He gave Ray a warning glance then turned back to the man who identified himself as Bandi. "Evan Darkwoods." he returned the introduction.
Secret chamber? Evan knew every nook and cranny of the temple. And it was true that there were passage ways out of view and rooms that were less conspicuous than the others. But a 'secret' chamber hidden away? That was unlikely.
"Brother, I have seen the blueprints myself, and there was no where a hidden chamber. All of the spaces were accounted for and well known of. True there are a few spaces that not many else notice it, but nothing that are secret."
He said so and took the plans from him and took a look himself. Indeed there was a chamber in the map he knew not of.
"That's.... curious... If it wouldn't be too much problem, I'd very much like to accompany you."

Red Rebels

Hokyo had just slipped on his shirt when an older member of the council came running into his tent, screaming at that. Hokyo slammed his hand across the man’s face; Ameena stirred in her sleep but did not wake. This was a good thing for the other council member. Removing his hand, the man starred at Hokyo and began tearing up. He explained about how the man that had been hired had attacked him. He sighed rather annoyed with such things. Telling the man to sit in his chair and to not make a sound, Hokyo walked out from his tent.

He sure he looked odd, standing there in the way of some assassin but he could only guess what it looked like. He was unarmed, wearing not a single piece of armor and his right arm bandaged to hide the curse that Daton had placed on him. He simply stood there, having a strange feeling that the man would be able to find the him without any help, but he wasn’t going to allow him to enter the tent, if words did not work, violence would, he did this not cause he cared for the old man, but for Ameena.

Mayumi smiled at Daton. She couldn't understand why the red rebels hated him so. When the comment about sleeping with him came up, she blushed of course, a light laugh escaping her mouth. She was going to make a reply, when Dark spoke, practically taking the words from her mouth. She simply gestured to him.

Why didn't I ask to be under his five pillars? I asked Dark and he obliged... Mayumi cleared her throat. "I think Dark chose me because of my healing ability. Which is a good choice, I guess. Being that it would be harder to kill me in a fight." Mayumi didn't want to sound full of herself, but she honestly didn't see much of a chance of her dying. Then again, she didn't know how well the former general trained his rebels. It didn't matter though. Whether she lived or died, she got her chance to fight for what she believed in.

The Capital

Daton looked back at Mayumi, she was a rather unique woman. Though his eyes glanced to the side and he felt like someone had used some source of power. “Blake please return to the castle.” He said aloud, making him look a little odd, but of course no one questioned.

Dark cleared his throat, he wasn’t fond of Daton’s idea, it was making a large opening for Hokyo to attack, but at the same time Hokyo was once considered the man that could conquer a whole city without a army. Dark had seen this happen before, he had been there and yet he still felt uneasy. All of Daton’s strange behavior was starting to appear as a well thought out plan. How far could he see into the future of this battle? Did he know the outcome of this chess game before Hokyo even moved a single piece.

Bandi nodded in approval.
"It would be welcomed." He gave Ray a cautious glance.
"If the lady promises to be polite, you may come as well." Bandi offered.
Without waiting for a response, he led the way and entered the Temple.

Ray put her hands up in defense. She wouldn’t mess with that. Instead she just placed her hands behind her back and gave a low whistle. She was feeling kind of bored but men would be men right? She had learned names, that was even nicer, but again she said nothing. Instead she began to move around a bit, quite bored with the situation at hand. She was addressee and she rolled her eyes. She gave a bit of a wave as if to say ‘sure what ever’ because she fully intended on coming wither or not the guy with the stick let her or not.

Her hands lifted above her head and she leaned back as she walked “can’t say I’m a lady though” she mumbled to herself not intending for the two to hear. She then took up the back of the group.

Blake flinched and frowned. If she had only gotten a little further then she could have denied ever hearing him. But like a good little puppet she returned appearing in the room with a bit of a blizzard. Her men knew who it was once t hey felt the cool chill and it didn’t help that Daton had asked such a thing. “Pardon, Lord but might I ask what you are planning?” Ah yes, she was angry and one glance to the new recruit had her steaming even more. First she had to dance with Dark, while he was a good dancer she had felt out of place because she knew he didn’t care for her all that much. Then she finds out he has a kid and now they aren’t aloud to fight? Oh no this did not bode well with the child.

For once she agreed with Dark and not with Daton, which was probably a sign of the end of the world. She clenched her fists at her side, the cold air flowing around her but doing nothing to harm anyone. She was a wild one but she knew how to control her powers and of course when such control was necessary.

[edit]Mayumi stood as the conversation went silent- except for the music and dancing in the background. She watched Daton's eyes wander as he kind of out of the blue spoke to Blake to return. "My Lord, is there something wrong?" She said, frowning, rather confused. She shouldn't have spent the past while complaining like a spoiled brat about lack of action. It was her job to take action, Mayumi just figured it wouldn't do any good.

Well, she truly had proved herself wrong. Here she was, having a conversation with Dark and Lord Daton, at a celebration that was half for her. All because she asked a question. She smiled. She was oddly enuogh... proud. there was no reason to be, it was their choice to celebrate, but the fact that she deserved it made her happy.

Blake had now returned, and did not seem happy at all. Mayumi didn't want to upset her anymore, so she kept her mouth shut. She didn't back up though. She respected Blake, but she didn't want to seem like the slightest thing could make her back down.

Daton smiled when Blake returned. “I’m sorry my dear, but I can’t allow you to wonder too far from my sight, if you decided to attack the rebels without my permission, I would fear you would not live to see the sun.” Daton spoke rather harshly, his eyes glued onto the woman that stood before him. “When was the last time my Five were able to enjoy themselves? Allow our dear Hokyo some time to gain a well formed army, and then my little ice queen you can freeze as many hearts as you like.” He spoke cruel from the boy that was just a moment ago sitting there and swaying with the music. This was the Daton that those that knew him best saw.

Dark smile spread across his face, he had feared that his Lord had lost his mind, however he soon realized what his plan was. “Our Lord has declared that we give the rebels a possible chance to win, if we were to destroy them as they are now, they will simply rise again, but if we destroy them when they are more powerful, people will see that there is no reason to even oppose Our Lord, replacing the missing Fifth pillar with that of my son we gain another hand, chocking the rebels into fighting on our terms allow us to weaken them as they spread towards the capital, leaving them weak if they make it this far, to face the main force.” Dark spoke loudly, and he could see that Daton was smiling out of the corner of his eye. His logic was sound.

Blake did not need Dark’s words, she knew from how Daton spoke to her. Of course she got enjoyment from her killing. His death threat did not phase her for she and well anyone knew she would never defy a direct order. The harshness of his voice was what little Blake craved. She did not seek kindness for she did not understand it, but this, it was cold, but she was a being of ice so it worked. She moved to the throne and as before she dropped to one knee. She looked up, her chocolate eyes in complete understanding. He would give them a chance to think they have won, and then crush them in one sweep. It was a wonderful plan indeed. “You have only to wish it and I would make this world a frozen tundra my lord.’

It was funny how she took the things he said. In fact it might have been because he said it in such a way that she listened. Sweet words would fall upon deaf ears and many knew that. “However my lord, what would you have me do while we wait?” There she could ask for some kind of mission right? Surly he didn’t’ expect her to sit around growing fat.

Mayumi was at first shocked, but then she smiled. She'd wondered why Daton was playing the evening out so oddly. Dark no longer held a troubled expression, Blake still looked icy as ever. Mayumi was glad she still couldn't feel the ice.

She looked back over her shoulder at the scattered room. Mostly, she saw the danceflooor, full of flowing skirts and dresses. It was a sight out of a fairytale. But she also saw some skeptics, staring throw their hair at their group. It must be odd for them, seeing their Lord have such a long conversation with us; and most of them probably haven't even seen me before. She thought. She turned her head back to conversation. She pushed her hair behind her ear. The length of it was nice, but could get annoying.

Much earlier, in her conversation with Dark in the hallway, he had not answered her question. He had told her when he planned the celebration, but nothing else. She focused on Daton. "Do you have a general idea on how long until Hokyo" She was glad to finally know the general's name. "Will have an appropriate army? Until we can move forward ourselves, I mean."

Sure enough, they were able to find a secret passageway leading down below the temple underneath the edifice that was a shrine with a forgotten purpose.
The stairway had a few cobwebs, but otherwise well preserved.
It wasn't too long until they reached the bottom.

The sight was, however, unexpected. There in the chamber was another temple. Only, there wasn't any religious tones but various symbols of the Red Rebel and its members.
There were scrolls and books lining the two side walls and at the far-end of the wall, were seven artifacts. By the symbols each of them lied beneath, it seemed each of these relics belonged to the finding members of the Council.

"This... this is most extraordinary..."

The Capital

Daton smiled, his hand dropped the empty glass of wine. “I want you to build my army, Dark will be in charge of getting our secret weapon ready the fifth pillar, so build me a army that when Hokyo does approach this city even with a hundred thousand men, he will see a ocean full of men that will destroy him. Crush all those who oppose us, destroy the weak, leave street not paved in blood.” Daton spoke with such harsh words that it would feel as though he actually could make the room freeze in aw. The glass shattered onto the ground and pieces flew out to land with the wine he had poured just a moment ago, reflecting those that stood around him.

Dark looked at Mayumi and a smile spread across his face, this was more to his comfort. War. “Hokyo conquered the nearly half of the Asian empire, simply by walking into their towns and destroying it from the inside while his soldiers would wait. The name the Red Blitz was caused by this and his red hair, his weapon skill involve that of an Asian sword that he came across some years ago, he is quick enough to kill with his own hands.” Dark spoke, the other Lords were now paying attention now, and he figured he might as well inform the others of what Hokyo is possible. “Though his true weapon is that of the power he controls, he has the ability to use a white energy magic that we have called “Holy Light’ it can be used in three forms, a shield which allows him to avoid many long range attacks along with be in the middle of enemies and has a area of shield, the second is that of a sharp unseen force that can destroy anything in its path, the last allows him to expand and spread through castles and destroy the foundation.” Dark said, he spoke with much confidence that of Hokyo’s ability. “His weakness include not able to handle over powering blows, he is meant for speed, so if you can corn him strike hard or with multiple attacks.” He nodded as he recounted anything else he could think of. “Hokyo has likely formed a reasonable size army; he will form generals in order to control the army, so I would guess we have about six months to a year.” He finished.

While many would see this as a large spand of time, but when it came to war, it wasn’t that hard for time to past. Five years had passed when he was in Asian land, but at that time it was always war. So in a single year he would come to terms with advancing his sons level to be that of his own and create a army of Daton’s wishes.

Though it wasn’t the best of missions, she would do it for Daton. The glass in his hand shattered and a shard came her way, however she did not dodge, or put up and ice block, she allowed the little shard of glass to cut into her cheek, a thin line that cost her no harm. The little trail of blood leaked from the wound and she stood. Daton was a might greater then many she had ever seen. She faced the people, her wound already healing. The only sign that she had been touched was the left over blood that she let sit upon her face. “then an army I will give you.” Only her training would be very harsh. The strongest would survive and in the end the weak would be killed, most likely by her own had as she had no tolerance for the weak.

It was that time that a warm hand touched the cold woman’s face. Some how red haired man had made his way into the room and into her personal space without her noticing which made her growl in frustration. “now, now dear Blakie, black doesn’t suit your pretty face.” Said man leaned forward and licked the trail of blood he found there. He oculd only laugh at the woman as she jerked her body away. He felt ice lick his skin but absorbed it as if it were nothing. When he breathed out one could see the difference in his body temperature as what looked like steam exited his mouth. He glanced over at Daton, a bored expression upon his face “do in nothin?” he questioned in his odd way then shrugged. ”Suits me”

Kai, the third pillar had made his appearance. He was defiantly a problem maker, and the way he treated Blake showed that he wasn’t’ afraid of much. But at the same time the man was not stupid. His eyes scanned the crowd. The new woman stood out to him, he had already learned her name, but that wasn’t the point. Quickly the red haired man moved to Dark’s side and he sighed as if disappointed by something “Hey Dark, how come you get all the pretty ones? A new recruit and a dance with Blake, man I wish I was you about now…”

Evan looked around this hidden chamber with amazement. He couldn't help but think: Jackpot.
The room was filled with ancient knowledge and lost information. He could feel it tingling his skin.
"Boy am I glad I stayed..."

He ran his hand along the shelves and took a glance. Much of the documents were badly damaged from age, and humidity, but it seemed much of it could be salvaged.
