations but now her mind was blank. She was thinking of a subject to talk about when she asked to spark up a conversation, "So what do you think of the dance so far?"
